Pt.18
The next morning, sunlight filtered softly through the blinds. Y/N stirred, finding herself trapped in the heavy, warm embrace of Namjoon’s arms. Before she could fully wake up, his phone on the nightstand buzzed continuously.
Namjoon groaned softly, blindly reaching for it and blinking open his eyes. A sleepy, dimpled smile spread across his face as he looked at the screen and turned it toward her. "Look at this," he murmured, his morning voice deep and raspy.
[Bangtan💜] Group Chat
Hoseok: Y/N-AH!!!! Good morning!! Hope you rested well! ☀️ Studio invite stands!
Taehyung: Hyung, don't steal her. Y/N, art gallery at 2 PM? I will pick you up. 🎨
Jin: Yah, let her breathe! She is probably exhausted from rescuing my dishes from Namjoon. Good morning Y/N! 🍲
Yoongi: The dinner was good. Y/N, let's talk more about that intellectual property law case next time.
Jimin: Have a beautiful day Y/N-ah! We are so glad you're ours now~ 🥰
Jungkook: Welcome to the chaos noonim!! 🐰✨
Y/N hid her blushing face in Namjoon’s chest, her heart melting as his deep chuckle vibrated against her cheek.
Three days later, the quiet apartment was filled with the nervous energy of anticipation. Namjoon was at the Hybe studio working on a new track, and Y/N was pacing the living room floor. Suddenly, her phone rang. An official corporate number.
Her heart hammered as she answered. “...We are absolutely thrilled to offer you the Senior Associate position at our firm, Miss Y/N.”
Hand over her mouth, she thanked them, hung up, and immediately dialed Namjoon. He picked up on the first ring. "Hey, beautiful, everything okay?"
"Joonie..." her voice cracked with emotion. "I got it. I got the job."
A loud crash echoed through the line, followed by Namjoon's ecstatic shout. "Yes! I knew it! Give me one second—" She could hear him yelling to the producers in the room, "She got it! My girl got the job!" He came back to the phone, breathing heavily. "I am so incredibly proud of you, Y/N. I'm coming home early tonight. Let’s celebrate."
By 8:00 PM, the apartment smelled heavenly of rich, savory Galbi-jjim (braised short ribs) and a bubbling pot of Doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew)—all of Namjoon's ultimate comfort foods.
The click of the front door lock made Y/N turn around. Namjoon walked in, his eyes lighting up the moment he saw her. In his hands, he held a stunning bouquet of her favorite flowers and a small, ridiculously cute brown teddy bear wearing a tiny celebratory ribbon.
"For the most brilliant lawyer in Seoul," he beamed.
Y/N didn't even care about the gifts; she ran straight into his arms, wrapping herself around him. Namjoon caught her easily, burying his face in her neck as they shared a deep, breathless kiss filled with pure relief and joy.
They sat cross-legged at the table, Namjoon eagerly taking his first bite of the home-cooked meal. He let out a dramatic hum of satisfaction. "Ah, Y/N, this is amazing. You completely outdid yourself."
"You deserve it for working so hard," she smiled, pouring him some water. "I'm just so excited to finally start working. I love the law because it gives a voice to people who feel completely helpless against giant systems. To analyze a complex problem and actually fix someone's life with logic... it’s the best feeling."
Namjoon watched her, his eyes full of profound admiration. He reached across the table to squeeze her hand. "You're going to change lives, Y/N. Hearing you talk about it makes me realize how similar our passions are."
"How so?" she asked softly.
Namjoon leaned back, a thoughtful look crossing his face. "With music, I try to give people a voice, too. But being a leader... it’s different. At first, it felt like a heavy armor I had to wear. I thought I had to be perfect, to never break anything or make mistakes. But now? I realize being a leader just means being the steady ground for the people I love. It’s about listening, absorbing the pressure so the guys can shine, and moving forward together. When I see them succeed, or when a fan says our words helped them survive a dark night... that's when the weight of leadership feels like the greatest honor in the world."
He looked at her, his dimples cutting deep into his cheeks. "And now, I get to be the leader of our little team right here, too."
A deep crimson blush crept up Y/N’s cheeks at his words, her heart fluttering wildly against her ribs. She looked down at her plate for a second, overwhelmed by how deeply she cared for this man, before looking back up into his warm, steady eyes.
"I love you, Joonie," she said softly, her voice thick with genuine emotion. "So much."
Namjoon’s expression softened completely. The fierce, confident leader of the world’s biggest band melted away, leaving just the man who adored her. He reached across the table, taking her hand in his and rubbing his thumb over the back of her knuckles. "I love you too, Y/N. More than I can put into words."
After they finished cleaning up the kitchen together, laughing and talking more about her upcoming first day at the firm, Namjoon looked out the floor-to-ceiling windows. The city was glowing, and the night air looked crisp and inviting.
"Hey," he said, turning to her with a boyish grin. "Do you want to go for a night walk? We could head down near the Han River."
Y/N froze for a fraction of a second, a sudden wave of anxiety tightening in her chest. The Han River was a public hotspot. Even late at night, people were always around. "Right now?" she asked, her voice dropping to a nervous whisper. "Joon, what if... what if someone sees us? What if the media or fans spot you? I'm just scared of what could happen because of who you are."
Namjoon immediately noticed the worry in her eyes. He stepped closer, gently placing his hands on her shoulders to ground her. He gave her a reassuring, dimpled smile that instantly made the world feel safer.
"Hey, don't worry, beautiful," he murmured, his voice low and soothing. "We will just wear caps and face masks. I’m an expert at hiding in plain sight, remember? Nobody is going to ruin this night for us. I've got you."
Relief washed over her as she looked at his confident expression. Nodding, she smiled up at him, ready to take on the city by his side.
A few minutes later, they stepped out into the crisp night air. Namjoon had pulled a dark beanie low over his forehead and wore a simple black face mask, while Y/N wore a matching cap.
As they approached the paved paths of the Han River park, the area was surprisingly alive with people. Couples were strolling, friends were sitting on picnic blankets, and cyclists zoomed past under the glow of the streetlights. Y/N’s heart gave a nervous flutter as a small group of teenagers walked right past them, laughing loudly.
She instinctively tightened her grip on Namjoon’s hand.
Instead of letting go, Namjoon twisted his fingers, locking them securely with hers. He squeezed her hand firmly, pulling her just a little bit closer to his side. His large, steady presence was like a shield. As they walked right through the crowds, completely unnoticed, the initial fear in Y/N’s chest began to melt away, replaced by a rush of pure adrenaline and joy.
She looked up at him, her eyes crinkling into a smile beneath the brim of her hat. Leaning in close, she softly whispered, "This feels so freeing, Joon."
Namjoon looked down at her, his eyes crinkling right back as a warm, dimpled smile hid beneath his mask. He squeezed her hand again, his heart swelling because he could finally share a normal, everyday moment with the woman he loved.
After walking for a while, they found a quieter, secluded spot away from the main path. They stepped up to the railing, where the cool river breeze swept over them, making the water ripple with the reflection of Seoul's glittering skyline.
They stood there for a moment in comfortable silence, just listening to the soft lapping of the water.
Namjoon turned his body toward her, leaning his hip against the railing. He reached out, gently pulling her into his space. Slowly, deliberately, he lowered his face to hers. With their fabric face masks still on, he pressed his lips against hers. Even through the thin layers of cloth, the kiss was deeply warm, sweet, and filled with a breathless kind of electricity. It was their own secret world.
When he pulled back, Y/N immediately slid her arms around his waist, burying her face into his chest. Namjoon wrapped his long arms tightly around her, resting his chin securely on top of her head.
Together, wrapped in each other's warmth, they turned back toward the water. They held each other tight, watching the quiet river flow into the night, both of them excited for the beautiful future they were building together.

