I met an oppossum today! I’ve never gotten to be this close to my favorite animal before! To say that I was thrilled would be an understatement!! This sweet boy’s owner knew that I love oppossums and was kind enough to swing by with him he was very shy, but didn’t have any complaints!

Lol I got hit by a truck while riding my bike to campus on Monday. I didn’t break anything (that I know of), but I’m all achy breaky. I’m pretty sure my cat can tell because he’s actually laying down with me in the bed. He hasn’t done this since we lived in the apartment!

On a side note, I’ve been taking my medicine for a few weeks now. I’m not sure if it was the medicine or if it was the possibility of actually dying, but I haven’t had a suicidal thought in a few days.

My anti depressants are causing me to be super sleepy. I guess I never told my dad that I’m on them. He asked me if it was depression or something else. I couldn’t find the words to tell him that sometimes, you can’t forget that feeling of the first time someone or something made you want to kill yourself.

A mouse got caught in one of the traps at work. I didn’t have the heart to let him die of starvation next to the other mouse carcass. After a lot of deliberation with my coworkers, I decided to take him a few blocks down the road where there was a bit of tree cover and off the side of the road. I let him go free.

Gonna try take my medicine before bed. Doctor has told me it can cause funky dreams, but that’s better than all day nausea... I’ve got to get control back.

I made my first adult purchase today. I traded in my second hand car for a new car!

Why can’t my mother accept that I don’t want kids? Why doesn’t she understand that telling me that she wants a grandchild from me before a certain age is totally unacceptable? Why can’t people accept that I would rather spend the rest of my life seeing the world and learning new things?
