Jungwoo stared at you, who was wearing a Beanstalk costume. He didn't even want to know how you got it or made it in this sense. It was those trees middle schoolers would use in their play but it was spray-painted fully Green with branches sticking out and your face in the middle.
You on the other hand was also not hiding away the fact that you were staring at Jungwoo as well. He was wearing a rose costume, or it seems like he was the rose itself.
He spray-painted his legs Green and attached some balloon sticks and a paper on his shoes for the 'branches' while wearing a layered skirt for the petal paired with a green shirt, the shade matching his legs.
No matter how silly you both look and how mistranslated the message of the costume was, thinking about it, you and Jungwoo still paired up each other nicely.
Okay everyone I just deleted the Jungwoo fic, which is really upsetting since I actually enjoyed writing that. Let’s see how tumblr will react to it but if anyone knows any alternatives where I could post it, please let me know. I’ll just share the link here but post it elsewhere :)

Jaemin doesn’t know if he should be happy or not. He asked for more than he bargained for when initially, he just wanted to have your number. When in return, he got his head smashed up because of Spirited Away and have you cuddle on him and taste your cookies.
Saying it now, he should be happy in an instant. But the thing is, he kinda didn’t plan the entire ordeal. He wasn’t much of a planner anyway. He was thinking of ways to get your number and the first thing that came to his mind was to get you caged in with him.
The shark tank idea was scrapped so he opted to sneak in your heavily guarded mansion. That was the only plan he had in mind, to sneak in your heavily guarded mansion.
He didn’t consider the when and only the how.
He woke up around 4 am because of his phone vibrating, seeing a text from Jeno who was asking where he was. After sending a vague reply, he saw that it was a Thursday and he, no both of you, have school in 4 hours.
“Shit.” Most probably, you would have people waking you up like the princess that you are, getting caught being in bed with you by your brother is not an option.
He slid his arm off of you, replacing it immediately by the pillow behind his back and sat up, pulling his hood over his head before opening your window and scanning his path.
Their post was just the same as last night, making it again a no-brainer to sneak out. He stepped on the ledge of the window and grab the edge of your window, lifting himself and reaching over at the rope at the roof from last night. He pulled himself out and exited through the roof, making sure his coast was clear before jumping at the neighbor’s tree and exiting through their gate.
Just as he was walking home did he remember how he still hasn’t had your number.

“Are you okay? What’s with the rush?” Aera asked, taking a seat in front of you after putting her tray filled with her lunch on the table. She was gazing at you curiously while opening the packet of chopsticks.
You barely heard Aera over the scribbling you were making at your paper. And this was only for your first, you still have a pending Physical Education Essay to make and a worksheet to answer for Social Studies.
When she tapped her chopsticks to your paper, followed by a ‘yah’ that was muffled by your food, Aera certainly got your attention then. You looked up from your paper, snapping back from reality, and only realized how it was already lunchtime. “What? What’s going on?”
“Not on me, on you! What’s happened to you?” She asked, standing up slightly and glancing at your paper. “Creative Writing? Isn’t that the assignment like 2 days ago?”
You sighed and nodded, twisting your hands and neck before releasing a tired sigh. “I was supposed to do it last night along with this other stuff.” You said and gestured towards the Two books you have on your left by the table. “But something came up and it flew out my mind.”
“This is the first time I saw you rushing for an assignment. Everything okay?” She asked, placing your paper back down in front of you delicately.
You nodded, brushing your hair back. “Yeah, club activities.” Technically, that wasn’t a lie. It was indeed a club activity.
When you were woken up by one of the maids, you panicked slightly but when you stretched your arms out, you realized how you were alone on your bed. Jaemin showcased you that night how experienced he was in the field of sneaking in people’s bedrooms, along with sneaking out.
Aera was about to say something else when a brightly colored Pink hair guy came walking, Aera even glancing up in shock when she felt a presence beside her and a hand was placed on the back of her chair. “Hey, guys.”
“Do you need anything?” You asked, trying not to come off rude but it couldn’t help. You were cranky and irritable right now. Physical Education has no right to make students write an essay.
Jaemin just chuckled at your reply, catching the wink he sent to Aera when he caught her staring, promptly making her look away from him and back to you with questionable looks. “How about you, do you need anything?” He asked, looking at your paper and the books on the side.