Pt.17
The evening of the big dinner finally arrived, and the anticipation in their apartment was electric. After getting ready, Y/N stepped out of the bedroom looking absolutely stunning. She had chosen a classic tweed skirt and blazer set in a soft cream color, paired with a simple silk top underneath. It was elegant, professional, and sophisticated-perfect for a first impression.
She stood by the entryway mirror, reaching down to buckle the delicate strap of her chic high heels.
Namjoon, looking incredibly handsome in a tailored dark suit, noticed her struggling a bit. He immediately knelt down on one knee in front of her. Gently taking her ankle in his large, warm hand, he easily fastened the buckle for her. He looked up from the floor, his eyes completely full of adoration.
"You look absolutely beautiful, Y/N," Namjoon murmured, standing up to his full height. "Elegant, smart, and completely breathtaking."
Y/N blushed, leaning up on her tiptoes to wrap her arms around his neck. They shared a deep, reassuring kiss that melted away the last of her nerves. Hand-in-hand, they walked down to the garage and slid into the back of a private car, ready for the night ahead.
When they arrived at the upscale, hidden restaurant in Gangnam, Namjoon led her down a quiet hallway to a traditional private dining room. The moment Namjoon slid the door open, a wave of warmth and chatter hit them.
"She's here! Hyung, she's actually here!" Hoseok shouted excitedly, jumping up from his seat with a massive, blinding smile.
"Welcome, Y/N-ah!" Jin greeted loudly, immediately bowing politely before cracking a wide grin. "We've heard so much about you that I feel like we're already old friends. Come, sit down!"
Jimin immediately pulled out a chair for her next to Namjoon, his eyes crinkling into sweet crescents. "It is so wonderful to finally meet you, Y/N. Namjoon-hyung hasn't stopped talking about how brilliant you are."
Y/N offered a graceful bow, her heart melting at how incredibly kind and enthusiastic they all were. "It’s an absolute honor to meet all of you," she said softly.
The night quickly turned into a beautiful, unforgettable celebration. The table was piled high with delicious food, and the room was filled with continuous laughter and happy feelings. The members went out of their way to make sure Y/N felt completely included, asking her about Denmark and her law career with genuine interest.
Throughout the entire night, Y/N and Namjoon held hands beneath the table, their fingers tightly intertwined. Whenever she felt a little overwhelmed by the energy in the room, Namjoon would gently squeeze her hand, sending a comforting wave of safety straight to her core.
"So, Y/N," Taehyung said, leaning forward with deep curiosity. "Namjoon told us you met at the museum. What did you think of him when he randomly approached you?"
Y/N giggled, glancing at a blushing Namjoon. "Honestly? I thought he was a little creepy at first! I had no idea who he was, and I just wanted to stand in peace."
The entire room burst into chaotic laughter. Jungkook practically fell out of his chair, clapping his hands. "Ah, I knew it! Hyung, you really have no game outside of your lyrics!"
"Hey, it worked out in the end, didn't it?" Namjoon defended himself, a proud, dimpled grin on his face as he looked at Y/N, bringing her hand up to press a soft kiss to her knuckles in front of everyone.
Yoongi smiled warmly across the table, raising his glass. "We're just glad you're here, Y/N. Namjoon has been a lot happier since he met you. You're a part of the family now."
The members truly, deeply liked Y/N. They saw her pure soul, her sharp mind, and the radiant happiness she brought out in their leader. For Y/N, sitting surrounded by these global superstars who treated her with nothing but profound respect and love, the final shadows of her past completely vanished. She was safe, she was cherished, and she was exactly where she belonged.
As the midnight hour approached, the wonderful dinner finally came to a gentle end. The table was clear, and the room was filled with a lingering, comfortable warmth. One by one, the members stood up, adjusting their coats and offering Y/N the most affectionate farewells.
"You have to come to the studio soon, Y/N-ah!" Hoseok said, giving her a bright, enthusiastic wave.
Jin bowed politely, a dramatic but sweet smile on his face. "Drive safely, you two. And Y/N, don't let Namjoon break any of the dishes in your new apartment!"
Jimin stepped forward, his eyes crinkling into warm crescents as he gave her a gentle, reassuring nod. "It was truly an honor tonight. We are so happy Namjoon-hyung found someone as pure and brilliant as you."
After a round of polite bows, laughter, and heartfelt good nights, everyone greeted each other one last time and parted ways.
Back at the apartment, the quiet sanctuary of their home welcomed them. The city lights of Seoul blinked softly through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Y/N slipped off her high heels with a sigh of relief, while Namjoon loosened his tie, tossing his suit jacket onto the armchair.
He walked over to her in the center of the living room, a soft, incredibly proud, and dimpled smile lighting up his handsome face. Without a word, he reached out and pulled her gently by the waist, wrapping his long, strong arms around her as she slid her arms securely around his neck. They held onto each other in a long, quiet hug, rocking slightly on the spot.
"I told you everything was going to be fine," Namjoon murmured softly into her hair, his deep voice rich with satisfaction. "Did you see the way they looked at you? The members absolutely loved you, Y/N. Yoongi-hyung doesn't praise people easily, and he was completely impressed by your legal career. And Taehyung was practically ready to drag you to another art gallery tomorrow."
Y/N let out a soft, happy laugh against his shoulder, her heart swelling with an overwhelming sense of belonging. "They were so incredibly kind to me, Namjoon. I was so terrified of being judged or feeling small, but they made me feel like I was entirely welcome."
Namjoon pulled back just enough to look down into her eyes, his large, warm hands cradling her face with ultimate tenderness. "Because you are welcome, beautiful. You are a part of my life now, which means you are a part of theirs. You deserve all the love and respect in the world, and tonight was just the beginning of it."
He leaned down and pressed a sweet, lingering, and deeply loving kiss to her lips, sealing the perfect end to a perfect night.

Pt.16
The next morning, the delicious aroma of brewed coffee and toasted bread filled their bright, modern kitchen. Y/N and Namjoon sat across from each other at the dining table, enjoying a quiet breakfast.
Y/N set her coffee mug down, a look of quiet determination settling over her features. "Namjoon," she began softly, leaning forward. "I’ve been thinking a lot about my future here. I love our life, but I think it’s time for me to start working again. I want to try to get a job at a law firm here in Seoul."
Namjoon looked up, swallowing his food, his eyes widening with instant interest.
"I already have my qualifications and experience from working as a lawyer back in Denmark," Y/N explained, her voice growing more confident. "I don't want to lose that part of myself. I want to build a career here, too."
A proud, radiant smile broke across Namjoon’s face, his deep dimples popping out instantly. He reached across the table and firmly took her hand, squeezing it with absolute devotion. "Y/N, that is amazing. I support you one hundred percent. You are so smart and brilliant, and any law firm would be lucky to have you. No matter what steps you need to take, I will stand right by your side through all of it."
Y/N’s heart swelled with happiness. She leaned over the table, and Namjoon met her halfway, pressing a sweet, lingering kiss to her lips that tasted faintly of coffee.
As they pulled apart, Y/N smiled brightly. "Thank you. Actually, I'm meeting up with a girl later today. She's an acquaintance of mine who already works at a firm here in the city, and she offered to fill me in on how the legal system and corporate culture work in Seoul."
Namjoon nodded, his eyes shining with admiration for her proactiveness. "That’s incredibly smart. Go get all the information you need, beautiful. Just promise me you won't let her stress you out too much-remember, we still have our big dinner with the guys tonight, and I want my beautiful girl relaxed and ready to be showered with love."
After finishing their breakfast, they walked over to the front door, the exciting energy of a busy day ahead bouncing between them. Namjoon wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close for a warm, lingering goodbye kiss.
"Good luck today, my brilliant lawyer," he murmured against her lips, his dimples flashing.
"Good luck at the studio," Y/N smiled, kissing his cheek one last time before they parted ways, heading out into the bustling Seoul morning to conquer their respective days.
An hour later, Y/N was sitting in a beautifully modern, glass-walled cafe in Gangnam, sharing a table with her acquaintance, Min-ji. Min-ji was a sharp, friendly woman who had moved from Europe to practice international law in Seoul a few years prior.
"Honestly, Y/N, with your background in Danish corporate law and international contracts, you are exactly what firms here are scrambling for," Min-ji said, pushing a sleek folder across the table. "Our firm deals with European tech companies daily. If you want, I can submit your resume directly to our managing partner today."
Y/N’s eyes lit up with genuine excitement. "Really? That would be incredible, Min-ji! I was worried the transition into the Korean legal system would be too difficult."
"Please, you're brilliant," Min-ji laughed, waving her hand dismissively. "The corporate culture can be intense, but you have the backbone for it. Plus, your English and Danish fluency are massive assets here. I’ll text you the moment I hand over your file!"
Meanwhile, across the city at the HYBE building, Namjoon was sitting in the lounge area with Jin, Yoongi, and Hoseok during a short break from music production. He was casually spinning his phone on the table, a soft, unmistakable glow on his face.
"Alright, Namjoon-ah, spill it," Jin joked, leaning back on the sofa. "You’ve been grinning at the wall for ten minutes. Is our future sister-in-law ready for dinner tonight?"
Namjoon chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "She’s actually out right now meeting a contact to talk about joining a law firm here. She was a lawyer back in Denmark, you know."
Yoongi nodded in genuine approval. "That’s impressive. It’s not easy to just pack up your life and immediately look to establish a career in a foreign legal system. She sounds incredibly driven."
"She is," Namjoon said, his voice softening with immense pride. "She's so smart, guys. She’s had a really tough life before coming here, and she was terrified of Korea at first. But seeing her step up, face her fears, and chase her goals... it just makes me want to support her even more. I really want tonight to be perfect for her."
Hoseok beamed, clapping his hands together. "Don't worry, Namjoon! We are going to give her the warmest welcome ever. She’s one of us now!"
By late afternoon, Y/N arrived back at the apartment just as Namjoon was unlocking the front door. They walked into the living room together, dropping their bags on the entryway bench. Y/N slumped her shoulders slightly, letting out a heavy, exaggerated sigh as she looked down at the floor, deliberately hiding the bright sparkle in her eyes.
"Hey," Namjoon said gently, his smile faltering as he walked over to her. He placed a warm hand on her waist. "How did the meeting go with Min-ji? You look a bit down."
Y/N sighed again, biting her inner cheek to keep from grinning. "Well... the conversation just didn't go the way I wanted it to at all."
Namjoon’s face softened with instant empathy, his heart aching for her. "Oh, sweetie, I'm so sorry. It's okay, it's just the first meeting—"
"Because," Y/N interrupted, a massive, radiant smile breaking across her face as she looked up at him, "it went way better! She said I’m exactly what they need, and she’s passing my resume directly to the managing partner today!"
Namjoon blinked in shock for a fraction of a second before a huge, dimpled grin took over his entire face. "You tricked me!" he laughed loudly.
Before she could answer, he leaned down and scooped her right up off her feet, lifting her high into the air and spinning her around in circles in the middle of the living room. Y/N gasped and laughed, clinging tightly to his broad shoulders as the room whirled around them.
He slowly stopped spinning but didn't put her down, holding her flush against his chest. He leaned in and caught her lips in a deep, joyous, and breathless kiss.
"I am so proud of you," Namjoon murmured against her lips, his voice thick with genuine emotion and admiration. "I knew you could do it. You are amazing, Y/N."
They held onto each other for a long moment, swaying slightly on the spot as Y/N buried her face into his neck, soaking in the unconditional warmth of his embrace. It felt so incredibly healing to have a man celebrate her victories rather than tear her down.
Slowly sliding her hands down his chest, Y/N looked up at him with a playful, mischievous glint in her eyes. She leaned in close to his ear, her voice dropping to a teasing whisper. "Since we have to get ready for the big dinner tonight... do you want to come join me in the shower?"
Namjoon’s eyes widened playfully, his dimples cutting deep into his cheeks as a low, rich chuckle rumbled in his chest. "I think that is an excellent way to save time and celebrate," he teased back, tightening his grip on her waist as they headed down the hall together, completely wrapped up in their shared happiness.

