hard to reconcile getting older and having been on here such a long time but actually the passage of time is a blessing because in the early years of this blog my life was The Torture Chamber and every year of my adult life since then has been better than the last, so its good we all get to live a while and shed the years that came before these ones. so we can grow and grow. kindness to u forever!!!

embarrased to say i havent drawn in like two weeks aside from those doodles i did at the bar because with all my free time ive been watching the pitt and thinking about the pitt and watching emergency wilderness medical training videos because im going to be in the backcountry for a month this summer and i want to be prepared to handle injuries like my beloved characters from the pitt.

i found a children's toy digital camera left for free on the stoop and i've been using it to take pictures of random stuff in my day to day. it's very small and fun to use and the quality of the photos makes it feel like 2006. you can also play tetris on it. photos: sheep skull fragment in the zooarchaeology lab; the cemetery restoration workshop where i carve stone; our foster cat named baby.
