Concrete Bridge
Medic and Kodiac
There is something satisfying about shooting dogs while they play. They are so frenetic that it is hard not to end up with a bunch of crap shots but every now and then you capture the motion and subject in just that right moment.
Skull Wreath
Mounted Police
San Francisco Park Police on patrol during fleet week.
Golden Gate Bridge
This is one of the first thing I wanted to do with my Canon 50D when I got my tripod. Now that I'm a little better, and have more stuff for the rig, I'd like to back on the right evening and recreate this shot.
Mossy Tree
Some years back we hiked Steep Ravine in the Marine Headlands. It was so lush the trees were coated in moss.
I thought I'd throw a little flashback to the Sony Cyber Shot.
Cookie Army
One of the few photos that developed on my Pentax's most recent roll.
Counting Seconds
I need to check my notes but this looks like it was a four-second exposure.
I was working on a series of macro (or near macro) shots of things around my house as a prelude to a more focused project with my Pentax and 70-210mm Vivtar lens. It took me a while to get through the photos I wanted, and half of the roll was used quite recently on a blue heron hunting.
Well, of the 24 photos I took, only six developed - and not one of the heron.
Looking at the negatives, I can't figure out any pattern as to which photos developed and which didn't. Perhaps my notes will reveal more (could be light meter issues) but I think this may mark the beginning of the end for my Pentax as a member of the rotation.
My Canon systems work without a hitch and, for the analog work - where reliability is a major concern - that makes all the difference. Still, the Pentax is my first camera. It will be hard to let it fade away.
Froggie!
Cool frog at the California Academy of Science posing on a leaf for me.
Shot on Fuji Film ISO 100 color with a 50mm f/1.4 on a Canon Elan 7n.

Rusty Wheel
Taken on the Avila Beach Pier (California) around Thanksgiving time.

Creole Seating
Taken at the Laura Plantation.
Pair of Fords
They had a couple of beautiful classic fords at Oak Alley Plantation. I love the non-standardized hood ornaments that they used to have.
Water Lily
This is the nicest water lily I've ever seen. I'm glad my 50mm lens did it justice. Taken at Oak Alley Plantation.
Louisiana Dragonfly
Strolling
Photo of my brother and nephew on a hot day in San Francisco.
P.S. I'm back from vacation so I should get back to my regular schedule.