Pt.15
The sun finally dipped below the horizon, and the vibrant neon lights of Seoul began to twinkle outside their large living room windows. After a relaxing evening of watching movies and enjoying their new home, it was time to wind down for the night.
In the spacious, modern bathroom, the couple stood side-by-side in front of the massive mirror. They were brushing their teeth together, their eyes meeting in the glass as Namjoon playfully bumped his hip against hers. Y/N giggled around her toothbrush, elbowing him right back. After rinsing, they moved on to their skincare routine. Namjoon leaned down, holding his breath as Y/N carefully patted a soothing hydrating serum onto his cheeks. In return, he gently rubbed a rich night cream into her forehead and jawline, his large hands incredibly soft against her delicate skin.
To make the night even more perfect, they had put on matching silk pajamas that his sister had gifted them for the move-a beautiful, soft sage green set.
"We look ridiculous," Y/N laughed, looking at their identical outfits in the mirror.
"We look incredible," Namjoon corrected, a wide, dimpled grin on his face. He pulled out his phone, framing them perfectly in the glass. Y/N threw her arms around his waist, leaning her head against his shoulder as the camera flashed, capturing a gorgeous, cozy mirror selfie that they would cherish forever.
As she went to turn off the bathroom light, Namjoon suddenly scooped her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style. Y/N gasped and laughed, wrapping her arms around his neck as he marched proudly into the bedroom. He laid her down onto the soft, crisp sheets with the utmost gentleness, before climbing in right beside her.
They immediately snuggled together, the cool air of the room fading under the warmth of the heavy duvet. Y/N rested her head securely on his broad chest, her hand playing with the buttons of his green pajama shirt.
She looked up at his handsome profile, a tiny hint of the upcoming day’s nerves creeping into her voice. "Namjoon? Can you talk to me a little about the members? Just so I can know what they love and what to expect tomorrow?"
"Of course, beautiful," Namjoon murmured, his voice dropping to a low, soothing rumble that instantly calmed her heart. He raised his hand, his long fingers beginning to softly stroke her hair, occasionally trailing down to gently caress her cheek.
"Let's see... Jin-hyung is the oldest," Namjoon began with a fond smile. "He cracks dad jokes constantly when he's nervous, and he loves food more than anyone. If he makes a joke, just laugh, and he'll love you instantly. Yoongi-hyung, he seems quiet and serious, but he is incredibly sweet and loves a good conversation about music. Hoseok is like pure sunshine; he will probably scream when he sees you because he gets so excited, and he loves fashion."
Y/N smiled, listening intently as his fingers rhythmically pet her hair.
"Then there's the maknae line," Namjoon continued softly, his thumb sweeping over her cheekbone. "Jimin is incredibly empathetic and warm; he's already your biggest fan. Taehyung loves art, photography, and jazz, so you two will have plenty to talk about because of the museums. And Jungkook, our youngest, might be a little shy around you at first, but he loves sports and video games, and he'll open up the moment you smile at him."
Y/N let out a soft, contented sigh, the vivid descriptions making the global superstars sound like a warm, loving family. With his soothing voice filling her ears and his gentle touch on her skin, the last of her anxieties completely melted away. She snuggled deeper into his side, perfectly ready to face tomorrow, knowing she had the best man in the world right by her side.
Y/N shifted slightly, snuggling even deeper into the crook of his neck. The steady rise and fall of his chest was the most comforting rhythm she had ever known.
"I feel so much more ready for tomorrow now," she whispered softly, her fingers lightly tracing the soft silk of his pajama shirt. "Thank you for telling me all of that. Honestly, I just love that I’m going to be with you through it all. As long as you're next to me, I know I'll be completely fine."
Namjoon’s heart swelled with an overwhelming wave of affection. He tightened his grip around her waist, pulling her flush against his side. Leaning down, he pressed a slow, incredibly tender kiss right onto the top of her head, his lips lingering against her soft hair.
"I'll always be right next to you, Y/N," Namjoon murmured, his deep voice rich with emotion and absolute certainty. "There is nowhere else in the world I’d rather be. I love you to the moon and back."
A peaceful, content smile crossed Y/N's lips as she closed her eyes. Wrapped securely in his strong embrace, with his thumb still rhythmically sweeping over her shoulder, the remaining tension in her mind completely evaporated. They lay there in the quiet room, holding each other tightly, and fell into a deep, beautiful sleep, perfectly ready to face the bright new day together.

Pt.14
The afternoon before the big dinner with the group, the living room was filled with a peaceful, quiet warmth. A soft playlist was humming in the background, and the golden sunlight stretched across the floor. Namjoon was leaning back against the plush cushions of the couch, and Y/N was curled up sideways right on his lap, her legs tucked under her and her head resting securely against his chest.
Namjoon’s large, warm hands were lazily tracing patterns over her arm, keeping her anchored close to him.
Y/N looked up at his strong jaw and the soft expression on his face. She reached up, her fingers gently tracing the collar of his shirt. "Namjoon?" she whispered softly.
"Hmm?" he responded, looking down at her with instant attention.
"I just... I wanted to tell you that I feel really safe with you," Y/N said, her voice dropping to a vulnerable, honest register. "I trust you very much. I didn't think I could ever trust a man like this, but with you, my heart just feels completely at peace."
Namjoon’s eyes softened completely, a wave of profound emotion washing over his face. He leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips, a slow, lingering press of reassurance. "I feel the exact same way about you, Y/N," he murmured against her skin, his thumb gently stroking her cheek. "You brought so much light into my world. I love you. So much."
Y/N looked at him, her eyes absolutely brimming with love. But as the weight of his words sank into her soul-realizing she was finally being loved the way she had always deserved-a few happy tears slipped past her lashes.
"Hey, why the tears?" Namjoon asked softly, immediately using his thumb to brush the moisture away.
"I love you too," she choked out with a breathless, watery smile. "I'm just so happy."
Namjoon smiled, his deep dimples popping out as he tucked her tightly under his chin. "Good. Because you deserve nothing but happiness. If you asked me to, I would literally hang the stars in the sky for you, Y/N. Just to keep you smiling."
Y/N let out a soft, beautiful giggle, the grand, poetic promise making her heart soar. She wrapped her arms around his middle and hugged him as tightly as she could, burying her face into his warmth.
Namjoon let out a rich chuckle, his hands sliding down to her waist. He playfully began to softly scribble and tickle her tummy, making her squirm and laugh against his chest. "Ah, look at you," he cooed fondly, his voice full of absolute adoration as he squeezed her close. "How can someone be this cute? I'm never letting you go."
Y/N giggled, squirming on his lap as his fingers danced over her stomach. She softly took his large hand in hers, trying to pull it away from her tummy. "Namjoon, stop! Please, don't do that," she gasped through her laughter, looking up at him with wide, pleading eyes.
Namjoon’s dimples deepened into a mischievous grin, his thumb lightly stroking her hand instead of letting go. "But my girl is so ticklish," he teased, his deep voice full of playful affection. "How can I stop when you make the cutest sounds?"
Y/N couldn't help but giggle even louder at his teasing words, her cheeks turning a bright, lovely shade of pink.
Looking down at her radiant, laughing face, Namjoon was suddenly hit with a massive wave of cuteness aggression. "Ah, you're driving me crazy," he groaned playfully. He wrapped his long, strong arms tightly around her middle, pulling her body completely flush against his chest so she couldn't move. He leaned down, burying his face in the crook of her shoulder, and began showering her neck with a flurry of soft, rapid kisses.
"Namjoon! No, wait!" Y/N squealed, playfully trying to squirm away from the ticklish sensation of his lips against her skin. She twisted and turned in his grip, but truth be told, she absolutely loved every single second of the attention. For a girl who had spent her whole life feeling unwanted, being held this tightly and adored this fiercely felt like the greatest gift in the world.
After a few more moments of playful chaos, Namjoon finally stopped. He loosened his grip just enough to look down at her, both of them slightly out of breath and grinning from ear to ear. He smoothed down a few stray strands of her hair.
"Alright, alright, I'll behave," Namjoon chuckled, his hands resting gently on her waist. "Are you hungry? Do you want to make lunch with me?"
Y/N smiled brightly, her heart feeling incredibly light. "I would love to. I'm actually starving after all that laughter."
"Perfect," Namjoon said.
They got up from the couch together, their fingers instantly intertwining. Still giggling and whispering sweet, playful comments to each other, they walked hand-in-hand into the sunlit kitchen, ready to cook their very first meal as a couple in their new home.
They decided to make sushi because it was Y/N’s absolute favorite food. The kitchen quickly turned into a beautiful mess of sticky rice, seaweed sheets, and fresh fish. Namjoon, true to his clumsy nature, accidentally rolled one of the sushi pieces so tightly that the ingredients squeezed out the side, making Y/N burst into laughter. She gently guided his hands to show him the right amount of pressure, and he watched her with nothing but utter devotion.
After some time, they managed to roll a beautiful assortment of spicy tuna, salmon, and cucumber rolls. Together, they carried the platters over to the dining table and sat down across from each other, the afternoon sun warming the room.
"Alright, the first bite has to be perfect," Namjoon smiled, his deep dimples popping out. He picked up a perfectly shaped salmon roll with his chopsticks, dipped it lightly in soy sauce, and carefully guided it across the table toward her. "Open wide."
Y/N leaned forward with a bright smile and took the bite, humming in absolute delight as she chewed. "Oh my gosh, Namjoon, this is incredible! Even the ones you rolled tightly taste amazing."
"Hey, I put my blood, sweat, and tears into that rice," Namjoon joked, making her laugh.
Y/N picked up her own chopsticks, grabbing a spicy tuna roll. She reached across the table, carefully feeding him back. Namjoon ate it, his eyes widening in appreciation. "Wow, you're right. We are actually an elite culinary duo."
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Captain," Y/N teased softly, leaning over the table.
Namjoon met her halfway, his hand gently cupping her jaw line as he pulled her into a sweet, lingering kiss. The taste of the soy sauce and the warmth of his lips made her heart do that familiar, beautiful flip. They parted slowly, their eyes locking with so much effortless affection.
"I could get used to this," Y/N whispered, her cheeks flushing a soft pink. "Eating favorite foods, cooking together, and having you right here."
"Get used to it," Namjoon murmured softly, leaning in to press one more quick kiss to her lips before picking up his chopsticks again. "Because this is our everyday life now."
They spent the rest of the afternoon eating, feeding each other the best pieces, and kissing in between bites, completely wrapped up in their own beautiful world.