“I need to finish this, so if you have nothing else to say please go.”
“I actually do need something, can we talk alone?” He asked, you shaking your head immediately at this which made Jaemin’s face fell.
“I have company-”
“No you don’t, I’m done.” Aera said, placing her chopsticks to the barely touched tray of food before scooting over her chair and sliding away, giving Jaemin a fast smile before looking back at you and mouthing ‘Go’
You watched as she walked towards another table of girls of welcomed her openly, the commotion between you and Jaemin causing people to look at the both of you. “Well?”
“Fine, better be fast.” You answered, grabbing your paper and putting it inside your bag after folding it in half. You were about to get your books when Jaemin swept it already in his hands.
You sling your bag over your shoulders before standing up, standing beside Jaemin who has that teasing smile on his face before leading you out. The stares ranging from obvious and those who are trying to hide it ominous, you even passed by the table with Jeno and his friends to see they were smirking at Jaemin.
You reached the court of the school where not a lot of students are there. Though some are still there and most of them are part of the school’s varsity team.
Jaemin placed your books on top of one of the seats, away from the students, and was pretty private to have a conversation. After you took a seat and placed your bag down, you noticed how Jaemin held a finger up to you before standing up and walking to the other side of the bleacher, reaching out for something below and emerging back up with a bag.
He set it in front of you and opened it, the smell of chicken making your stomach churn. He removed two containers from the bag and placed one in front of you, even opening it up and causing the smell to open wider.
“What’s this?”
“Chicken. Well, Chicken breast. Aunt Hari said it was healthier.” Jaemin answered nonchalantly, handing you a pair of utensils as he also pulled out two bottles of water.
“Yes, idiot I know what chicken looks like. Why are you giving me a buffet?”
“If this is a buffet to you I need to talk to your brother. How can someone own a billion-dollar company and not feed their princess correctly.” He answered followed by a snicker, looking at you to see your reaction. You weren’t annoyed, but you were clearly not happy with this answer.
“I know my appearance last night wasn’t at the best timing and caused you disturbance with your stuff.” He said and motioned to the books beside him. “And you taught me stuff with the movie and all, this is me making it up to you”
You were about to reply when he took your books and placed it on his lap, moving his food aside and placing the P.E. book there and opening it at the page that instructed what type of essay you will be working on.
You watched him as he read the contents, immersed with it fully, and soon after, took a pen from his shirt pocket and begin writing on the paper. “Hey hey, what are you doing?”
“Making your paper, do you not trust me, yn?” He asked, clicking the pen close and placing it down the paper before placing his elbow on top of it and his face on his palm, looking at you.
“I- yeah. I don’t.” You said after hesitating at first.
“Well, you need to. P.E is the subject I excel at the most, I could answer this without even looking at the guide questions,” Jaemin answered smugly, earning a snicker from you. “You need to remember, I signed up for the varsity team.” He said before focusing back on the paper and begin writing.
This time, you decided to trust Jaemin and let him do your paper. Him sneaking you another glance and assured you the food he brought earlier, glaring at you when you wouldn’t touch it.
You thanked him for the food and the paper, not having the energy to argue and taking a bite from the meal. And you were thanking everything and everyone mentally for finally taking the bite.
Even if you were full, you would still make room for this. The chicken’s mixture and the texture were better than everything you ever had before, they either have a talented chef back home or Jaemin knows a really good place.
But knowing their financial status, it was a home chef.
You took a piece of the chicken and rice, that was also made well especially with the diced vegetables on the side, and stretched it out to Jaemin, the container under your hand.
Jaemin caught off guard from your actions and focus gone from the paper, look at you questionably. “Eat!”
“I already have mi-” You put the food in his mouth when you saw it was open wide enough, taking a group of diced vegetables to follow it up.
And that was how you spent your lunch period that day. Feeding Jaemin while he was making your paper. He did your worksheet too, him writing and asking you now and then if there’s a question he doesn’t know. He was in the middle of the worksheet when you opened his share of the food and begin feeding him his food as well, taking bites of it now and then since he also ate part of yours.
That day, you passed your essay and worksheet with confidence, and that night, you weren’t even surprised to see Jaemin waiting for you at your bed when you came up for dinner. Beside him, a sea of chips and cookies and his laptop. “It’s my turn to school you in MY movies.”

