Hey, so I am losing my mind with a million solo blogs, so I'm moving Nat over to @marvelousmysteries
“Shit.” (From Bucky)
@redxinmyledger
This shouldn't be possible.
Natasha had just thought she had a stubborn bout of the flu, but the medical team had insisted that she take a pregnancy test, 'just in case'. Never mind that Natasha was under the impression that getting pregnant was physically impossible for her, and she had told them that, repeatedly.
Well, apparently it was not the flu.
Three more identical sticks, with identical plus signs sat on the bathroom sink behind her.
"I don't..." she looked to James, trying to gauge his reaction.
"How the hell did this happen?"
"You can start looking if you want. We have some time, though. And they'll outgrow the newborn clothes pretty quickly. At least, that's what happened with Clint's kids." Nat paused, thinking for a moment.
"You're cute getting all excited about this."
He grabbed an egg roll and stuffed it into his mouth, quirking an eyebrow at her. “Cute? I’m not cute, Natalia. Dangerous, maybe. Hot and sexy, for sure. But I don’t think I can be considered cute.”
He pulled her back into his arms and kissed her forehead. “But if you insist. Here, try one of the egg rolls. They’re really good.” He let her go and reached for one of the takeout containers.
"You are all those things, but you're also cute." Natasha smirked a little as she said it. She was nervous about the future, but seeing how excited he was already was just so adorable and made her melt.
"Can you pass me the sweet and sour chicken, please?"
James passed her the container of sweet and sour chicken, but not before snagging a bite for himself. “Yeah, okay. But only for you. Don’t want Sam to know I’m a big softie when it comes to my baby mama.” He kissed her cheek, then grabbed another egg roll.
"Sure." Popping a piece of chicken in her mouth, Natasha rolled her eyes.
"Your secret is safe with me." In reality, anyone with eyes could see that they both loved each other deeply, once they're child was born, it would be even more obvious.
"You're so good to me."
He grinned and took another bite of his food. It was already obvious how much he loved her, but no one but Natasha knew just how soft and tender he could be.
“You and the baby.” He slid his hands up her shirt and rested them on her flat stomach. “You deserve to be treated like a goddess, Nat.” He kissed her cheek. It was true: she deserved so much more than life had given her.
"Your hands are cold!" Nat whined though she didn't pull away, leaning into Bucky, he was so warm like he was a human heater.
"You're going to spoil me," She said, taking another bite of her food.
"Though, I won't argue that I am in fact a goddess."
James nuzzled her neck. “Oh? I thought you liked my hands on you. That’s how you got pregnant in the first place.”, He teased, kissing her cheek. Nevertheless, he took his metal hand out from underneath her top and grabbed his food with it.
“Of course you are. The goddess of beauty. Or red heads. Or…something along those lines.” He laid his chin on her shoulder. “Do you think the baby will have my eyes?”
"God, I hope so." So much was unknown at this point, but the mental image of a child with Bucky's eyes and her coloring was adorable.
"I hope they have your laugh too, and that they have you wrapped around their little finger from the moment they're born. She leaned her head against his shoulder.
"You're going to be a good dad."

"You causing trouble, Baby?" (Bucky)
“No, ma’am. I’m behaving myself.”
"Better." Nat feigned looking around like someone might be watching them. Before motioning for Bucky to come close enough, she could whisper in his ear.
"We're going to hack J.A.R.V.I.S. inconvenience Tony a little, what do you say?"
He came over to her, taking advantage of the moment to wrap his arms around her waist. A slow grin spread across his face as she whispered her plan into his ear. “I like that idea. It’ll drive Stark crazy. Let’s do it.”
Grinning, Natasha grabbed his hand and pulled him to the stairwell, JARVIS ran the elevators, so the stairs was their best bet to getting into JARVIS' databank.
"Think that fancy arm of yours can pry open the door?" She asked as they walked downstairs.
"You still alive, Baby?"
"Certainly doesn't feel like it. ." Bucky gave an agonized moan as he rolled over onto his side. They'd had been on a particularly dangerous and exhausting mission the day before and quite frankly, they were lucky to have it made out there alive and in one piece. The serum running through his veins did absolutely nothing to help him feel better, nor did it help with the pain he was in. He felt like hell and he was almost certain he looked the part.
"Soon, Baby, promise." Nat stood stealing a quick kiss.
"You stay here, try to relax, I'm going to go have a chat with Stark." Standing she paused for a moment before speaking again.
"I love you, you know."