Pt.13
One month later, the crisp afternoon air of Seoul felt like a celebration. Y/N stood in the polished hallway of a luxury apartment building in Hannam-dong, holding a small decorative box of her favorite things. The rest of her moving boxes were already stacked neatly inside. This was it. She was officially moving in with Namjoon.
She looked up at the door, her heart swelling with a level of pure, unadulterated happiness she had never thought possible for herself.
Namjoon stood right beside her, scanning his fingerprint onto the electronic lock. The door gave a cheerful chime and clicked open. But before Y/N could take a single step forward, Namjoon suddenly turned to her with a mischievous, dimpled grin.
"Wait, wait," Namjoon chuckled, blocking the doorway with his tall frame. "You can't just walk into our home like a regular person on moving day."
Y/N blinked, laughing softly. "Namjoon, what are you doing? Let me put this box down—"
Before she could finish her sentence, Namjoon leaned down and effortlessly scooped her up into his arms, carrying her bridal style. Y/N let out a delighted squeal, dropping her head back as her arms automatically wrapped securely around his neck.
"Kim Namjoon! Put me down!" she laughed, her cheeks flushing a beautiful, radiant pink.
"Never," Namjoon beamed, walking proudly through the threshold and using his foot to kick the front door shut behind them. He carried her right into the center of the spacious, sunlit living room before slowly sliding her down his body until her feet touched the floor. He didn't let go of her waist, keeping her pulled securely against his chest.
They looked at each other, their eyes absolutely brimming with love.
"Welcome home, beautiful," Namjoon murmured, his voice dropping to that deep, velvety register that always made her knees weak.
Y/N wrapped her arms around his neck, looking around the stunning apartment that now belonged to both of them. "It really feels like a fairytale now," she whispered, leaning her forehead against his. "Thank you for giving me a home where I finally feel safe."
"You are my home, Y/N," Namjoon replied softly, pressing a tender kiss to the tip of her nose. "Now, come on. Let’s get these boxes unpacked before it gets too dark."
For the next few hours, the apartment was filled with music, laughter, and the rustle of packing tape. Namjoon was incredibly attentive, helping her hang up her clothes, placing her favorite books on his massive bookshelves, and making sure her touch was visible in every single room.
As they finally finished breaking down the last cardboard box, Namjoon wiped his brow and handed her a cold bottle of water. He sat down next to her on the plush sofa, a slightly excited, nervous energy returning to his face.
"Hey," Namjoon said, taking her hand and rubbing the back of her knuckles with his thumb. "I have a little announcement."
Y/N tilted her head, taking a sip of water. "Oh yeah? What is it?"
"In two days, the guys want to throw a welcoming dinner for you," Namjoon said, his dimples peeking out. "You are officially going to meet the rest of the BTS members."
Y/N’s eyes widened slightly, her breath catching in her throat. Even though she knew this day would come, hearing it out loud made a tiny flutter of anxiety twist in her stomach. "Wow... really? I mean, I am so incredibly honored, Namjoon. I’ll... I will try my absolute best to not be nervous."
Namjoon let out a loud, comforting laugh, pulling her into his side and squeezing her shoulder tightly. "Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. They are already obsessed with you just from how much I talk about you. Besides, think about it this way—if your overprotective sister accepted me after everything, the guys are going to be a total piece of cake."
Y/N burst into a bright, musical laugh, remembering how fiercely her sister had grilled Namjoon before finally giving them her blessing. "You know what? That is actually very true. If you survived her interrogation, you can handle anything, and I can handle the guys."
"Exactly," Namjoon smiled, his eyes dropping down to her lips.
He leaned in slowly, closing the space between them, and pressed a sweet, lingering, and deeply loving kiss to her lips.
Namjoon’s lips lingered on hers, the sweet, slow kiss deepening into something much warmer and more intense. He pulled her just a fraction closer, his large hands resting firmly on her waist, sending a familiar thrill straight to her chest.
Slowly breaking the kiss, he leaned back just enough to look down into her eyes, a playful, incredibly handsome smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. His dimples peeked out, full of charm.
"So," Namjoon murmured, his voice dropping to a low, velvety whisper against her lips. "Now that we're officially unpacked... should we go celebrate this properly in the bedroom?"
A beautiful, confident smile broke across Y/N’s face, her heart completely sure of him and the future they were building together.
"Yes," she whispered against his lips.
Namjoon didn't wait another second. A low, happy sigh escaped him as he leaned down and caught her lips in another deep, passionate kiss. His hands slid from her waist to firmly wrap around her back, lifting her slightly as she tangled her fingers into his soft hair, pulling him closer.
With their lips still locked in a sweet, rhythmic rhythm, Namjoon began to guide her slowly and blindly down the hallway toward the master bedroom. Every step was filled with a lingering warmth and a deep, unspoken promise. They left the unpacked boxes and the rest of the world behind in the living room, heading into their private sanctuary to completely celebrate the beautiful love, trust, and passion that had finally brought them together.

Pt.12
They walked closer to the edge of the lake, the water sparkling like diamonds under the shifting late afternoon light. The sheer beauty of the hidden paradise made Y/N’s excitement bubble over. With a bright laugh, she let go of his waist and began to jog slightly faster in front of him, wanting to reach the shoreline first.
But her excitement got the best of her. Her foot caught on a hidden tree root in the grass, and she tumbled forward, clumsily landing on the soft ground.
"Oof," she grunted softly, pushing herself up on her hands.
Namjoon immediately let out a fond, protective coo, a deep chuckle vibrating in his chest as he hurried to her side. Instead of pulling her up by the hands, he stepped up directly behind her. Bending down, he slipped his large, strong hands right under her armpits, effortlessly lifting her back up onto her feet as if she weighed absolutely nothing.
Y/N stood securely against his chest, her face burning a bright shade of crimson. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice tight with absolute embarrassment. "I told you falling in public makes you look like a cartoon character."
"Hey, it's completely okay," Namjoon murmured into her hair, his arms locking gently around her middle from behind. He leaned down and softly pressed another sweet, lingering kiss against the sensitive skin of her neck, sending a delicious shiver straight down her spine. "You look beautiful even when you fall."
Wanting to completely melt away her embarrassment, Namjoon let her go just enough to pull his phone out of his pocket. He held it up, a bright, dimpled grin on his face. "To commemorate your epic battle with the grass, will you take a selfie with me?"
Y/N laughed, her shyness instantly evaporating. "Yes! Absolutely."
Namjoon extended his long arm, angling the phone so the gorgeous, sunlit lake stretched out beautifully behind them. Just as he was about to press the button, Y/N stood on her tiptoes, turned her head, and pressed a firm, loving kiss right against his dimpled cheek. The camera flashed, capturing the perfect moment—Namjoon’s eyes wide with pure, ecstatic happiness, and Y/N looking radiant, completely at peace.
Namjoon slowly lowered the phone, his heart hammering wildly against his ribs. He turned around fully to face her. Moving with absolute reverence, he raised his hands and softly took her face into his palms, his thumbs gently caressing her cheekbones.
He looked down into her eyes with an intensity that made the rest of the world completely disappear. "Y/N," Namjoon said, his deep voice thick with an overwhelming wave of emotion. "You are hands down the most beautiful girl I have ever met in my entire life. Not just on the outside, but your soul... it's incredible. I don't want this vacation to end, and I don't want to let you go. I want to be with you forever."
A few happy tears slipped past Y/N's lashes, blurring her vision as the raw sincerity of his words healed the final broken pieces of her heart.
Namjoon smiled softly, using his thumb to gently wipe the moisture away. "Y/N... delicate yet strong... will you do me the absolute honor of being my girlfriend?"
"Yes," she gasped out, a breathless, sobbing laugh escaping her lips. "Yes, Namjoon. A thousand times yes."
Namjoon didn't wait another second. Leanings down, he closed the remaining distance between them. Their lips met in a sweet, gentle, and deeply passionate first kiss. It wasn't rushed; it was a slow, beautiful promise under the setting Seoul sky. For the first time in her life, Y/N knew exactly what true, unconditional love felt like, safe and cherished in the arms of the man who chose her above the whole world.

