I need tiktokers to understand that ao3 has been home for the freaks (affectionate) ever since the day it was created. the entire site was created because ādark and fucked up ficsā were banned and removed from other platforms, so us freaks came together and created a site for other freaks ā a site where nothing is censored, a site with no algorithm, no capitalism, no ads, and again, absolutely no censorship.

on my way to the cafe, my car buzzed with the faint whisper of One Direction songs, which was interrupted by the occasional announcement of directions on the map, when i got a text from Gabi, one of my friends iād made on my last modelling trip to germany, saying she was in town for a shoot and i was undeniably happy to say yes when she asked to meet up, considering i was already planning on coffee and ice-cream.

10 minutes later, i reached at the cafe, it had just opened up on the ground level of this little hotel run by two lovely old ladies, the teal outside complimenting the beige wood, flooring and overall vibe of the place
lost in my thoughts admiring the variety of hibiscus trees, i get jolted back by a familiar voice calling my name, Gabiās voice,
āOhhhh! i missed you so much honey!ā i smiled, hugging her
āwhat makes you think i didnāt miss you!ā she replies, squeezing me so hard that i almost had to cough mid-hug, but not without noticing something
āGabrielle Hanes, tell me, what is that ring youāre wearing on a special little finger?ā i smiled slyly
āoh, um, Iām Engaged!! surprise!!!(?)ā she said enthusiastically but also a little unsure

after replying and liking some of the comments that had come through, i put down my phone, deciding to make lunch so that when Mason and James came back home from Work and School respectively theyās have something to eat
deciding on a simple garlic bread and pasta/salad tuoe thing, i got to work tackling all the tasks that required me having to use a knife, and within an hour and a half (and some tears) iād managed to make lunch that tasted as good as it looked, and fyi, my presentation is always godlike
anyways, after being done with lunch, i scrolled on my phone, whose fyp page was filled with edits of nobody other than Lando Norris

I woke up to the sound of ruckus from my brother Mason and my nephew James running around and what I could only assume was the living room, with my sister sister-in-law, Lia gone on a work trip to the F1 Grand Prix, I was officially the only adult in the house despite my brother being four years older than me
Getting out of bed with no knowledge of what time it was or where my phone was and why my alarm didnāt go off I walked out of my room to see Mason chasing James and the waffle iron smoking with drips of what I could only assume was batter
