He wasn’t sure how to make it believable. What were things actual Spies did? Does Spyper do those things? “Well… Heavy and Spy… explore…? We find strange thing sometimes.” That was something he remembered doing with Spyper usually but maybe some Spies went exploring too? Everyone had a distinct personality sometimes. “…Spy is nice! Da! Spy likes hanging out with Heavy when he is around.”

Though, that was only true for Spyper.

Heavy seemed like he wanted to say more but he keeps his mouth shut after that. Maybe the Medic would believe him.

"That sounds quite nice. I'm happy for you." Medic hums.

He was trying to be as friendly as possible without falling into uncanny territory... hopefully he was doing alright. Though, Medic wasn't lying when he said he found delight in hearing about Heavy and Spy's friendship(?). It was nice to know the humans got along with each other for once, all the carnage and death gets... a little stale after some time.

He never knew Heavy travelled, though. That was an interesting piece of information. Medic reaches down and fishes out RED Spy's file, and opens it. His priority were the unknowns, then the techy ones... like Medic and Engineer. Soldier, Demo, Scout, Heavy, and Sniper tended to float around with similar information, so they're on third priority...

"What are these... strange things you speak of?" He asks, scanning through the file a tad too quickly and fishing out another one, "Places? People? Animals? Ah, feel free to stop me if I'm overstepping, I can't help my curiosities sometimes." Medic chuckles, slightly sheepish.

How the hell was he going to explain about the things Spyper and him saw? He starts to fidget with some of the pieces on Mr. Toastovich now, sweating.

“Spy and I… went to strange place once… very weird… we met weird people… they nice.” That didn’t sound weird, right? He wasn’t going to try telling the Medic that he accidentally learned the concept of teleportation to get them there.

Heavy was doing a terrible job and he knew it. Ph, he wished Spyper were here right now.

There was a brief silence as the gears in his head turned.

“…Labs?” He scratched his chin. Heavy didn’t see why not. Maybe the RED team here was friendly and would let him in… if their Heavy wasn’t around.

It was a 50/50 chance usually.

“Heavy does not… mind coming with Medic… Spy… will not be back in while.” The giant was still avoiding usage of Spyper’s name, firm in his fib.

Medic grins with delight. It was meant to be a small, appreciative smile... but facial expression settings are facial expression settings. "Wunderbar! Then come, meine freund!" He gestures with a flourish for the big man to come follow him, walking towards the lab and pushing open the doors like he owned the place.

It was empty (thankfully). Medic struts over towards the cabinets, opening one and looking through them. He wonders what the relationship between this Heavy and 'Spy' was like. Would it expose him to prod a little..? He's so curious... Friendships between Heavy and Spy classes wasn't something it commonl- he. HE commonly saw. Stay in character.

"Heavy, did you have plans with Spy?" Medic asks with a light hum, "Not that you have to tell me, of course. I was just curious... Spy doesn't seem like a very approachable man, ja." He chuckles lightly.

A poor RED Heavy with a tin pot on top of his bald head seemed to be running from something, his boots pounding against the dirt as he desperately tried to put as much distance between himself and an approaching pursuer as possible.

Behind him, came the unmistakable sound of a furious battle cry followed by the stomping of somebody entirely fueled by spite.

“YE THINK YE CAN SAY NAE TO DEMOPAN?! YE’LL GET A PAN CLATTERED RIGHT OFF YE SKULL!”

Karma, who was aurafarming ontop of something not too far away, immediately snapped to look at the commotion. After a few more moments of observation, he teleported a few feet infront of Intelligent Heavy, hands on his hips. (He was a little bit off to ghe side, as to not get ran over. He has learned his lesson about that the hard way a few times)

Heavy skidded to a stop the instant he caught Karma appear. Even with the heavy breathing from sprinting around, the gentle giant still wore his usual sunny grin.

“Heavy is happy to see friendly face!”

Behind him came a clang!

Demopan’s frying pan had smashed into a boulder.

He flinched.

“…Heavy is… little less happy about that part…”

Heavy quickly stepped behind Karma, using him as an extremely polite shield.