Pt.11
The SUV crawled up a winding, narrow road lined with towering pine trees before finally coming to a stop. Namjoon killed the engine, turning to Y/N with a proud, dimpled smile.
They had arrived at a breathtaking, secluded clearing hidden completely away from the bustling world. Below them, a crystal-clear lake mirrored the vast blue sky, surrounded by rolling green hills. But the best part was a large, plush checkered blanket already spread out over the soft grass. Sitting right in the middle was a massive wicker basket.
Namjoon stepped out and walked around to open her door, guiding her over to the blanket. As he opened the basket, Y/N’s jaw dropped.
He hadn't just bought random snacks. Inside was a beautiful, thoughtful spread featuring both traditional Korean kimbap and ddeokbokki, sitting right alongside fresh Danish smørrebrød and classic pastries. He had painstakingly researched her heritage just to make her feel at home.
Y/N let out a genuine squeal of absolute happiness, her eyes lighting up like stars. Before he could even sit down, she threw her arms around his neck, hugging him so tightly that he stumbled back half a step.
Namjoon let out a deep, boisterous laugh, his chest vibrating against hers as his strong arms wrapped around her waist, lifting her slightly off the ground. "Do you like it?" he asked, leaning down to press a soft, lingering kiss against her temple.
"I love it! You are unbelievable, Kim Namjoon," she beamed, pulling away with a flushed, glowing face.
They sat down cross-legged on the blanket, the cool breeze rustling the leaves above them. Namjoon popped open two cold cans of grape soda, handing one to her. "A toast," he chuckled, clinking his can gently against hers. "Since I'm the designated driver today, no fancy wine. Just good old soda."
"To the best driver and picnic planner in Korea," Y/N cheered, taking a sweet, refreshing sip.
For the next few minutes, they happily dove into the food. Y/N excitedly showed him the traditional way to eat the Danish open-faced sandwiches, while Namjoon made sure she got the best pieces of the seasoned Korean beef.
As the initial excitement quieted into a peaceful, cozy atmosphere, Namjoon set his soda down. He looked at her, his eyes warm and intensely curious. "Hey, Y/N? I’ve been meaning to ask you since Minseok told me... what does your name actually mean? It sounds so unique and beautiful when I say it."
Y/N smiled softly, tracing the edge of her cup as she thought about it. "My mother gave it to me. In her language, the roots translate to something like 'delicate yet strong.' She wanted me to have a gentle heart, but the strength to survive whatever life threw at me."
Namjoon’s eyes widened slightly, a look of profound admiration washing over his handsome features. "Delicate yet strong," he repeated softly, the words rolling off his tongue like poetry. "Wow. I really, really love that. It suits you perfectly, Y/N. You have this incredibly pure, delicate soul, but the fact that you are standing here, smiling after everything... you are one of the strongest people I’ve ever met."
Y/N’s heart did a violent, happy flip at his words. To hide her sudden shyness, she leaned forward, tilting her head. "And what about you, Kim Namjoon? What does your name mean?"
Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck, a cute, boyish flush creeping up his ears. "Ah, my name? My parents had it chosen by a naming philosopher. The 'Nam' means South, as in South Korea. And the 'Joon' means talented or wise. So, altogether, it basically translates to 'the talent from the South.'"
Y/N grinned, her eyes crinkling. "The talent from the South. Well, they definitely got that right. It fits you perfectly, too."
Namjoon laughed softly, his hand reaching out across the blanket to find hers again, squeezing it gently under the afternoon sun.
Namjoon adjusted his position on the blanket, turning fully toward her. He looked out over the sparkling, quiet lake for a moment before turning his warm, focused gaze back to her face. "Hey, Y/N... if you don't mind me asking, why haven't you ever been to Korea before this trip? Since your father is Korean, I was just curious if you ever visited when you were younger."
Y/N went quiet, her fingers tracing the checkered pattern of the picnic blanket. She stared at the grass, thinking back through the history her mother had shared with her.
"Actually," she began softly, her voice barely carrying over the rustling leaves, "I was born here. I was born in Gwangju."
Namjoon’s eyebrows raised in slight surprise, but he didn't interrupt, letting her speak at her own pace.
"But because my father left the very day I was born, my mother couldn't bear to stay," Y/N explained, a distant look in her eyes. "She packed everything up. She left the country when I was only three months old and returned to Denmark. So I don't remember Korea at all. I was raised entirely in Denmark, and because my mother had to work so hard to support us, my grandparents actually did most of the raising."
She stopped, taking a deep, grounding breath. Slowly, she lifted her head and looked directly into Namjoon's eyes, her gaze soft, vulnerable, and completely unguarded.
"I didn't return for twenty-seven years," Y/N whispered, her lower lip trembling just a fraction. "Because I was scared. I was terrified that if I came back here, the rejection would feel real all over again. I was scared of the ghost of a man who didn't want me."
Namjoon felt a profound wave of tenderness wash over him, his heart aching for the tiny baby who had been carried away, and the brave woman who had finally found the courage to cross the ocean and face her past.
Namjoon didn’t say a word at first. Instead, he reached out and gently placed his large, warm hands on both sides of her face, his palms cradling her cheeks with the utmost tenderness. He forced her to look directly into his eyes, ensuring she couldn't look away from the truth.
"You are so incredibly brave, Y/N," Namjoon murmured, his deep voice thick with genuine admiration. "To face a fear that big, to come all the way back to a place that caused you so much subconscious pain... that takes a level of strength most people don't have. I am so proud of you for being here."
Y/N’s cheeks immediately flushed a deep, burning crimson under the warmth of his palms. Overwhelmed by the raw intensity of his gaze, she let out a soft whine and tried to tilt her head down, hiding her face right in the center of his hands.
"Namjoon, stop," she whispered, her voice muffled against his skin as a shy giggle escaped her lips. "Please stop looking at me like that, you are making me way too shy."
Namjoon let out a low, breathless chuckle, captivated by how adorable she looked when she blushed. Instead of letting her pull away, he slid his hands down to her shoulders, leaning forward slightly. He tilted his head and pressed a soft, lingering kiss right against the sensitive skin of her neck.
Y/N gasped softly, her entire body freezing as a violent, electric flip shook her heart. A beautiful warmth rushed straight to her toes, leaving her skin tingling where his lips had just brushed against her.
As Namjoon slowly pulled his head back, his hands moved to gently find hers, intertwining their fingers tightly on the picnic blanket. Y/N lifted her head, her shyness melting away into a profound sense of security. They just stayed there, sitting close under the afternoon sun, looking at each other with pure, unguarded affection, completely wrapped up in a love that was finally rewriting her entire world.
Namjoon looked down at her features, taking in the soft curve of her jaw and the way her eyes crinkled. A playful smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "You know," he murmured softly, his voice full of warmth, "you don't look half-Korean at all."
Y/N let out a sudden, breathless giggle, completely caught off guard by his observation. The sheer lightness of the moment made her lean back, losing her balance playfully until she fell right backward onto the soft checkered blanket.
Namjoon chuckled softly, shifting his weight to lean over her. He looked down at her with an expression of pure, unadulterated adoration. Reaching out, his large hand gently brushed a stray lock of hair away from her forehead, his fingers softly petting her hair against the grass.
Y/N looked up at him through her lashes, a sweet, meaningful smile on her lips. "Maybe it's because my mother's genes were just more loving," she whispered.
Namjoon's heart swelled at her words, loving how she could now reference her past with a gentle sense of peace.
Wanting to see more of the beautiful scenery, Y/N gave him a cute, bright look, her eyes wide and hopeful. "Can we go and walk by the lake now? Please?"
"Your wish is my command," Namjoon smiled, his deep dimples appearing instantly.
He sat up and offered both of his hands to her. Y/N grabbed them, and with one effortless tug of his strong arms, he helped her get right up onto her feet. Once she was standing close to him, Namjoon didn't let her step away. Instead, he slid his large, warm hand around the side of her waist, pulling her gently against his hip.
Y/N felt that familiar, beautiful flip in her chest. Smiling up at him, she mirrored his gesture, confidently sliding her own arm around his waist, her hand resting against the soft fabric of his sweater. Wrapped securely in each other's side-hugs, they turned together and began to take a slow, peaceful walk down the grassy slope toward the edge of the sparkling, quiet water.

Pt.10
The next morning, the sun streamed through the massive glass windows of the HYBE dance studio, casting long shadows across the polished floor. Namjoon sat on the ground with his back against the mirrors, a towel draped over his shoulders and a water bottle in his hand.
Jimin sat a few feet away, catching his breath after their intense morning practice session. He noticed the goofy, distant smile plastered on his leader's face.
"Hyung, you've been staring at your phone and smiling at nothing for the last hour," Jimin teased, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. "What is going on with you?"
Namjoon looked up, his cheeks flushing slightly, but he couldn't hide his happiness anymore. He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to an eager whisper. "Jimin-ah... I met someone. Her name is Y/N."
Over the next ten minutes, Namjoon poured his heart out to his bandmate. He told Jimin about the museum, the coffee shop, and the intense, emotional dinner they shared the night before. He didn't hold back, describing the painful guard she kept up because of how badly men had hurt her in the past.
"Jimin, she has such a pure soul, but people have treated her so terribly," Namjoon said, his eyes filled with a fierce, protective warmth. "When she finally smiled at the end of the night, it felt like the sun coming out. I just... I want to shower her with love and everything I have to give. I want to give her the world just to see her smile and ensure she's happy every single day."
Jimin’s jaw dropped slightly, completely touched by the raw emotion in Namjoon's voice. A huge, genuinely joyful smile broke across Jimin's face, and he reached over to slap Namjoon’s shoulder playfully. "Wow, hyung. I've never seen you like this. I am so, so happy for you! She sounds amazing. If anyone deserves a love like that, it's you. You have to take good care of her, okay?"
Meanwhile, across town, Y/N was sitting in the bright, sunlit hotel restaurant, enjoying a breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries with her sister. The heavy cloud that usually hung over her features was completely gone, replaced by an eager, bright-eyed excitement.
"You're glowing," her sister noted, pouring herself some coffee.
Y/N blushed, taking a sip of her juice. "I'm meeting Namjoon again today. He messaged me first thing this morning. I'm just... I'm so excited. Honestly, I just really want to hug him again. His hugs make me feel like nothing bad can ever touch me."
Her sister’s eyes widened playfully, a wicked smirk instantly spreading across her face. She leaned across the table, propping her chin in her hands to tease her. "Oh, wow. Look at you! Miss 'I Don't Believe In Fairytales' is suddenly dying to run into the arms of her Prince Charming! Are you sure it's just the hugs you're looking forward to, or are we hoping for another cheek kiss today? Or maybe moving a little closer to the lips?"
"Sister, stop!" Y/N groaned, burying her burning face in her hands as her sister laughed out loud, thrilled to see Y/N finally acting like a lighthearted, happy girl in love.
The afternoon sun cast a warm, golden glow over the city as Namjoon stood patiently by the curb, a block away from Y/N's hotel to avoid drawing any unwanted attention. Dressed comfortably in a soft cream-colored sweater and dark trousers, he leaned casually against the side of a sleek black SUV. He kept checking his watch, his heart fluttering with an eager, nervous energy that he hadn't felt in years.
Suddenly, he spotted her walking down the sidewalk.
A brilliant, breathtaking smile broke across Y/N's face the moment her eyes locked onto his tall frame. Forgetting all her past hesitation, she picked up her pace. Namjoon’s dimples popped instantly as he pushed himself off the car, opening his arms wide just in time for her to collide gently against his chest.
She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, burying her face into the crook of his shoulder. Namjoon held her just as close, his large hands anchoring her against him, breathing in the sweet scent of her hair.
"Hi," she whispered softly against his shoulder, pulling back just enough to look up into his warm eyes.
"Hi," Namjoon replied, his voice rich and deep as he looked down at her radiant face. "You look absolutely beautiful today, Y/N."
"Thank you," she blushed, her eyes crinkling with genuine happiness. "You don't look too bad either, Kim Namjoon."
He politely opened the passenger door for her, ensuring she was safely inside before jogging around to the driver's seat. As he buckled his seatbelt and started the engine, he turned to her with a mysterious, playful glint in his eyes.
"So," Namjoon began, shifting the car into drive. "I decided we need a real escape today. I’m taking you somewhere completely outside of Seoul. It’s about an hour's drive away, right into nature. Are you ready for a little road trip?"
Y/N’s eyes lit up with pure excitement, her hands clapping together softly. "An hour away? That sounds perfect. I’ve always wanted to see the countryside. Lead the way, Captain."
As the SUV smoothly merged into the traffic, leaving the towering skyscrapers of Seoul behind for open roads and green mountains, the atmosphere inside the car became incredibly cozy. They talked effortlessly about everything and nothing at all.
"Alright, truth time," Y/N laughed, turning in her seat to face him. "What is your absolute biggest fear? And don't say something deep and poetic like 'failing my fans.' I want something silly."
Namjoon laughed heartily, his broad shoulders shaking. "Okay, okay! Honestly? I am absolutely terrified of bugs. Especially mosquitoes. If there is a single mosquito in my bedroom, I will stay up until 4:00 AM chasing it with a slipper. What about you?"
"Oh, definitely falling up the stairs in public," Y/N grinned, her eyes sparkling. "Not falling down. Falling up is so much more humiliating because you look like a clumsy cartoon character."
"Hey, as the reigning king of clumsiness, I completely validate that fear," Namjoon teased, reaching across the center console. He confidently slid his large, warm hand over hers, intertwining their fingers perfectly as he kept his eyes on the road.
A comfortable silence settled over them, and Namjoon reached over with his free hand to turn on the car's sound system. A soft, acoustic indie-pop playlist began to flow through the speakers. Y/N instantly recognized the gentle melody of an old, nostalgic love song. Without realizing it, she started humming along, her voice soft and sweet.
As the chorus hit, she grew a little bolder, softly singing the lyrics under her breath, her eyes gazing out the window at the passing green trees.
Namjoon turned down the volume of the stereo slightly, turning his head for a brief second to catch her voice. A soft, mesmerising look of utter captivation crossed his features. "Wow," he murmured softly as she finished the line. "Y/N... you have a genuinely beautiful voice. It’s so soothing."
Y/N immediately stopped singing, a hot, vibrant blush instantly flooding her cheeks. She squeezed his hand tightly, hiding her face behind her free hand as she let out a shy, embarrassed giggle. "Oh my gosh, Namjoon, don't say that! Please don't look at me, I'm a terrible singer."
"I am looking at the road, I promise," Namjoon chuckled, his thumb gently caressing the back of her hand to soothe her nerves. "But I mean it. I work with singers every single day, and your voice is lovely. Don't be shy with me. I love hearing it."
Y/N peered through her fingers at him, seeing the pure, unconditional warmth radiating from his profile. The tiny, lingering doubts in her mind melted away, replaced by a wonderful, soaring feeling of being completely safe, completely happy, and beautifully cherished.