“Hey Peaches” You greeted to your brother, seemingly in a middle of something as he only gave you a quick, acknowledging nod. When you peered at your side, you were quite surprised to what he was doing, your brother was baking.
“Woah, are you okay?” You asked, putting the back of your hand to his forehead. You looked at Jaehyun then with genuine worry, who in return glared at you all the while he was still stirring the ingredients in the big bowl.
“I just wanted to do something for us-”
“We got his injury checked out and he’ll be on desk duty for the next 2 weeks.” Johnny announced as soon as he walked in the kitchen, holding a couple of aprons before handing one to apron.
You caught the glare Jaehyun threw Johnny but you didn’t care, and it was evident as you yourself have a glare to give Jaehyun. “I knew it! I told you to stop doing all those stupid dumb stuff, you’re not Al Pacino.” You said, hitting your brother on the arm.
“I’m fine! I just strained it or something I don’t know I wasn’t listening.” You looked at Jaehyun with disbelief, shaking your head before giving him another smack on the arm, the non-injured one but will be soon.
You helped out the two guys bake, grabbing the bowl and mixing spoon from your brother and doing it yourself while you instructed him to just heat up the oven. Johnny then just assisted you as he was finished with what he was doing.
You instructed Jaehyun to just rest but stated he wanted to be here since it was his idea in the first place. But you know better, he was staying because he doesn’t want to leave you alone with Johnny.
You know that Jaehyun knows you’re just joking with Johnny. Still, there’s a reason why he trust Johnny Seo so much, especially as a business partner. Johnny could get anyone to do what he wants if he really wanted it. Jaehyun was smart enough to not treat Johnny as someone below him.
The maids already set up the table and as you waited for the cookies, you decided to disappear from to your bedroom, instructing your brother to call you when everything is good.
You opened the door to your bedroom with all of your attention to your phone. You closed the door behind you as you continued scrolling down, reading a rather interesting article about the Terror Law in the Philippines.
You were seated on your bed and had a pillow on your lap when all of a sudden, you heard a voice speak beside you. “You really made it all the way to your bed without noticing me?”
You shrieked, causing your phone to fall from your grasp and down to the floor. You turn to your side, one of your hands stretched out to your nightstand drawer for the pepper spray when you realized it was Jaemin, looking at him with bewildered while he looked back at you innocently, a cheeky grin even on his face.
Both of your faces then grew into panic when footsteps approached the the room, ushering Jaemin to get into the covers and just as his body went under your thick blanket and you got a pillow to cover him, the door opened to reveal Jaehyun and Johnny behind him.
You saw how Johnny has one of his hands behind his back, his eyes scanning the room while Jaehyun just looked at you. “What happened to you?”
“Nothing, a bug flew and I freaked out.”
“You yelled like someone was about to kidnap you, again.”
You leaned back to the pillow which beneath that was Jaemin. “I- no. Look, I’m okay. There’s a big bug, I freaked out.” You said, seeing your phone was still on the floor so, you carefully moved and picked your phone up.
“Okay. The cookies are done.” Jaehyun announced, though he was still looking around your room, unconvinced but he couldn’t see anything wrong anyways.
“Yeah, I’ll get some in a bit.” Jaehyun and Johnny nodded, closing the door to your room. When you couldn’t hear their footsteps anymore, you turn around and lifted the covers, looking at Jaemin with disbelief.
“How did you get in here? There’s security everywhere.” You exclaimed, surpassing your voice to not alert anyone again but you couldn’t hide your emotions that much.
Jaemin removed the covers from himself and leaned back to your bed, closing his eyes and putting his hands behind his head. “Yn, if that was your security I will have to apply to be your personal bodyguard.”
When Jaemin didn’t said anything else, he opened one of his eyes to look at your direction. Seeing he still has your attention, he closed it again and made himself comfortable, putting pillows under his arms and even back. “I have so many questions.”
“You beat me there then, I only have one question.” He said, his eyes opening to look at you with amusement. “Do you know that your address is easier to locate than looking for your number? Or anyone who is willing to share your number?”
“Is that why you broke in?” You asked, standing up and checking your window. Of course, you left it unlock. Or he just pried it open from outside for some reason? Still doesn’t answer your question of how he got in, your room was located at the 3rd floor of the house. “For my number?”
