What's it Mean to have a tattoo today?

Whether you have a piercing, or your tattoo is an image of a cat, a teardrop, or an image God himself, if made visible, people who don’t have them or agree with them or their concept are going to unconsciously perceive you in a negative light. It doesn’t matter what field or industry you’re in, (unless you’re in the tattoo artist industry), tattoos and piercings are made to be identified as unprofessional in today’s society. Studies and research conducted on the subject have only been able to confirm the negative correlations that are associated with having body modifications. Therefore, if you have any, you will be associated with those negative correlations!!!!

I my self will admit to having a tattoo, and a few piercings, those of which were placed to not be made visible at all times, and my reasons for wanting them falls right into the statistics.

The percentages of medical students across both schools that knew all the risks of having body modification done were rather low, further tainting the credibility of intelligence among those who have them. Outsiders also may conclude that the reliability of medical students with tattoos and piercings is lesser of those who don’t have them.