Pt.9
The taxi pulled up to the curb right in front of the hotel’s glowing glass entrance. Namjoon stepped out first, holding the door for Y/N as she slid out into the cool midnight air.
Neither of them wanted the night to end. Turning to face each other on the quiet sidewalk, Y/N stepped into his space, and Namjoon automatically opened his arms. They wrapped around each other, holding on for a long, quiet moment. It wasn't a rushed goodbye; it was a deep, lingering hug that felt like a sanctuary. Y/N buried her face in his chest, breathing in his comforting scent, while Namjoon held her tightly against him, anchoring her to the present.
Slowly pulling back just enough to look down at her face, Namjoon kept his hands resting gently on her waist. "Can I see you again tomorrow?" he asked, his voice filled with a quiet, hopeful vulnerability.
A beautiful smile broke across Y/N’s face. "Yes," she whispered without a single second of hesitation.
Smiling back, his deep dimples framing his face, Namjoon quickly pulled out his phone. They smoothly exchanged their numbers, the digital beep marking the official beginning of something real. As he went to slide his phone back into his coat pocket, Y/N stood on her tiptoes. She leaned in softly and pressed a gentle, lingering kiss right against his warm cheek.
When she pulled away, her face was completely flushed a brilliant shade of pink. Giving him one last shy, breathless smile, she turned around and hurried through the sliding glass doors of the hotel lobby.
Namjoon stood frozen on the sidewalk. He didn't move a muscle. He just touched his fingers to his cheek where her lips had just been, a dazed, completely smitten grin spreading across his face. He watched her retreating figure through the glass, his heart overflowing with absolute awe and love for the incredible woman who had just walked into his life.
Upstairs in the hotel room, Y/N closed the door behind her, her heart still hammering a frantic, happy rhythm against her ribs. Her sister was sitting on the edge of the bed, instantly looking up with wide, anxious eyes.
"Well?" her sister asked, leaning forward. "What happened? Are you okay?"
Y/N sat down next to her, a radiant, peaceful glow on her face that her sister hadn't seen in years. Over the next hour, Y/N poured her heart out. She told her sister everything-about the painting, her tears, her confession, and how Namjoon had listened to every single word without an ounce of judgment.
"For the first time in my life," Y/N whispered, her eyes shining, "I felt completely seen by a man. He didn't make me feel small. He made me feel valued."
Her sister’s expression softened, reaching out to gently squeeze Y/N's hand. "I am so, so incredibly happy for you, sweetie," she said softly, her voice full of genuine support. "You deserve this more than anyone. But... he is a global superstar, and his world is complicated. Just promise me you'll still watch out for yourself, okay? Protect that beautiful heart of yours."
Y/N nodded, understanding her sister's protective love. "I promise."
Later that night, Y/N slipped beneath the cool, crisp hotel sheets. The heavy, suffocating weight she had carried across the ocean from home was completely gone. She closed her eyes, falling into a deep, peaceful sleep, her mind filled with beautiful dreams of sunlit parks, warm hands, and a bright, happy future that finally belonged to her.

Pt.8
Namjoon’s expression softened even further, a deep sense of respect shining in his eyes. He leaned forward slightly, making sure his body language conveyed absolute safety.
"Thank you," Namjoon murmured, his voice thick with genuine emotion. "I really appreciate that you trust me enough to tell me. It means a lot."
Y/N looked down at the smooth wooden table between them. Her heart was pounding, but for the first time, it wasn't out of fear-it was out of a desperate need for grounding. She swallowed hard, her voice barely a whisper as she looked back up at him.
"Can I... can I take your hand?" she asked softly.
Namjoon didn't say a word. Instead, he immediately reached across the table, turning his palm upward to welcome hers. Y/N slid her smaller hand into his broad, warm grip. The moment their fingers intertwined, that familiar, comforting spark of electricity flared between them, but this time, it felt steadying.
Namjoon squeezed her hand gently, offering her a soft, reassuring smile that made his deep dimples appear. He held her hand firmly, letting her know without words that he wasn't going anywhere and that she was completely safe to say whatever she needed to say.
"That painting in the museum," Y/N started softly, her voice barely a whisper as she stared down at their joined hands. "The way the father held his daughter’s hand... there was this raw, beautiful love radiating from it. I just stood there because I’ve never known what that feels like. I never had a father’s love, Namjoon. My father never wanted me."
Namjoon felt a sharp pang of sorrow in his chest. Without a word, he squeezed her hand a little tighter, his warm thumb gently stroking the back of her knuckles to let her know he was right there with him.
Y/N swallowed hard, forcing herself to take a deep, steadying breath. She desperately tried to keep her voice from cracking, fighting back the fresh wave of tears. "My mother is Danish, and she met my father-who is Korean-in France while she was on a summer vacation. They had a whirlwind romance, they slept together, and... I happened."
She paused, looking up into Namjoon's attentive, deeply sorrowful eyes. "But my father was from a very traditional, incredibly strict family. He only wanted a son to carry on his name. My mother, being naive and deeply in love, thought that once he actually saw me, his heart would melt and he would accept me. So, she hid the truth from him. She hid the entire pregnancy, letting him think they were expecting a boy."
A tear finally spilled over, tracking down Y/N's cheek, but she pushed through the memory. "When she gave birth, she genuinely believed he would look at me and fall in love. But the moment the nurse walked into the waiting room and told him it was a girl... he just turned around. He disappeared. We never heard from him again. He abandoned us completely, just because of my gender."
The weight of the confession broke her. Y/N stopped speaking, her shoulders trembling as a quiet, breathless sob escaped her lips. The tears came fast now, blurring her vision.
Namjoon didn't offer empty platitudes or tell her not to cry. Instead, he slowly lifted her hand, bringing her trembling knuckles up to his lips. He pressed a soft, lingering kiss against the back of her hand, holding it there against his warmth. He let his touch speak for him, silently offering her all the time, space, and safety she needed to just breathe and pause.
Y/N sniffled, using her free hand to wipe her eyes, but the tears kept coming. "Because of him... because my father rejected me before I even took my first breath, I grew up thinking I was broken. Every man I ever met after that just... they always humiliated me. They made me look small, and ugly, and completely undeserving of love."
She choked back a sob, her fingers tightening around Namjoon's hand. "And I was so naive. I wanted to be loved so badly that I always gave them everything. I gave way more than they ever deserved. I just wanted someone to love me. I just wanted to be cared for, Namjoon. That's all I ever wanted."
Namjoon’s heart shattered into a million pieces. He looked at her, his eyes shining with a mixture of intense sorrow and a quiet, protective anger toward the people who had treated such a pure soul so terribly.
"With my last boyfriend..." Y/N continued through her heavy tears, her voice breaking completely as the most painful memory forced its way out. "When he broke up with me... he looked me dead in the eye and asked me... why would he ever love me when my own father didn’t?"
The cruelty of the words echoed in the private room. Y/N dropped her head, her shoulders shaking violently as she wept openly, completely undone by the weight of her past.
Namjoon didn't hesitate for a single second. He immediately got up from his side of the table and moved to sit directly next to her on her cushion.
Without a word, he wrapped his long, strong arms around her, pulling her trembling body tightly against his chest. Y/N collapsed into his embrace, hiding her face in his hands and his sharp blazer, sobbing out years of buried pain, rejection, and humiliation.
Namjoon held her close, burying his face gently into her hair. He rocked her slowly, his large hands rubbing comforting, steady circles into her back.
"Shh, I've got you," Namjoon murmured, his deep voice vibrating against her as he poured every ounce of sincerity into his reassuring words. "Listen to me, Y/N. Look at me. They were wrong. Every single one of them was wrong. You are beautiful, you are so incredibly strong, and you are so deserving of love. Your father's choice had nothing to do with your worth. He was a coward who missed out on the most precious soul. I am right here. You are safe now. Let it all out."
He held her tightly, letting her cry until the storm inside her finally began to calm, his warm embrace shielding her from a world that had been far too cruel to her for far too long.
As the storm of her tears finally began to clear, the room grew quiet, filled only with the soft sound of Y/N’s slowing breaths. She stayed tucked safely against Namjoon's chest, the steady, rhythmic beat of his heart acting like an anchor for her fragile emotions.
Slowly, she lifted her head, her eyes red and puffy, but looking remarkably lighter than before. She looked up into his warm eyes, her voice still a bit raspy from crying.
"I've never... I've never received empathy from a man before," Y/N whispered, her hand resting gently against his blazer. "Every time I showed vulnerability in the past, it was used against me. I really appreciate you, Namjoon. Thank you for listening to my story without a single ounce of judgment."
Namjoon’s heart swelled with a mixture of deep affection and a profound desire to protect her. He didn't say a word at first. Instead, he leaned down and pressed a soft, lingering kiss against the crown of her head, his lips warm against her hair.
"You are not the one who should ever be judged, Y/N," Namjoon said softly, his deep voice carrying an undeniable weight of truth. He looked directly into her eyes, making sure she felt every syllable. "You are so beautiful, so smart, and so incredibly brave. You didn't deserve a single piece of the terrible stuff that happened to you. None of it was your fault."
He raised his hands, his long, gentle fingers carefully sweeping under her eyes to softly wipe away the remaining traces of her tears. His touch was as light as a feather, treating her like the precious, pure soul she was.
Looking at his dimpled, reassuring smile, Y/N felt a sudden rush of warmth and security she had never experienced in her entire life. Without a second thought, she threw her arms around his neck, burying her face into the crook of his shoulder, and hugged him really, really tightly. Namjoon smiled softly, wrapping his strong arms around her waist, holding her close against the world outside.
Namjoon felt her tiny, relaxed sigh against his shoulder, and he knew it was time to bring the light back into her world. He gently pulled back just enough to look at her, a playful, dimpled grin breaking across his handsome face.
"Alright," Namjoon said, his voice instantly lifting the heavy air in the room. "Since I've officially ruined your beautiful makeup with sad stories and heavy emotions, I think I owe you a laugh. Did I ever tell you about the time I accidentally broke a multi-million-won prop on a music video set just by breathing on it?"
Y/N let out a tiny, watery giggle, shaking her head.
For the rest of the night, the atmosphere in the private room completely transformed. Namjoon kept his promise, filling the space with hilarious stories about his legendary clumsiness, the chaotic bickering of the BTS members, and the time he got lost in a foreign country without his passport. Y/N found herself talking freely too, sharing funny memories of her sister’s overprotective antics and the silly cultural misunderstandings she had experienced since landing in Seoul. For the first time in years, she wasn't calculating her words. She was just laughing, her pure soul finally getting a chance to shine brightly.
By the time the restaurant was closing, the midnight air was crisp and cool. Namjoon wouldn't even dream of letting her take a taxi back alone. Despite the risks of being recognized, he slid into the back seat of a premium taxi right beside her, giving the driver the address of her hotel.
As the car pulled into the neon-lit streets of Seoul, the cabin grew quiet, but it was a comfortable, electric silence.
Namjoon rested his arm on the seat between them, his palm turned upward in a silent invitation. Y/N looked down, a sudden wave of sweet shyness washing over her. Her cheeks flushed a soft pink under the passing streetlights. Slowly, carefully, she slid her fingers into his, letting him wrap his large, warm hand completely around hers.
Throughout the entire ride back, neither of them said a word. They just held hands tightly, their eyes locking every few seconds. Whenever Y/N caught him staring at her with that intense, melting affection in his eyes, she would look away shyly, a small smile playing on her lips, only for her gaze to be drawn right back to his. The past didn't matter anymore. For the first time in her life, Y/N felt completely safe, entirely cherished, and beautifully valued by a man who saw her true worth.

