Cloak and Dagger AU Month Week One: The Slytherin and The Hufflepuff

Tandy Bowen rarely spoke. Being the daughter of a pureblooded death eater made her an outcast among her peers, but it didn’t really bother her. She liked being alone, or that’s what she told people when they asked her if she was okay. After all, Hogwarts could be a lonely place if you didn’t have friends.

However, there was somebody that Tandy tolerated. A boy she met on the train ride over to Hogwarts on her first year, Tyrone Johnson. Tyrone came from a softer upbringing. A Hufflepuff who happened to be muggleborn, if anyone still cared about that sort of thing anymore. Everyone in school knew him, the girls loved him, the boys wanted to be his friend and he happened to be among the top students. Tyrone was able to break Tandy’s tough exterior and befriended each other after a while of her ignoring him and have been together ever since. However, during a Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, the two realized that their patronus matched which so happened to be the key sign that they were meant for something deeper than friendship.
