This is my new favorite hangout spot. I walked here from home with a cup of tea and my watercolor supplies. A floating dock out of the reach of sun or rain floats underneath the marina. And it has friends. 😍

The beautiful, sexy Englishwoman, Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser (played by Caitriona Balfe) could have been an interesting character had she just been a skilled combat nurse during WWII. But no, that isn’t enough for Outlander, thanks to author Diana Gabaldon…When you multiply that Claire is a well-educated, bilingual orphan raised by a globe-trotting archaeologist, who falls in passionate love with one man while in a loving marriage to another, who knows potentially life-saving and sometimes life-ending medicinal qualities of plants, who makes trusted friends and mortal enemies with equal aplomb, not to mention being an accidental time-traveler bent on changing history; you have someone, the likes of whom we have never seen before on television. She is an incredibly layered and complex person who is always interesting to watch.