Jaemin crawled to the end of the bed to face you, your face inches apart as he wore a smirk. “Yes. So, is all of my efforts into waste?”
“Yes.” You said, copying his smirk before getting all serious and removing yourself from him. You dragged a chair to the door and placed it underneath the doorknob.
Jaemin had a questioning look, which prompted you to answer. “My room doesn’t have a lock. My brother.”
“Speaking of your brother, what does he meant about getting kidnapped? Twice?!” He asked in disbelief, his voice slightly raising. Now, he changed positioned again and was facing you, his feet touching the floor and his arms on the bed.
“It’s an inside joke, it doesn’t mean an actual kidnapping.” You reasoned out, folding your arms and leaning on your door. “Back to you mister, how many girls windows did you climbed up to?”
“Why, you jealous?” He asked, grinning at you mischievously.
“You really don’t want to answer my questions don’t you?” You asked, feeling frustrated talking with him. “You haven’t even answered any of my questions. Is that why you went here? To deflect my questions?”
“I never climbed in any girls windows, usually I climbed out since I use their front door. I don’t really get invited when the parents are present.” He answered, standing up and stretching. After that, he looked back at you. “And besides, I would usually have their number.”
“Why do you want my number?” You asked, not letting his flowery words affect you.
“Okay. I was watching Spirited Away and don’t get me wrong, I love the movie and actually watched a couple more Ghibli films but, I’m really not that smart enough to dissect a film.” He explained, his playful demeanor disappearing as he explained.
You examined him first, narrowing your eyes while your arms are still crossed. “Did you really watched the film?
“Yes.”
“Hmmm”
“I only got until the middle part because I got frustrated I couldn’t think of anything else.” Jaemin said, your eyes widening to signal him to lower his voice. Jaemin getting the hint nodded, even doing a motion of zipping his lips.
“Fine, let’s watch the film together. But as soon as it’s done you’re leaving, got it?” Jaemin smiled widely at this, nodding at you enthusiastically. “Okay, I’ll just get some cookies or something then we’ll start.”

Jaemin is the type of person you like to watch movies with. He doesn’t speak or ask any questions. It was even as if he wasn’t there with how engrossed he was with the movie. Yet, you could still feel his presence. Hearing his little gasps in particular scenes.
When the movie was finished, the cookies you had was almost done, along with the milk you got. To not raise suspicions, you had to put the milk in a big glass and get two straws instead of separating it.
You closed the movie and lowered your laptop slightly, looking at Jaemin who was squinting and rubbing his eyes, the blanket draped over the both of you. You watched as he stretched, slumping back down when he was done.
“So, what did you think?
“I really just thought it was a great movie. It was cute, I like the animations.” He said with a slight pout, the milk evident around his lips.
You chuckled at his answer, earning a look from you. “There’s really still something there?”
“Jaemin, the film is about child trafficking and prostitution. The movie was literally set in a bathhouse. In Japan especially back in the day, bathhouses are known to be the prostitution place in Japan. And think about it, the visitors were Ogami, meaning male gods. The visitors were all men.” You explained calmly, seeing how Jaemin’s face changed with this information.
“The witch wore this expensive and western like clothes as well. In those type of establishments, the owners or those running the place taking too much than what they should are not new. And historically speaking, fancy and western clothes were given by American soldiers to the prostitutes.”
“Woah woa, you’re ruining the movie for me. Stop there.” Jaemin said, his sleepy and tired eyes. He put his hands on his hair, his expression extremely amusing to you.
But, you weren’t done with your fun. “When Chihiro got signed to the bathhouse, Yubaba made her change her name, a very common practice when it comes to bathhouse women. No face is a pedophile who is obsessed with Chihiro, an underage girl. When no face gets constantly refused, he would chase after her obsessively.” You said, Jaemin’s face scrunching up at the information he’s getting.
You gave him a moment to himself as he whined, then his eyes lit up. “Chihiro’s parents, they’re like paying off a debt. Don’t people do that before, they would sell their children to do stuff like those to pay off a debt and when Chihiro was finished, it represents that they debt was done.”
“See? You’re getting the hang of it!” You said with excitement, your face lighting up at this result. “Lastly, what was the color of the bathhouse?”
“Red.”
