Another blog that interests me
The blog "Anxiety is stressing me out" really interests me and relates to my life. Being a Freshman in college you are faced with many new stresses and anxieties. Figuring everything out on your own, not having your parents to be there to help, adjusting to bigger work loads, adjusting to much harder school work, balancing a social life and school, staying healthy, living in a smaller space, and many other stresses. College can be even harder for people who already have bad anxiety. This topic relates to my life because I suffer from bad anxiety, and testing anxiety which make college a little more difficult for me.
Three Facts that relate to my life
1. "Skip class because of anxiety caused by skipping too many classes"
This relates to my life because when i skip one class i often end up skipping more classes because I am stressed that I will already be behind. You think its okay to skip one class but then it turns into a routine and you fall way behind, just causing yourself more stress and anxiety.
2. "Being a perfectionist is my own neurotic issue, and I need to work on that"
A lot of people with anxiety problems have problems with trying to be a perfectionist. I know this is the case with myself, I always put a ton of pressure on myself to be perfect and have perfect grades and sometimes that will only cause you more anxiety if you don't succeed.
3. The 75 simple pleasures
Relate to my life because I agree with a lot of them. Writing a list of things you like and that make you happy can help alleviate some of your anxiety. People should always remember what we have in life to help things get a little easier. There are many things in life that can make you feel happy and relieve your stress.
