Last night marked the third time I dreamed about Zeref 0.o
It’s not unusual for me to dream about anime/manga since I obsess over it all the time. (None of them are dirty dreams though XD). Since I think about my fanfic MTOWtR a lot now because I’ve been working on it, it only makes sense I got dreams like that, right?
So I dreamed I was scrolling through Tumblr. and I came across this long Fairy Tail post with spoilers about the ending of Fairy Tail. I started reading it, and it posted screenshots of future episodes with dialogues of the scene typed under each picture. My dream self, being not too bright, didn’t realize that it can’t be possible for screenshots of episodes to be up when the manga hasn’t even reached that point.
But I read for a long time and it was pretty epic. Too bad I can’t remember most of it once I woke up now. But eventually there was a war with Ishgar and Alvarez, although Alvarez has the advantage because Zeref’s creating things like demons and stuff. There was a screenshot of a three-headed fire-breathing dragon, (It was a hydreigon from Pokemon… Weird things make their way into my dreams) that demolished a ton of soldiers. Lucy and some other people made their way past the enemy soldiers with surprisingly little resistance, and head their way into the castle.
Then there was a clip with Natsu and Zeref in a room alone in the castle, but there was no sound. It’s muted because copyright since it’s probably going to be not-yet-revealed soundtracks (?? In my dream I just sorta ignored the issue but this is how I reasoned it). Natsu looked shocked at something, but he was looking down with a pensive expression and didn’t say anything. I believe that’s when the truth is revealed.
I don’t remember anything past that, but apparently Zeref ended up good so somehow the war was resolved. The ending credits were posted as a video and again there’s no sound. On the final scene Natsu pulled a blanket over a sleeping Zeref with a smiling Mavis hovering somewhere outside the window watching them. Also I think Nalu was confirmed somewhere in the ending with Natsu and Lucy gazing into each others eyes with fireworks in the background (this part is influenced by Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun)
That was when my dream self realize that it’s impossible for the anime to animate this when the manga hasn’t even reached that point yet, and the screenshots + videos are too well done to be fan made, so I decided to search it up. The manga and anime are still the same - nothing from what I’ve seen on that post. But when I came back to the tumblr page, it was gone.
And that’s when the dream ended.