“In some studies, Red is the color to represent love, seduction, violence, danger, anger, and adventure. Which really furthers explains that the bathhouse could be used as a prostitution house.” Jaemin nodded at your words.
You chuckled at his reaction, patting his hair comfortingly. He buried his face to his hands as he went down to the pillow slowly with a groan. You continued caressing his Pink hair.
He sat straight up and looked at you. “I’m never watching another movie with you”
“Fine by me.”
“Can we watch another one though? I want to watch Howl.” You rolled your eyes at this, looking if he was serious. “Please?”
“You said you’ll go home after this movie.”
“Pleaseee. Just this once.” You were about to give an answer when Jaemin again pouted, even clutching his hands together in front of you.
“Fine. Last movie.” And like earlier, he wore a victorious smile and watched you with admiration while you looked for the film on your laptop. When you found it, Jaemin already made himself comfortable and was leaning relaxingly on your bed.
You set the laptop on the middle and when you were about to lean back, you saw Jaemin with his arms wide open. “Come on, I make a great pillow.” You didn’t know why you did it but you slumped back to his arms, even going as far to cuddle at his side.
Jaemin didn’t know you were actually going to do it. He was so taken aback that you personally had to grab his arms to put it down around you, a giggle emitting from you when you felt him suck in a deep breath.
Just like earlier, the both of you watched the movie in silence. Jaemin noticed how your hands even clutched his sweater tighter, pulling him closer to you.
When the movie ended, he realized why you were doing that, he moved a little to found you fast asleep. He knows how weird it is to stare at someone while they’re sleeping, so Jaemin looked away not long after, though he kept glancing at you.
He moved ever so slightly and turn the laptop off, putting it on the nightstand beside him. Doing all of this without waking you up, feeling pride for not waking you up.
Knowing your door doesn’t have a lock and who your brother is, Jaemin didn’t made himself too comfortable and sink deeper the bed. He moved your position so you weren’t that cramped and have a more comfortable position.
Jaemin thought he couldn’t sleep, he was just too excited and happy and- he was just happy. But, the emotions may have been too much since he still fell asleep even if he was sitting up with your headboard being his head’s anchor.
You died too early. When you died, you didn't had a job, no romantic partner, haven't even gone out to party or attend clubs, and most importantly, you didn't had any romantic partner.
Na Yuta just hit rock bottom. His band was failing hard and another member just quit as the band wasn't doing well. He was on the ledge when a gust of wind blew towards him so fast and cold that he had to take a step back. Because of this, he had time to rethink his decisions.
Since that night of the bridge, his life changed. The next day after, a fairly known recording studio wanted to sign the band, a member's cousin stepped in to become the band's bassist and a few weeks later, the album became a hit and they were now preparing for their first world tour.
Yuta couldn't believe how his life turned around in a single night, but you did.
You were wandering around your usual spot, that bridge. You were already there before you even died and now that you passed, you still go there.
When you saw Yuta, you knew he was up to no good, to himself. Before he could even move an inch when he was at the ledge, you pulled him back and since then, you have stuck with him since.
Before the band's rehearsal, all of them decided to stop by at a known fortune teller. You know, just for fun.
Everyone was laughing at everyone's fortune, especially about their love lives and everything. When it was Yuta's turn, however, the fortune teller's face fell. "You have been through a lot, you should be very thankful for your friend"
Yuta's members hearing this was making jokes, how they're "welcome" and that a meal would suffice. Yuta smiled and laughed at them.
"This friend of yours, they uhm, died when their life was just about to start. All of the luck in their life, they gave it to you." The members 'oohed' and joked, nudging Yuta and saying how his beauty was really beyond this world.
The fortune-teller then asked the other members if they could leave Yuta for a while, they oblige and bowed to her before exiting the small room to the waiting area.
"Your friend, they saved your life. Didn't they? You were about to do something really bad to yourself"
Yuta was taken aback by this. He didn't tell anyone about what he was planning and what he had almost done.
Yuta stuttered at his words, now feeling more creeped out. "Wha- how? I don't understand"
She then looks at the tea leaves again, not minding Yuta's words. She read the leaves and shook her head, looking at Yuta with a grim expression. "This friend of yours, they won't be leaving you anytime soon."
"That's fine by me?" Yuta answered with uncertainty. If it was true, that he has someone he couldn't see that's been guiding him, he wouldn't complain.