“Could Karma… maybe assist Heavy…?”

"Yes!" Karma nodded, very enthusiastic about helping-- as always.

Karma didn't mind being used as a shield, not at all. Then, he started walking towards where he assumed Demopan was. Squinting as he looked around, he didn't see Demoman, eliciting a soft grumble under his breath. Then, like two seconds later, he turned back towards Intel, grinning before teleporting himself and Intelligent awhile away. (Demopan had been in the middle of absolutely pummeling the pan at them both before they teleported away)

They hadn't teleported too far, but far enough.

"Would you like him to apologize to you?"

Karma inquired, adjusting his cross-body belt idly, his lip slightly poked out as he focused on adjusting. His brow was slightly furrowed as he brushed his coat flat aswell. After preening for like 3 seconds, he looked back at Intelligent.

He thought about it.

For several seconds.

Heavy scratches his chin before folding his arms.

“Heavy thinks… no.”

He shook his head.

“Heavy does not think Demopan should apologize. Heavy… understands why Demopan upset… I did not agree to trade offer… maybe Demopan has no customer.”

Meanwhile, the BLU Demoman was now interrogating a signpost, apparently convinced it had hidden his quarry before charging into it. “COWARDLY WIZARDRY!”

"Oh, Alright!" Karma paused, a soft 'hum' sound quietly vibrating from his throat as he looked aside.

"Say, What all do you do in your freetime?"

Karma inquired, looking back towards Heavy, his lower lip slightly poked out. He scratched his chin a little bit as he stared, eyes still unervingly huge.

"I have, recently, been blessed with more time to myself by god," He pressed his palms together in a praying notion momentarily, "and I need ideas, if you don't mind."

“Oh! Hmm…” Heavy’s eyes lit up. “Heavy does many things!” He began counting with his fingers.

“Heavy likes making things! Though sometimes Heavy is not sure how Heavy make them usually…” The gentle giant laughed good-naturally, holding one finger.

“And… Heavy likes seeing what happens…” Another finger shot up before he lower it. “…WAIT that is not really hobby,” He admitted, smiling innocently.

“AHA! Heavy forgot mention that Heavy likes traveling with Spyper! Spyper is not here though so Heavy is alone. We wander, meet people, find strange thing… is fun!”

Karma nodded along, mentally writing this down. After a second, a flash of light appeared in his hand, and a pen spawned. He wrote those things down on the palm of his hand.

"Oh, Spyper? I remember him. And thank you, Intel! Would it be too much to ask to see the things you make?" Karma asked, looking genuinely curious, his eyes wide as hell, but in a friendly manner. (gmod stare)

“Heavy does not know yet. Maybe Mr. Toastovich makes sandvich.”

Mr. Toastovich emitted a tiny whirr before ejecting a charred slice of toast.

An awkward smile spreads across his face.

“See? Progress. I think is nice to have little partner around while…” He trailed off for a moment, smile fading. “…until Spyper come back…”

His eyes widen as if he had confessed to something.

“AH– Heavy means… RED Spy.” Heavy scratched the back of his neck before adjusting the position of the pot on his bald head.

“Easy to… mix up name in head… sometimes…”

The appliance in his possession gave another ding, as if agreeing with the correction. He patted it affectionately.

“Until then, Mr. Toastovich keeps Heavy company. We go on walks. We do… science… Erm… mostly walk though.”

Medic hums with amusement and curiosity, returning Heavy's awkward smile with a welcome one. "Mr. Toastovich seems like a wonderful little thing."

At the mention of 'Spyper', Medic files the name away to look into later. He doesn't register the nickname as an alternative for RED Spy and Heavy seems to be displaying a bit of dishonest behavior. Not that Medic will point out- it'd be hypocritical, wouldn't it?

...Hm. If this Heavy belonged to this RED team... then he would know where things are, wouldn't he?

"Such facinating science. I'm sure our hard-hatted friend will be quite interested in your creation!" The doctor rubs his chin. "I'd love to hear more about it myself, but I need to head to the labs...." He shakes his head lightly and sighs, mourning the seemingly inconvenient timing. "I don't suppose you'd want to follow me there, ja? Wouldn't want to get in the way of your waiting for Spyper." He pushes his glasses up a little.

