*Disclaimer: I’m taking the term ‘Burn-out’ kind of lightly in this post because if it’s severe you should seek out professional help!*
There are plenty posts on how to avoid getting a burnout but not how to get back on track, so I decided to make one. I’ve had a burnout for the past month which stressed me out even more and I managed to get over it so I hope I can be helpful to others!

Extra Advice
If you’re in middle of a busy school period; just stop. There’s no point in forcing yourself. Just rest and if you want, tell your teachers/parents. My parents think i’m superwoman and my teachers are snitches so i’d rather not, but if you can trust the ‘adults’, i’m sure they’ll be happy to listen to you.
Dance, sing, clean and/or scream your frustrations away. I do all of those (screaming when it’s really too much) when i’m mad at myself. I just keep myself busy with an activity that requires all my attention.
Listen to music that sound happy. That kind of music forced me to smile and not frown.
Don’t think 24/7 about what you have to do the next day or whatever. It just stresses you more and reminds you of what you still have to do.
Make a ‘priority’ list and a ‘goals’ list. Those are the only things you should sort out and focus on tbh
The moment I felt really relieved was when I was eating my favorite fruit, listening to Happiness by Red Velvet and watched the sky as I walked back home from school. I don’t know but that day was so mentally straining and doing that little thing helped me get over it. That was the day I really got over my burnout. That’s why doing those small things might help you a lot.
You can always send me an ask or start a chat with me! Good luck!!
I’m kind of on the verge of burnout - thanks for this!!!