"It is fine, this friend has been extremely fond of you. However, once you betray them the consequences will be, extreme" The fortune teller said, saying the last words with a heavy sigh.
"Betray them how?" If this friend of his was really the reason behind the sudden success of his career, he wouldn't be taking chances.
"Their life was just starting when it abruptly ended, they consider you more than a friend." The fortune-teller said with unease, not looking at Yuta and only at the tea leaves.
If he wasn't creeped out before, he was now. "What do you mean?"
"If you so much as feel a ting of admiration to someone else, not only will your career turn around and become worse than before, but also your personal life. And the person you're feeling that towards to will also experience a lot of misery and pain"
You smirked while watching the scene unfold in front of you.
Maybe with this message, Yuta will finally back off from your sister.

Yunho wasn't the smartest tool in the shed. He's the most shinning one sure, but not the sharpest.
He is pretty weird. You would catch him talking to himself and claims to see and be able to ghost. But after being his friend for over a decade, you used to it.
You don't tolerate it, but it has become normal to you.
Sure you were annoyed and sometimes even creeped out with the things he said, but you never got angry with him.
That until he busted into your apartment while you were getting heated with the person you've been seeing a while, Seonghwa.
You were heavily making out with Hwa when the door to your bedroom busted open. Freaking both you and Hwa out and causing you to fall from his lap.
"THE DEAD IS COMING!" Yunho yelled, jumping on your bed who then crawled past you and to the other side, hiding on the other side of the bed.
"What the fuck-"
"What the fuck are you doing?! Yunho!" You yelled, fixing your shirt first before grabbing a pillow and hitting his head with it.
Yunho didn't flinch one bit, didn't even care what you were doing and that Seonghwa is here to witness everything. He kept hiding and was just peaking over your bed.
You turn back to Seonghwa, looking apologetic. "I'm so sorry I don't know what's happening I-" you couldn't finish your sentence as you don't know what else to say.
Seonghwa only smiled at you before nodding, glancing at Yunho momentarily before giving your forehead a kiss. "I think I should go?"
You just nodded at him, Seonghwa timidly waving ahead towards Yunho before he stood up from your bed and walked out, not even looking over his shoulder.
When you heard your front door closed, you turn your back to Yunho, and now, you weren't going to hold back.
You grabbed his ear and pulled him up to your bed, Yunho yelling at you which made you yell at him back. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING JEONG YUNHO I WILL KILL YOU!"
"Don't be too loud, the dead may hear!" Yunho said in a hushed voice, looking around in panic.
"I can't believe you right now! This is getting way too far-" Yunho's hand was covering your mouth before you could even finish your words.
Your eyes widened at his actions, fueling your anger more. In a scramble, you finally removed his hands and as you were about to say something, the lights went off.

“No! No! I’m just dreaming, this is all a dream!”
“If I am your dream, I wonder what your nightmares look like.” Before the sharp razor hands even made contact with you, you jerk away and in the process, hit your head on the bus’ window, wincing in pain and causing a chorus of laughter from those who saw.
“You really need to start working on your body clock, you were asleep for almost all of our classes earlier.” Vernon said, rubbing your head slightly after you rub your eyes, stretching a bit as you noticed your stop is nearing.
“I can’t I’ve been getting nightmares.” You answered simply, fixing your stuff and making sure everything is in your bag before standing up, Vernon following your actions as he lived close by.
“Yn, they’re just nightmares. Nothing can happen to you, they’re not real”
Your mother works at night and your dad is working abroad, causing most of your nights being spent alone. But with Vernon just living close by, your mother has practically entrusted you to the Chwe’s, which would always welcome you open arms if you need anything.
Vernon would also often come and pay a visit. There are times where he won’t, but he basically lives at your living room at this point that your mother even cleared out an entire cupboard for Vernon’s stuff.
Especially not that it’s Friday, both of you would use this time to unwind and watch movies or play games. However, there are also times where one of you would just vent to each other when the week was THAT tiring.
“I’ll be running a little late, I’ll pick up my cousin.” Vernon’s text read, one hand clutching the towel wrapped around your body while the other was on the phone. You first went to your room and sat down on the bed, before replying.
“Sure, I’ll pick the movie this time around. Will your cousin be joining us?” You sent the message, remembering how he mentioned if it’s okay to bring a plus one on Friday night events.