"I can feel you staring at me."
"Do you ever wonder if we would have ended up together if we met back in the forties?" (Bucky)
He looked up from the book he was reading, brows furrowing as he contemplated an answer. “Sometimes. I’ve come a long way from the man I used to be, though. If we had met, I wouldn’t have dated anyone else. I was quite the ladies man back in the day.”
Yelping in surprise when he bit her hip, Nat smiled and reached up and grabbed the headboard when he told her to hang onto something.
"Roger that, Sarge."

"I don't think their ears have developed quite yet, but that doesn't mean that you can't still talk to them. It's adorable."
Nat played with his hair as she grabbed a container of takeout.
"Are you going to sit there and chat with the jelly bean or are you going to eat dinner with me?"
"Do you ever wonder if we would have ended up together if we met back in the forties?" (Bucky)

When he kissed the scar Natasha’s breath hitched. Shivering as his voice rumbled against her skin.
"You didn’t have a choice." She didn't blame him for Odessa, not since getting her memories of him back.
"It wasn't your fault."

"I'm right where I want to be right now, Baby." Reaching for him, Nat grabbed his wrist and redirected his hand to where she wanted him.
"I want you to play with me."
He grinned down at her, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “Mmm. Me too. Although I do like being under you sometimes.” He leaned down and kissed her, letting her guide his hand where she wanted it.
“Play what with you? Battleships? Chess?”, He teased, running his hand up her thigh. He leaned down and kissed her again, pushing her legs apart so he could settle between them.
"Smart ass," Nat smirked his hands were on her thighs, so close to where she needed him yet still so far. Natasha wouldn't beg, though. She was pretty stubborn.
"You're such a tease, Barnes!"

"I don't believe in fate, but maybe a part of her knew you hadn't met me yet." Maybe all this was meant to be, you and me together, with a baby on the way." She reached for his flesh hand and kissed his knuckles.
"I keep thinking about their little heartbeat. They're strong, like their daddy, I have a good feeling about this."
“I think she knew. She was a wise woman.” He smiled as Nat took his hand and kissed his knuckles. “I miss her. She would’ve loved you.”
He rested his chin on her shoulder and put his hands on her belly. “It still seems crazy to me that there’s a way to hear a baby’s heartbeat before they’re even born. But maybe that’s just because I’m old.” He laughed and kissed her cheek.
The doorbell rang. Their food was here. James groaned. He was comfortable with Nat in his arms, but she and the baby needed to eat. “Be right back.” He kissed her, then got off the couch and went to get the food.
Nat laughed when he called himself old. He didn't look old at all. Still, he was old enough to be a grandfather.
"You're going to be a great dad." When the doorbell rang, Nat sat up so he could get up and waited for him to return with their food.
She loved this man, and while it was still unclear how this happened, she was glad that she was pregnant with his baby.

The rendezvous point was remote, just over the border in Belarus. Natasha had been told to help the Americans. If she didn't, they'd probably end up dead.
The trucks carrying the Americans pulled up and killed the engine. It was a small team, so there were only three transport trucks for the men and their gear.
One of them, a big man in a bowler hat, got out of the lead truck and laughed at the sight of Natasha.
"Hey, Barnes, are we in the right place? Where's the team?" He called as Natasha approached.
"I'm afraid there's no team, just me. Which one of you is my contact?" Natasha asked, her American accent clearly surprising the one in the bowler hat.
"Yeah, we took the chance to eat something on the way here." Bucky nodded, but unlike the others, he hadn't gotten as much to eat as the others did. Not more than was absolutely necessary. Hadn't felt the need to do so ever since his escape from Krausberg.
Giving in to a new habit he'd picked up thanks to that bloody war, he fumbled for the pack of cigarettes in his pocket before offering one to her.
"Not many women to be found out here at the front lines." He pointed out as he lit his own cigarette. "How'd you end up here anyway?"
"That would be because some governments see women as weak and fragile, even though historically women make the best spies." Natasha said, accepting the cigarette.
"I'm serving my country, just like you."