Humans tend to be more open to suggestions when it is presented as more of a choice than a request... or at least, the ones he's met do so. It's a little difficult differentiating between requests, choices, assumptions, and suggestions though. He hopes he's correct, but the patterns of all four may vary and end up similar to one another.... argh, why can't dialogue be simpler...

Heavy stiffened upon feeling something collide into him, grip tightened around his absurd contraption that seemed like combo of a toaster with wires, a bicycle horn and what might have once been a coffee grinder bolted onto the side.

“Oop!”

His head tilted down at what he assumed was this team’s Medic, immediate concern etched in his expression.

“Oh… Doktor! Is Doktor okay?” His concern shifts to glee. “Da! Taking… walk!” He proudly held up his appliance. “Also taking Mr. Toastovich for fresh air.”

The machine gave a cheerful ding! for no apparent reason. Heavy nodded as if this explained everything.

“He likes sunshine.”

"Ja, no harm done." The medic reassures with an unsettling grin that should have been a comforting smile. He stands up and pats himself off, making sure to get the dust off his coat. "Mr. Toastovich?" He asks, looking towards the modified appliance and...

Oh... Oh. It was like looking at Frankenstein's monster. A bit of body horror for the... well, no, he's human right now. Human. Stay in character.

Medic hid hid mild horror behind a gaze full of wonder. "A creation of yours, ja?" He tilts his head, "Sunshine... ah, do they run on solar power? What do they do?" The doctor curiously prods, hands folded behind his back and standing proper.

Medic, having stolen his RED counterpart's clothes, wandered around the outside of RED base trying to find a path in and to the medical wing. He needed to get ahold of this particular team's files, for disguise purposes. Rounding a corner, he-

THUD.

-fell on his ass like a loser after bumping into what felt like a brick wall. His glasses clattered onto the ground.

"Oof-" Medic made a noise as he fell backwards, squinting up at the large man he had walked into so gracefully. "Ah... Heavy?" He pats around the dusty ground in search of eyewear he does not actually need. Logically, it should be fine for him to figure out who it was even without his sight, Heavy had a distinct silhouette that was very easy to tell apart from the other mercs.

...Hm, does this team's Heavy look like that?

"Apologies, I did not see you." Medic chuckles lightly, putting his glasses back on. "Taking a walk as well, ja?"

RED BASE - EVENING.. (open rp)

it was a nice quiet evening in the RED base. assistant a.k.a zikki was sitting in a spawn room, completely silent without moving a muscle..it almost looked like he was holding his breath. he couldn't move..he just couldn't, he was too scared, he was seeing things..and he was sure they were real, he could feel their presence, their look fixated on him..and he couldn't do anything about it. he had seen them multiple times, but it was never this intense, never this real..he panics..he doesn't know what to do, if he should run or continue to sit there and do nothing. “should i scream?..should i move?..s-should i do something?..” his mind keeps getting worse and worse, asking himself the same questions over and over again he closes his eyes for a while..and starts counting to 10.

“one...two...three.. ” he pauses... the same heavy feeling of being watched still here..

“four..five..six..”

he breathes heavily..

“seven..eight..nine..”

he pauses..not saying ten. he takes a long and deep breath..opening his eyes slowly. nobody..nothing was there! he celebrates silently in his head, but the slight feeling was still there. he was now more calmer, more relaxed

he decides to get up to go out and get some fresh air..the RED base was really really quiet it was almost scary. as he's about to leave, he takes a quick glance behind just to check..because..what if someone or something is actually there?...

he steps outside, his moves quiet..almost completely silent. it was dark outside, but that's how he likes it, he loves being alone.

he looks around and sees no one..so he decides to just go wherever his legs will take him.

While he didn’t enjoy nocturnal travel, it was the only way he’d avoid that… angry BLU Scottish trader. The gentle giant sits outside of the RED base, swallowing big chunks out of his sandwich.

He hoped the RED team here was… somewhat more considerate and generous than the last base he was at. Maybe he could pass off as a normal Heavy here.