Before you could even stand up, Vernon replied. “Yep it’s that one. We’ll bring snacks, be there in 30 minutes.”
After getting dressed and doing all of your nightly routine, you made your way downstairs to the living room and open the tv, putting it on the news channel for a background noise, deciding to do some assignments to pass time for a while.
You weren’t listening to the tv but a specific report caught your attention. With you sitting on the carpet and inclined to the table, your head perked up at the report.
“A body of an unidentified teenager was found gruesomely stabbed in their own home. Neighbors reported seeing the body at the front door of the victim’s house. Suspecting the victim to be drunk, the neighbor approached the teenager and to his horror, the insides of the victim was revealed. Police has no leads and the questioning for witnesses is still on going.”
“That’s bad.” You mumbled under your breath, feeling shivers on your skin. Making you more alert with your surroundings.
You were about to stand up and check the doors when the photo of the house was revealed, the yellow police tape surrounding the area as multiple people were at the lawn. But that’s not what made your bones jump out your skin-
It was your house.
Not only that, but the information with the dates, it meant that the murder hasn’t even happened yet- the news was for tomorrow night, the murder is just about to happen.
“So, does knowing about your death make you feel more at ease?” You never turned your head faster than before, seeing the figure that plagues your nights sitting on the couch behind you, smirking to himself as he sharpened his razor sharp hands.
His head turns to you, making your flinch in an instant before starting to scoot back, the figure standing up as he stalked you, toyed with you. “Don’t you get a little bit tired now, yn? Just give up running and I promise I won’t have to talk your insides out.”
You screamed as his hands raises, but you moved just in time. You crawled towards the table and grab the book, managing to hit him behind the knees making the figure kneel down and when he did, you hit the back of his head using the same book.
You ran towards the front door and to your surprise, it didn’t led to outside, but your kitchen. But hearing the figure making unsatisfied grunts, you went in and closed the door behind you.
Turning around, you walked to the kitchen which eventually lead to your living room. Seeing how you were trapped in your own house made you breath heavily, knees shaking as you start backing up away slowly, before hitting yourself to someone.
You spun around and found the smirking behind you, using his hands to grab your waist and tap your cheek with it while your scrambled away from it. “Stop fighting me off yn.” He said teasingly.
Now that he was holding you close, you could see his face clearly. His face was littered with scabs, scars and open wounds that reveals the insides of his skin, though it obviously doesn’t bother him.
“Fuck you, fuck you, go die in a ditch. I won’t let you have your way with me.” You said with gritted teeth, hitting his head with yours which made his hold loose and his body went down.
If you’re really going to die tonight, you would rather die in your hands.
You grabbed his hands and stretched it out, letting out a strong yell before using it to slit your throat.
“HEY! WAKE UP!” You were screaming when you woke up, your head immediately going to the tv screen in front of you and it shows how the news channel wasn’t there anymore and was showing a reality tv show.
You turn around and yelled as the face in front of you revealed the figure you were running away from just seconds ago. You took the pillow beside you and used it to hit his head with it, sending him down to the couch as he groan.
You were about to do it again when Vernon came from the kitchen panting, water and towel on his hands. “Yn! What are you doing?”
“It was him! It was him! He’s trying to kill me!” You yelled towards him, pointing at the guy in front of you who was still groaning, Vernon not being able to move from his spot for being in shock.
You were about to hit the guy again but Vernon came rushing, standing behind the guy and catching the pillow before it landed on him again. “No! Yn stop it, that’s my cousin!” You stopped your tracks, eyes widening as the guy scooted back.
“What?”
“That’s Lee Chan, Dino! We just got here and we found you shaking while you were sleeping.” Vernon said, helping his cousin up.
You eyed Dino from head to toe, more like glared really and you didn’t even tried to hide it. They watched you as you pinched yourself, even pulling your hair a bit. You saw Vernon mumble something along the lines of ‘sleep deprived’ to Dino who nodded at his words.
Finally, you stood up, though still with precaution. And when you finally collected your calm, you put your hand out. “I’m sorry, I’m yn. I promise I don’t usually welcome people like that.”
Dino just chuckled at this before lending his hand out, a smirk on his lips when he leaned close enough for Vernon not to see. “It’s okay, I’m here now.”
