Anotha' thing I felt compelled to draw as soon as I heard Look to Windward. By the way, Look to Windward is a book by Iain M. Banks.

Do you guys want to talk about how the esoteric significance of the eclipse is that of a time outside of time?

It's the suspension of history that happens during a ritual - the ritual being the way by which mortals re-enact divine archetypes. Or something like that.

This was a very clear mental image I got the first time I listened to Emergence, in 2025.

I was on an art retreat in the mountains and some friendships had just fallen apart. I wasn't in a good place, by any means.

So anyway, this song made me feel better. I locked in and sketched some stuff. Okay, A LOT of stuff. Some of those sketches turned into fully painted pieces after some time :)
