i miss being young and writing whatever and just letting it be bad. now i'm older and writing whatever and i'm not trying to make it bad but,

Mito sent him the address and they agreed on a time. His heart was fluttering with excitement already! It was always nice when someone took the preemptive to ask you on an outing. All the more when it was Ren.

He pulled on some soft jeans and a knitted jumper, accessorizing only minimally since it was probably better to be more casual. He waited for him at the front of the gallery, trying not to check the time on his phone every 30 seconds.

Having plans that he had to keep made it easier to get off the couch and get dressed, though he didn't find himself trying particularly hard on this occasion, as much as he may have wanted to otherwise. A dark blue button up shirt with a gentle floral print was what he first pulled out and thus what he decided on. A pair of jeans, a black jacket and a matching dark blue scarf later, and he was ready to meet up with Mito.

On his approach, Ren couldn't help but notice Mito looking at his phone. Shit. I'm not late, am I? But when he caught Mito's eye, he gave Mito his best smile - years of practice hopefully meant it was convincing. 'Hey,' he greeted. 'Hope you weren't waiting too long.'

At least now that she was in his arms, the yowling almost instantly ceasing - only to be replaced with loud, rumbling purrs from her tiny form.

Ren smiled, the sincerity of it making it a rare sight. He took a long, deep breath as he held the feline in his arms, listening to her purrs as he gently pet her ever soft fur.

She's wandering around in her cat form, large fluffy tail puffed up and loud yowls able to be heart. She demands attention!!!

'I hear ya.' And what better for Ren to do with a loud cat than to simply... pick her up!

i would be trying to do replies across my blogs but i'm back in hand resting mode. anyway. my obsession with cross stitch continues

i wanted to be all cryptic about it but then i realised there are features of this most recent pic that make it sooooo obvious what this is... but i'm excited!! it's gonna take 50 years but it's gonna look sooooo good!
