Nobody knows that from where the word “Nepal” originated but many nepalies people things that it is named after a sage called “Ne” who lives in penance place “Katmandu” the capital of Nepal, and many of things that the word “Nepal” originated from Sanskrit word “Nepalaya” which means the base of Mountains. But no facts specified that from where the word originated.
Nepal is the only country of South Asia which was remained unruled by britishers or any other countries and that’s why they never celebrates there independence day because they never slaves from any country.
Every country has there own flag which shows patriotism through a symbol on a rectangular cloth or paper. National flag of any country is an identity of there own that other can easily identifies them. Flags of every countries in this world is rectangular in shape but it is totally different in case of Nepal. Nepal is the only county in the world which don’t have there flag in traditional rectangular shape but made up by two single pennons which is of triangular shape known as double pennons. It is crimson red in color and the borders of blue color. Till 1962 it has human face at upper part of the flag but it was removed to modernize the flag.
