i’ve leveled up!

i’m 32 today :)

my car, blue betsy, wouldn’t start! she had a dead battery 🪫 we had to jump start her 🔋

in town, i picked up my free bday drink from starbies. i got an iced dubai chocolate mocha… it tasted like regular mocha to me. oh well, it was still good 😋 and free!

next, we went to taco bell. that’s what i wanted for my bday dinner. i love it so much. 🌮 🔔 ❤️ i got 2 cheesy bean & rice burritos, a side of nacho fries, a $1 medium baja blast (gotta love the happy hour prices! and you always have to get a baja) and a couple of empanadas - chocolate & salted caramel.

after that, i picked up a pack of weed gummies.. im high as i write this 😹 oh and i also picked up a pack of those trending swedish candies: bubs 🍬

my mom got me a book. it’s called the cherry tree theory by rich and rox pink. they’re married. he’s late diagnosed autistic and she’s late diagnosed adhd. this book is about their relationship and life struggles. 📖 🌸

this is what i’m currently reading. it’s called the cherry tree theory by rich and rox pink. they’re married. he’s late diagnosed autistic and she’s late diagnosed adhd. i am late diagnosed audhd (autism+adhd). this is a self-help book intended for adhd, audhd, autistics and any neurodivergent people.

i absolutely love the writing style of this book. it’s not one of those overly positive books that make me want to vomit. they’re BS. it’s funny and dark, it’s inspirational and motivational to me because the authors are honest about their struggles. it’s the same vulnerability that rox shows in her music. her stage name is røry. i love her music so much. i thought it was absurd when id heard someone say music saved their life… but now i understand it. røry’s music saved me.

they also have a podcast called late bloomers. it’s the same type of content as the book. the same authenticity and vulnerability that i enjoy very, very much. they’ll never know how much i appreciate them. i’ve been watching them for a year or so, ever since i came across their adhd content, right after i was diagnosed with it.