The glowing clock on the dashboard of the taxi read 8:45 PM. Y/N sat in the back seat, her heart drumming against her ribs. She was forty-five minutes late. It wasn't an accident. A cruel, protective part of her mind wanted to test him. She expected him to be gone, tired of waiting, proving that he was just like every other man who lost patience the moment a woman didn't instantly bow to his schedule.
When the taxi pulled up to the traditional, upscale restaurant nestled in a quiet corner of Hannam-dong, Y/N stepped out into the cool night air.
She looked absolutely breathtaking. Slipping past her usual defenses for just one night, she had chosen a sleek black mini skirt that hugged her body perfectly, paired with a delicate, off-the-shoulder top. Her legs looked endless, and the minimalist look accentuated her natural beauty.
A private host guided her through a hidden courtyard and into a beautifully secluded dining room. The door slid open.
Namjoon was still there.
He was sitting at a low wooden table, dressed in a sharp, casual blazer. The moment she entered, he didn't look angry or annoyed. His eyes widened slightly, taking in her stunning appearance, and a genuine, relieved smile broke across his face.
Namjoon stood up immediately and bowed politely. "Good evening, Y/N."
He stepped around the table, his movements graceful, and gently pulled out the comfortable cushion seat to help her sit down.
Y/N settled into the seat, placing her small purse beside her. She looked at him through her lashes, her voice a mix of surprise and lingering suspicion. "I wasn't expecting you to still be here. Most people would have left after fifteen minutes."
Namjoon slid back into his seat across from her, a knowing, amused glint in his eyes. "Were you testing me?"
Y/N felt a sudden blush creep up her neck. She quickly averted her gaze, shifting uncomfortably under his perceptive stare. Desperate to change the subject, she looked around the elegant, minimalist room. "Why are we here, Namjoon? Why this restaurant? Why me?"
"We are here because the food is incredible, it’s completely private, and most importantly," Namjoon said, his voice dropping to a soft, earnest register, "because I want to get to know you better. No cameras, no rush. Just you and me."
Before Y/N could build her walls back up, a light knock sounded at the door. Servers quietly entered, filling the table with an array of beautifully prepared traditional Korean dishes—steamed fish, seasoned vegetables, and perfectly grilled beef. The aroma was mouthwatering.
Namjoon picked up his chopsticks and gestured warmly toward the feast. "Let's eat first. You must be hungry. We can talk all you want after we've had some food."
For the first thirty minutes, the dinner passed in relative silence. Y/N ate delicately, her movements polite but incredibly guarded. Every time Namjoon tried to ask a light question about her trip, she gave short, one-word answers. He could see the tension in her shoulders; she was still waiting for the other shoe to drop, waiting for the moment he would humiliate her or show a hidden agenda.
Realizing she wasn't ready to open up, Namjoon decided to take the pressure off her. He set his chopsticks down, leaned back slightly, and took a sip of water.
"You know," Namjoon began softly, breaking the quiet air, "everyone thinks being in BTS means my life has always been this grand, dramatic movie. But before all of this, I was just a clumsy kid from Ilsan who loved poetry."
Y/N looked up from her plate, her attention caught by his sudden vulnerability.
"I used to write lyrics in the back of my school notebooks because I didn't know how else to talk about my anxieties," Namjoon said, a nostalgic smile tugging at his lips. "When the group started, it was terrifying. We slept in one small room, sharing bunk beds, constantly wondering if we'd fail. I had to learn how to be a leader when I barely knew how to take care of myself."
He paused, his eyes softening as he looked across the table at her. "And through all of that, the person who kept me grounded was my family. Especially my younger sister. She’s around your age, actually. She never cares that I'm RM. To her, I’m just her annoying older brother who ruins the laundry and loses his wallet every week."
A tiny, genuine smile cracked through Y/N's stoic expression at the image of the global superstar being scolded by his little sister. Namjoon noticed it, and his chest warmed. He was finally breaking through her ice, sharing his own soul so she would feel safe enough to share hers.
"She sounds lovely," Y/N whispered, her voice losing some of its sharp edge. She stared down at her glass of water, tracing the rim with her finger. "My sister and I... we have a really deep connection, too. Even though she is eight years older than me. Because of that gap, she’s always felt more like my second mother than just a sister."
Namjoon sat perfectly still, his eyes locked on her face. As she spoke, he noticed a slight, fragile tremble in her bottom lip. The defensive armor she had worn all day was finally starting to crack, exposing the raw, tender emotion underneath. Instead of jumping in or asking another question, Namjoon leaned forward slightly, keeping his expression entirely soft and patient. He decided to just let her speak, giving her all the time and space she needed.
Y/N took a shaky breath, pausing softly as she tried to swallow the sudden lump in her throat.
"We are sisters from the same mother," she continued, her voice dropping to a vulnerable whisper. "But... we have different fathers."
She stopped completely, the words hanging heavily in the quiet room. Y/N tried to blink away the rising warmth in her eyes, but she was too late. A single, silent tear slipped past her eyelashes and rolled slowly down her cheek, catching the dim light of the restaurant.
Namjoon didn’t hesitate. He reached into his blazer pocket, pulled out a clean, soft tissue, and gently extended his hand across the table toward her. His movements were slow and deliberate, ensuring he didn't startle her.
"Here," Namjoon said, his deep voice carrying a wave of pure comfort. He looked at her with absolute gentleness, his eyes entirely warm. "You don't need to talk about it if you can't, Y/N. You don't owe me your painful memories. We can just sit here, or talk about something else. Please don't force yourself."
Y/N took the tissue from his fingers, their skin brushing together for a brief second, sending a soft flare of warmth straight to her chest. She carefully dabbed away the tear on her cheek, taking a long, shaky breath to steady her racing heart.
She looked across the table at him, seeing nothing but genuine concern and kindness in his eyes. There was no mockery. There was no judgment. For the first time in her life, a man was telling her that her feelings mattered more than his curiosity.
"No," Y/N said softly, shaking her head. She squeezed the tissue in her palm, looking right back into his eyes. "I want to talk about it. I've been nothing but bad, rude, and defensive toward you since the moment we met. You’ve been so incredibly patient, and I think you deserve to know the truth about why I am the way I am."

Pt.6
Namjoon walked briskly down the sidewalk, his eyes scanning the morning crowds. Just a block away from the hotel, a vibrant local street market was bustling with activity. He slowed his pace, and then, his heart skipped a beat.
Emerging from the market stalls was Y/N, holding a small bag of fresh fruit, with her sister walking right beside her.
"Y/N!" Namjoon called out, his deep voice cutting through the ambient noise of the street.
Both girls stopped and turned. The moment Y/N’s sister recognized his tall frame approaching, she instantly stepped in front of Y/N, her arms crossing defensively over her chest. Her eyes flashed with protective anger.
"Hey! Look, mister, I don't care who you are or what your deal is," her sister snapped fiercely, glaring right at him. "You need to back off and leave my sister alone right now, or I'm calling the police. Go away!"
Namjoon stopped a few feet back, lifting his hands in an apologetic gesture. "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to scare-"
"It's okay," Y/N interrupted softly.
She gently reached out and placed a hand on her sister's shoulder, stepping out from behind her protective shield. Her expression wasn't angry or panicked like before; it was calm, grounded, and intensely curious. She looked directly into Namjoon's hidden eyes. "It's okay. I actually want to talk with him."
Namjoon blinked, completely caught off guard. His hands slowly dropped to his sides. A look of genuine surprise washed over his face, quickly replaced by a profound wave of gratitude. "You do? I... thank you. I wanted to ask for the exact same thing."
Y/N turned to her sister, giving her a reassuring nod. "Give us just a few minutes, okay? Wait for me back at the hotel lobby. I'll be completely fine." Her sister hesitated, glaring one last time at Namjoon, before sighing and walking away toward the hotel.
Left alone on the busy sidewalk, Namjoon gestured toward a quiet, narrow alleyway just off the main street, leading to a hidden, secluded courtyard behind a closed gallery. "We can go this way. It's much more private."
They walked in silence until they reached the empty courtyard, surrounded by traditional stone walls that muffled the sounds of the city traffic. Y/N stopped and turned to face him. She didn't look like the defensive, wounded girl from before.
Namjoon reached up, slowly pulling off his sunglasses and his cap, exposing his face entirely to her. "Look, I know how I've been acting seems crazy, but-"
"I know who you are," Y/N said softly, interrupting him.
Namjoon froze, his breath catching in his throat as he searched her eyes.
"I saw the poster in the lobby yesterday," Y/N continued, her voice steady but tinged with a hint of awe. "And I spent last night looking you up in my room. You're RM. You're Kim Namjoon from BTS."
Namjoon opened his mouth to explain, his chest tightening slightly, but Y/N cut him off before he could find the words.
"Let me ask you something first," she said, her voice dripping with sudden suspicion. She crossed her arms, tilting her head as she looked him up and down. "Do you always do this? Is this your routine? Do you always run after girls like this whenever you see someone crying in a museum?"
Namjoon’s eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't look offended. He took a slow breath, realizing that honesty was the only key that would ever unlock her trust.
"Never," Namjoon said, his voice deep and entirely sincere. "I have never done anything like this in my life. Ask my manager-he thinks I’ve completely lost my mind. I don't run after strangers, and I don't follow people. But when I saw you... I couldn't explain it. I felt this pull, and I knew if I let you walk away, I’d regret it for a very long time. I’m being completely honest with you."
Y/N stared at him, her heart doing a dangerous, chaotic flutter. It was exactly what she wanted to hear, but her years of emotional scars instantly fought back. She couldn't let herself believe him. She couldn't risk the humiliation.
"Well, it doesn't matter," Y/N lied smoothly, forcing her voice to sound cold and detached. "Because I’m not interested. You are a global superstar, and you should really be looking out for your career instead of wasting your time. I am not that important. I'm just a tourist passing through."
Namjoon took a step closer, the distance between them shrinking. He looked down at her with an intensity that made her breath hitch. "What if you could be important to me?" he asked softly.
Y/N let out a soft, breathy giggle, shaking her head as she looked away. "Right. Because life works exactly like that. Look, Kim Namjoon, I don't fall for fairytales. Real life doesn't have happy endings like that for people like me."
Before she could turn away to leave, Namjoon gently reached out and caught her hand. His touch was warm, and that same spark of electricity from the day before zipped up her arm. He didn't let go. Instead, he pulled a sleek black pen from his coat pocket.
"Then let's not make it a fairytale," Namjoon murmured, his eyes locking onto hers. "Let's just make it dinner."
Carefully, his fingers steady against her skin, he wrote the name and address of a private restaurant directly onto the palm of her hand. The ink felt cool against her skin, but his touch felt like fire.
"Meet me there tonight at eight," he said, capping the pen and letting her hand go. "Only if you want to, of course. I won't force you. But I'll be waiting."
Without giving her a chance to argue or decline, Namjoon stepped back. He offered her a polite, deeply respectful bow, his eyes lingering on her face for one last second. Then, he turned on his heel and walked out of the quiet courtyard, leaving her standing there entirely alone in the morning sun, staring down at the ink written on her palm.

