Oli Joshuli, aka Ekaross's grandfather from his raen mom's side, and someone who they lost connection to after Koya's death (Ekaross's grandmother). They only managed to reconnect after EW because Ekaross finally had the help from his friends and colleagues to find him. He's been living alone for a very long time and was encouraged by his neighbors to find a new partner, but it only infuriated him (which is why he snapped at Ekaross at their first meeting).

And this does in fact mean Ekaross is 1/4 lalafell lol. It made his bones a lot denser (which helped with his fights as a teen) and affected his scale growth compared to other au ras (as in, having slightly less scales). He's only tall because of his xaela mom though.

There's a point where Igion feels like everything he's doing isn't enough to protect his loved ones. Even as a scholar or sage, he can't heal every wound inflicted. So instead he's going to take every wound.

This takes place post-EW where Igion begins his journey as a dark knight. His fear of losing his loved ones grew into frustration and anger. Something he has to learn and harness which was different to Ekaross who used it to help him cope with his past trauma.

The thing about Ekaross's hair is that it was from a fantasia accident which resulted white hair to grow in, having dark scleras, grew taller, and more aggressive scale growth. He's not complaining though. Didn't change the fact he fought so much as a teen and chipping his horns often.

Ekaross had a really bad drinking problem during the split between him and Igion (pre-ARR). Since then, Igion gets very aggressive when someone tries to pressure him into drinking.

At some point during EW Ekaross becomes okay with drinking again. Very light drinking of course, but it does surprise Igion.

ENDWALKER SPOILERS:

Ekaross hasn't visited Old Sharlayan in years and would rather go anywhere else than meet his grandfather. They don't have the most agreeable family relationship to say...

Right after Ekaross retires post-EW, he kicks out Igion to get more sun. Which also meant helping the scions out when they needed help (and meeting a bunch of new people Ekaross met already).

Dhen Fell, a viera who left his post and since then been exiled from his clan. He took up the surname Fell after his departure and never looked back. Very air headed about a lot of things, but was marked as the best fighter amongst his part of the clan.

Ekaross met Dhen on the streets and brought back the exhausted viera, but didn't realize how much an annoyance he would be at times. There are moments where it's customary of Dhen's clan to greet each other by rubbing faces, but rubbing against an au ra's horn is considered a very intimate gesture done by close people. This left both Igion and Ekaross very confused and flustered.

Two black mage outfits for Igion because I couldn't really decide on one. I'm still not too happy with either, so I might look around for something that fits him better.

Old comic of Ekaross and Igion's reunion after their 3 year split. This takes place during ARR after igion heard about a familiar WoL saving people and decided to investigate.

igion and ekaross experience a lot growing up, but they did stay together throughout it all (although at one point, they did split for 3ish years)

If ekaross was ever a sin eater, he would've been one that ate other sin eaters. his mere presence would've spread the flood's range simply from traveling around, thus also attracting more sin eaters to himself. I imagine a part of him is still vicious towards the sin eaters hence why he instinctively eats/kills them. Ekaross's domain would be in dark unlit caves and the moment someone comes in, he blinds them with a flood of light before devouring their bodies. The darkness also comforts him somewhat (related to his backstory)
