Here's a zippy little presentation of the data we've gathered from you so far... We'll keep updating and refining as we build up a better quality data set, but here's the first draft which pulls together the data from the first 12 days of the project.
You may have read in the Guardian and WalesOnline that we popped along to ARK's Future Cardiff event at Cardiff Arts Institute this week. We took along a quick presentation we'd put together showing the data that we'd collected so far from all your tweets, posts and texts, and gathered more information through a cute paper exercise (pictured) which many of the Create Cardiff quiz contestants filled.
Please do keep sending your views on your Cardiff loves and hates to us - since the event we've been busy building a better database in which to keep and organise all your comments, and we intend to continue to gather views both digitally and at local events to build up a clear picture of the Cardiff experience.
Huge thanks to Spike at Cardiff Arts for the hospitality and moving of furniture, and to all at ARK for allowing us to tag onto their event. Cheers guys!

One Cardiff resident's idea of parking. I see this kind of thing all the time!
Riverbanks
Every other city I can think of, both in the UK and aboard, they make a big thing of being able to eat and drink on the banks of their main river - on wide pavements, broadwalks, beer gardens etc. Apart from the NosDa hostel, there is absolutely nowhere you can do this on the Taff - I think that Cardiff is really missing out. I know we have the Bay, but. I'm gutted that I never got to go to the 'Inn on the River' [Grangetown] - it was shut before my time [ and has now been turned into, wait for it, luxury apartments ] [ my hatred of yuppie flats is another story ]. There are a couple of places that are close to the river, Mochyn Du, Callaghan’s, some community centre in Gabalfa where the fishermen hang out, but they're not On the river. Plenty of unutilised land near Cardiff Central, by the brewery, or back of the cricket stadium . . . . . . rant over !
