"It sounds nice!"
"Of course it does! Candy. And games. Couldn't go wrong!"

"I think we should a party. Just so I can use this thing."
Stupid School || Peter&Lila
Lilia couldn’t believe her ears. “Those people exist!” Her mouth was open in pure astonishment. “How! Why? EW!”
"I don't know either! Never got it. Stupid adults trying to make me do things I don't wanna do." He shook his head. He managed to just enough to get by because he didn't want to fail but he was pretty solidly floating the line between pass/fail and that was mostly because none of the teachers wanted to even deal with him an extra year.

"I don’t think anyone should want to." she said looking over to him. "That place is kind of an intellectual wasteland."
"But people do" He wrinkled it nose. "I don't know why. It's pointless. Just glad I'm graduating this year then I'm done with it."

"I don't even want to go to school, it's so stupid." Peter complained, loudly to anyone who would listen.
"Wow that’s a really good idea Peter!" She said with a smile. She took out her phone and called her dad, she told him exactly what Peter suggested and that she would have to cancel. He didn’t seem very happy about it, but he said that it was a good thing for her to do and he hoped that she was able to make her friend feel better, and with that she said goodbye and hung up. "Oh thank you, Peter that was genius!" She said excitedly and gave him a hug. "I hate going to those awful things their always dreadfully dull."
Peter beamed happily, glad that Winnie thought his idea was going to work. He'd never had parents to fool, but he'd tricked the woman who ran the foster home and teachers more times than he could count (unless you really wanted numbers, Peter remembered each and everytime he out smarted an adult.) He ran his hand through his hair and waited for her. He hugged her back tightly when she hugged him and smirked. "Well you can totally get out of most of them for a couple week with that excuse. Go to one or two y'know to make it look good but tell your father you have plans to hang out with your mystery friend. Y'know to keep them occupied." He smirked.
"I don’t know Peter…" She trailed off. "My dad doesn’t know I have a boyfriend, I didn’t tell hi because he would have grounded me for the rest of eternity, and if I cancel on him like this he would probably kill me and you wouldn’t be making a very good impression. But then again, I hate going to dinners with dad’s co workers and their sons, it’s always the same boring thing…" She thought weighing the odds in her head. "Okay I guess I’ll call him and cancel."
"Just tell him your out with a friend then. Say... someone just broke up with their boyfriend." He smirked. "And they really need you." He was clever and the cocky little smirk he had said he was certain this would work, I mean how many father's would make their daughter seem like a bad friend?
"Well thank you, it’s nice to know that I’m good at what I hope to make my career out of." She smiled, genuinely happy that Peter liked it. Then she got a text from her dad. "Oh great." She said under her breath. "Dad has another coworker and his son over for dinner." She sighed putter her phone away. "I should probably go, my dad would kill me if I was late."
Peter's eyes narrowed a bit as Winnie's words registered. That was irritating but he also didn't want to meet her father for sake of how he'd be expected to act.
"Tell him no. Tell him your boyfriend is taking you out to dinner. That you're not going with him."

Charlie didn’t give him that much of a head start. As soon as the words registered in his mind, the quarter back chased after him. However, Charlie wasn’t known for his speed. Dodging, deciding plays, and throwing were more his thing. He almost caught up to Peter as they got to the bakery’s street.
Peter grinned as he slowed to a stop just outside the bakery. He spun around. "I win." He smirked but leaned against the door holding it open for the boy. He'd won the race so he was in a good mood.
"Thanks, but I’m probably one of the only storytellers in Talesville." She said with a small laugh. She hadn’t met any other aspiring authors in town, but she knew Peter was right, she had always been good at storytelling.
"Psssh. Even if there were a hundred stortellers you'd still be the best I bet. Most people have to write 'em down. And I don't tell stories. I make stories, so you'd have no real competition." He laughed. This time he was joking about being best. He knew he wouldn't be a good storyteller.

Charlie started towards the bakery and turned and looked at the kid. “You coming?”
"Ha! Like I'd pass up a chance for another free cupcake." He laughed. "Race you there!" He wasn't majorly athletic but Peter was quick and he had a head start.
"Well I’m certainly glad you like most of it, I think it’s my favorite story I’ve come up with so far, it’s certainly the best and first one I’ve made up on the spot."
"Yeah, it was good actually. The rest of it. My girl's the best story teller in all of Talesville!" He smirked, a bit proudly, he honestly thought she was, plus she was the only one to put up with him through an entire story.
"Well if you like that ending, that’s how you can end it for yourself. I don’t even know if I’d write any other stories besides the first one anyways." She smiled with a small shrug. She was glad that Peter seemed to cheer himself up somewhat. She didn’t think just talking about her story ideas would affect him so much.
"Nope. The way I'm gonna end it is Wendy stays with him in Neverland even if Tink and Tiger Lily are jealous. He likes Wendy and made her an offer to stay she should have stayed. But it's a good story aside from that."

"Do you know if they’re givin out any more?"
"Maybe. They had a bunch. Bet I could get a second one if I go back..."
"Peter it’s just a story, it’s not real." She said, she felt bad this seemed to be bothering him. “I had another idea, but I didn’t bring it up because I didn’t think it was my best one. But I was thinking that Peter comes back once Jane had grown up and she has her own daughter, and the daughter looked so much like Wendy that Peter decided to stay for her, but it was a silly idea really." She said with a small shrug.
"She'd have to be really special for Peter to want to stay..." He ran his hand through his hair with a little shrug. "Maybe they can all go back to Neverland, even as adults. With their son taking over Peter's place." He laughed a bit. He was just now trying to cheer himself up.
