A red brow of hers lifts up, intrigued, as her eyes further glare into the boy’s faded blues. She was testing him, seeing just how far he would go to challenge her. Apparently not very far, as he quietly meddles with a strap and curls his fingers as tightly as he can.
She was in a grumpy mood, so maybe him resisting a cheerful environment in her presence was the best idea.
"— Right." A nod towards the stranger as her arms drops to her sides. "What’s the purse for?"
Noticing her ogling his fidgeting, he quickly stuffs his hands in his jacket pockets as casually as possible. He didn't need her pointing out just how uncomfortable he was, nor was it necessary to call his bag a purse. Not that he was going to snap on her like some men would have, but his brows still bow in disappointment.
"..It's a satchel." Containing his sketchbook, some pencils and one of his binders. It was larger than any purse he had seen, so her comment didn't make much sense."And it has my school things in it, thank you very much."