A few hours later, Y/N stepped out of the elevator into the hotel’s luxurious lobby. Her hair was damp and tied into a messy bun, and she was looking around for a receptionist to ask for an extra pool towel.
As she waited by the front desk, her eyes wandered to a large, glossy digital poster glowing on the wall nearby. It was a massive advertisement for a luxury brand, featuring seven strikingly handsome men.
Y/N’s breath hitched. Her eyes widened in absolute shock.
Right there, standing in the center of the group with a sharp suit and a confident, devastating smirk, was the man from the museum. The stranger from the sidewalk.
She squinted her eyes, convinced her mind was playing tricks on her. She stepped away from the desk and walked slowly toward the poster, coming so close her nose was practically inches from the glass. She stared at his sharp jawline, his tall frame, and the unmistakable shape of his eyes. It was him. There was absolutely no doubt about it. He wasn't just some random, creepy guy following her on the streets-he was clearly someone incredibly famous.
"Ma'am? Your towel?" the receptionist called out, holding a fluffy white cloth.
Y/N snapped out of her trance, quickly taking the towel with a flushed face. "Thank you," she mumbled. She practically ran back to the elevator, her mind racing. The second she got back to her hotel room, she was going to lock the door, grab her laptop, and investigate exactly who this man was.
Meanwhile, across the city, Namjoon's phone buzzed in his hand. A text from Minseok flashed on the screen with a hotel address and a room registration confirmation under the name Y/N.
Namjoon stared at the address, a victorious, dimpled smile spreading across his face. He locked his phone and tossed it onto the studio couch.
"The game is over now," he whispered to himself, a spark of pure excitement flaring in his chest. He finally knew where she was.
The next morning, Namjoon didn't waste any time. Dressed casually but sharply in a dark trench coat, a cap, and glasses, he walked into the lobby of her boutique hotel. His heart pounded with a nervous thrill he hadn't felt in years. He stepped up to the receptionist, offering a polite bow.
"Good morning," Namjoon said, keeping his voice smooth and low. "I'm looking for a guest registered here. Her name is Y/N. Is she currently in her room?"
The receptionist tapped away at the computer, checking the log, before looking up with an apologetic smile. "Ah, I'm sorry, sir. Miss Y/N and her sister actually just walked out the front doors a few minutes ago. They mentioned they were heading out for a morning walk."
Namjoon’s smile faded slightly, replaced by a wave of determination. He thanked the receptionist, turned around, and walked out toward the bustling street, his eyes scanning the crowds. She was close.

Pt.4
The next morning, Minseok stood inside the crowded coffee shop, pulling his black cap down to hide his face. As Namjoon’s manager, he had access to plenty of resources, but he preferred to keep things simple and quiet. He waited until the morning rush thinned out before stepping up to the counter.
The young barista looked up, blinking in surprise at the serious-looking man.
"Excuse me," Minseok said, keeping his voice low. "A girl came in here yesterday morning. Foreigner, about this tall, wearing a light cardigan. She ordered two iced coffees. Do you happen to remember her name? It would have been written on the cup."
The barista frowned, thinking back. "Oh! The girl who had a minor argument with a tall guy outside?" Minseok nodded quickly. "Yes, I remember her. Her name was really unique. I had to ask her to spell it twice. It was Y/N."
A sharp spark of satisfaction hit Minseok. "Y/N. Thank you."
Walking back to his car, Minseok pulled out his phone and messaged Namjoon right away.
[Minseok]: Found a name. It’s Y/N. The barista remembered her because it’s a very rare name here.
Across town at the HYBE building, Namjoon’s phone buzzed on the studio desk. He snatched it up, his eyes widening as he read the text. He stared at the letters on the screen. Y/N. It rolled off his tongue beautifully. It felt personal, real, and completely different from the nameless mystery she had been the day before.
He immediately typed back.
[Namjoon]: Hyung, please do one more thing. Since her name is so rare, can you check the guest registries at the boutique hotels near that park? She has to be staying close by.
[Minseok]: You are driving me insane. Fine. Give me a few hours.
While Namjoon paced the studio floor with a racing heart, Y/N was miles away, completely unaware that the net was closing in.
At her hotel, she slid into the crystal-clear water of the rooftop swimming pool. The morning sun danced across the surface, casting bright blue reflections against the glass walls. For the first time in years, Y/N felt light. She floated on her back, closing her eyes as the cool water cradled her body.
With every deep breath she took, she felt the painful weight of her past washing away. The humiliation, the cruel words of the men who had broken her spirit back home—they felt small now. She looked up at the vast Seoul sky and smiled. She was alive. She was free. She allowed herself to think about a genuinely happy future, one where she wasn't afraid to be a pure soul. And for a fleeting second, the dimpled smile of the tall stranger crossed her mind, making her chest flutter before she playfully splashed the water to erase him.

Pt.3
Namjoon stepped back into the car, slamming the door shut behind him. The air conditioning rushed over his face, but it did nothing to cool the sudden heat racing through his veins.
His manager, Minseok-hyung, looked at him through the rearview mirror, his eyebrows raised in deep suspicion. "Namjoon-ah, what was that? You look like you just saw a ghost. Who was that girl?"
Namjoon didn't answer right away. He stared out the window, watching the glass doors of the coffee shop fade into the distance as the car pulled back into the morning traffic. His hand still felt warm where he had touched her arm.
"Hyung," Namjoon said, his voice dead serious. "I need you to do me a favor. Find out who she is."
Minseok nearly choked on his saliva. "Are you out of your mind? We don't have time for this, and you know the privacy rules-"
"Anything is going to be okay, hyung. I'll take full responsibility," Namjoon interrupted, turning to look at his manager with an intensity that made Minseok freeze. "I just need to know who she is. Please. Just find out where she's staying or what her name is. That’s all."
Minseok sighed deeply, rubbing the bridge of his nose, knowing that when Namjoon got an idea in his head, there was no stopping him. "I'll see what I can do. But you owe me big time."
Meanwhile, Y/N walked into the sunlit park, carrying two cardboard cups of iced coffee. Her hands were still shaking slightly, and her heart refused to return to its normal rhythm. She found her sister sitting on a wooden bench, scrolling through her phone.
"Finally! I thought you got lost," her sister joked, taking the offered coffee. She paused, looking closely at Y/N’s pale face. "Hey... what's wrong? You look like you're about to faint."
Y/N sat down heavily on the bench, pulling her knees up to her chest. "The weirdest thing just happened. That man from the museum yesterday? The one who gave me the tissue?"
"Yeah? What about him?"
"He followed me," Y/N whispered, her voice tight. "He literally stopped his car in the middle of the street, got out, and intercepted me on the sidewalk. He kept asking for my name and where I'm staying."
Her sister’s jaw dropped. "Are you serious? In broad daylight? What did you do?"
"I told him he was being creepy and to leave me alone. We came all the way to Seoul for a vacation just to get away from men like this, and I can't even buy coffee in peace!" Y/N sighed, taking a long sip of her drink.
But as she spoke the words, a small, stubborn voice in the back of her mind whispered against her anger. He hadn't actually felt dangerous. And that strange shock of electricity when his hand touched her arm... it felt entirely different from the empty, humiliating encounters she had survived in the past. Still, Y/N shook her head, forcing the thoughts away. She played it cool, burying the sudden flutter in her chest. She refused to get her hopes high. She wouldn't let herself be disappointed by another man ever again.
Later that afternoon, Namjoon was sitting in a high-level production meeting at the HYBE building. The room was filled with the low hum of executives discussing upcoming album concepts and global tour schedules.
Namjoon, usually the most attentive person in the room, was completely spaced out.
He stared at the whiteboard, but he wasn't seeing the charts or the numbers. He was thinking about her. He thought about how incredibly defensive she had been, her words sharp and jagged like shattered glass. It was obvious she had been deeply hurt before. Her anger wasn't malicious; it was a shield.
But then, a slow, dangerous smile crept onto Namjoon's face as he remembered the very last thing she said to him.
“Try to find out.”
She had looked so bold, so fiercely independent when she threw that challenge in his face. It wasn't a rejection; it was an invitation.
I will find you, Namjoon thought to himself, tapping his pen rhythmically against his notebook. And when I do, we are going to talk for real.
…
