“I hope this doesn’t sound to sleazy but, can I offer you a cup of coffee at a cafe?” A playful chuckle escaped the survivor’s lips which was soon followed by him rubbing the back of his head. He knew it was a rather out-dated way to ask someone out, but he preferred it to what most people said and did now a days.

     “Goodness, what a surprise! It’s been a while since a boy’s made an attempt at asking me out for coffee.” Mostly because it’s been futile, but she decides not to make any mention of that. It always hurt when she had to break a poor fan’s heart, so the best thing she could do was let them down easy. Idol woes indeed... Even so, it was a pleasant surprise, and rather flattering at that. 

     “I’d like to take you up on that offer, if not for the fun of it, but I can’t really be seen alone with a boy in public. I can see the entertainment mag headlines now...” she explains. Still... circumstances were a bit different at Hope’s Peak, with lack the lack of media capturing her every move on school grounds. Some advantage of this could be taken, to an extent, and she was always curious as to what a cafe date would be like. Going out and making it a completely authentic experience was still too big a risk in her mind, but perhaps the atmosphere could be emulated here at least? “Hm... actually... would the cafeteria be a good substitute? Maybe you could walk me through an average date? You seem like you're pretty knowledgeable about that sort of thing!”

     “Oops... I think I prodded a bit too much.”

Komaru may have been well aware of the fact she was allowed to kiss said idol, but… Well, her words put enough of a doubt in her mind that she didn’t know what to say. She was pretty easily persuaded of anything. Her face flushed red, looking away.

❝ Th-That’s- I… I’m sorry. ❞

     “Hehe... You can play along, can’t you, Komaru-chan? Come here.” Whispering those words, the idol takes her hand and tugs her close. She hoped some of her own playful nature would rub off on Komaru since they’d met, but it was fun to show affection like this as was. If Komaru had just a tiny bit more confidence...

❝ Y-You know! ❞

She let out a nervous laugh, fully aware of the fact she was being teased. It was fine, honestly. Especially since it was Sayaka doing it.

❝ I could… K-Kiss you instead. ❞

     “O-Oh my...! Where on earth did you get such a bold idea...? Kissing an idol...!?” She feigns surprise in her voice and features, knowing full well who was responsible for giving her the idea.

❝ Th-There’s no need to be jealous! I… I mean, I could… You too! ❞

     “You coooouuuuld... what...?”

     She’s completely ignored the bit about being jealous, and instead looks at her expectantly.

❝ You’re not a real Sayaker unless you’ve kissed at     least two posters of her! ❞

     “Oh! So Sayaka-chan was correct...! To have a fashion icon such as Junko Enoshima as a classmate must be quite a thrill!” Koyomi beams. She may as well make use of any time she needed to spend here to meet famous people outside of the confines of the idol or entertainment industry. Junko in particular looked just about as striking in person as she did in magazines. While Koyomi realized she wasn’t in an ideal position to cause any sort of fuss, she could not help but let a bit of fangirling slip through.

     It probably wasn’t the best idea to loiter around Hope’s Peak’s campus, but Sayaka hadn’t been anywhere to be found, and Koyomi needed to speak with her about a few things. She could either wait, or ask around, which she decided upon the latter, and if anyone became curious, she could easily pass herself off as a relative, given their resemblance. Unfortunately... a lot of students didn’t appear to be around, but she manages to catch sight of one seemingly preoccupied with a game of some sort.

     “Excuse me...” Koyomi lightly taps the girl’s shoulder in an attempt to get her attention, before continuing. “Do you know where I could find Sayaka Maizono?” she politely inquires.

I haven’t had much use for her outside of duplicate interactions, but I’d honestly like to see how my Body Double AU would work with other muses aside from Maizono. So... if you’d like to have a thread with Koyomi Nagase, feel free to like this post! I’ll probably make an entire separate bio page for her later, but to summarize, she fills in for Maizono for shows in which she’s unable to attend, due to Hope’s Peak or other reasons, and despite bearing a striking resemblance to her, they are in no way related.
