Angel of The Night - Toyotomi Hideyoshi x Reader

Here is another story of mine for the Ikefandom, I hope you all like it.

Two mens try to assault you in the middle of the night, when Hideyoshi appears to save you by claiming that you’re his wife.

Warning:Attempt of rape, sexual harassment

It was another of those Full Moon’s cold night. The cold breeze gently hitting your face as you were running for your life.

Running away from those mans behind you.

Honestly, what could you do against them? Just you, who was so scared and terrified to think about a way to run from them.

You fell on the ground when you tripped in a rock and your knee started to bleed in response.

One of them grabbed you by behind holding up your arms, while the other tried to strip your underwear.

You wished so hard to scream, but your fear of death was stronger so you couldn’t even whisper from fear.

Warm tears slowly ran through your cheek when you felt his hand on your leg, but you still kept yourself quiet.

It seems like the world was about to end and give its place to a darker one, one you would never have the chance escape from just like it was here

Suddenly, when it seems that everything around you was about to fade, not only you but your agressors too got reallyscared by the shadow towering over you.

“H-Hideyoshi-sama!” One of the yelled with terror on his eyes, finally releasing your arms and legs. The man in front of you was hugeand tall. You would find him really handsome if it wasn’t by the death glare on his eyes, but you soon got calm as you notice that it wasn’t for you, but for them.

“What the hell are you doing with my wife?” He demands an answer sharply, but you also get shocked by his words, what did he meant with that?

“We-we’re sorry, Hideyoshi-Sama…” One of them answered, completely paralyzed of fear.

“Get out of here while you three still live your pitiful lifes, and by the beggining of the sunrise I want all of you out of this city.” Hideyoshi says with a terrifying tone when you noticed he was about to raise his sword over them

Immediately, they ran away, leaving you with Hideyoshi, but you were still scared by what could’ve happened if he didn’t come in time.

“Can you get up?” He asks tenderly, giving his hand to you, which you take in response. He takes you to his castle, where he puts you into his room so you wouldn’t be alone. It’s scary to be alone with a man at first, but his behavior towards you makes you feel better with him.

You were sitting on the ground while drinking some tea with him to make you calm down, even though you were still scared right deep inside.

“What’s wrong? Are you okay?” He asks, really concerned about you.

“Why are you shivering?” He covers your back with a blanket as you try not to cry with your head low to not look at him.

“I am sorry.” You answer, still scared.

“Shh… You don’t have to apologize me.” He asks you gently.

“I am not going to harm you so please don’t cry.” Hideyoshi touches your left cheek softly so you wouldn’t get scared.

“Why did you told them that I am your wife?”

Hideyoshi looks at you with his eyes full of kindness as her gently pets your head to comfort you

“That was unfair.” He said, looking at you. “You were against two bastards like them and I couldn’t pretend I didn’t see that because I noticed how terrified you was.”

Tears ran through your face when you realize that his concern was genuine. You can’t help but hug him in response

“Thank you!” You say, still grabbing him. Since you seemed to be so innocent, he couldn’t force you to release him so he hugged you back.

“It’s lonely here.” He whisper on your ear. “This place needs a feminine touch.” He completes with a smile. “What do you think about it?”

That would be a wonderful idea if you wasn’t scared of him right deep. He was a man after all

“Why are you making such a proposal?” You ask still suprised.

“Well..” Hideyoshi cleans his throat. “You look like the lonely type, and I also feel lonely sometimes…So…” He hesitated, looking a bit confused somehow. “I thought it would be better for you to stay, but only if you feel okay to do so.”

You finally smile, making him feel comfortable. It’s so refreshing to have someone treating you so nicely as if you were a princess, so you couldn’t even pretend that you didn’t like that.

“I understand your concern Sir, and since you’re being so nice to me I’d like to take a try and pass some time with you as a way to thank for your kindness.” You say with a smile. Your answer seem to give him a positive reaction

“Well then my lady, may I have the honour to know the name of this beautiful lady right in front of me?

“y/n” You answer him as he takes a deep breath.

“Y/N huh?Not bad, actually it suits your my flower.” Hideyoshi comes closer, petting your hair with lots of affection as if you were a little girl.

“Now, my Darling is your time to sleep.” He says, pointing to a bed. “You can rest there, I’ll find my place around here.” He says as if that was usual of him.

“How about you, Hideyoshi-san?” You ask, concerned about him

“No worries my dear, I am going to sleep next to you, but on the ground.” His tone was sad towards the last phrase, when you finally understood what he meant: He wouldn’t sleep so close to you due to the circunstamces you met him. Hideyoshi truly was a good guy at the end

Withou saying anything, you lay down on his bed as he does the same on a futon by the side of the bed. You can’t deny it’s embarassing, but his sleeping face was quite beautiful and charming, just like the captain that moments ago served you tea. You didn’t find him terrifying after all his treatment either while he was sleeping right there.

It was hard to fall asleep because of the things you lived that night, and when you did, you felt like you were in a never ending nightmare with those rapists surrounding you. You would have screamed the whole night if it wasn’t for your knight in shining armor waking you up in the middle of the night.

“Wake up!” You hear him saying as you slowly open your eyes only to find not only that you were crying but also that Hideyoshi was right there over you looking at your horrified face

“Are you okay?” He asks, sitting by your side. “You scared me so I had to wake you up.” He explains looking at you.

“I guess I have to sleep in another room.” His tone is sharp, you easily understood that he felt guilty to sleep by your side when hours ago you were saved from an atempt of rape.

“No, please!” You beg him, taking him by his kimono’s sleeve.

“You saved me and I am really glad you took me here, but please don’t leave me alone.” Tears start to run your face as you look to the ground to not look at him

“If you really want to do it, I may sleep in this bed with you, but only if you allow me to do so.” He says, yet in a cold tone that turns bright when you agree with that.

“I would be glad if you sleep by my side.” You answer with a shy smile. “ If you don’t mind, I’d like to be hugged also.” Hideyoshi smirks in response, he would do much more than just hug you, but he would cross the line only if you allowed him to do so.

A Day in Sophie’s Life

I just felt like posting this since everybody here knows that I LOVE this girl, and there was a time since I wanted to write this.

Usually, she wakes up with a resident waking her up by the morning. Most of the time it would be Napoleon, Leonardo, Comte, Theo, Vincent, or Sebastian himself, but the others would do it from time to time (they would fight to do that if it were her birthday or any commemorative day like Christmas)

Once they help her with the dressing and her hair, she would go to the dining room for their breakfast, where she would address each resident in a different way so they wouldn’t be confused, and they would do the same towards her, by calling her the same way her name would be in their countries.

It would be:

Napoleon: He can calls her both Sofia (Italian variation) and Sophie (French Version), but he goes by Sophie most of time. Affectionately calls her “Ma revê (my dream)”. She calls him Papa.

Leonardo: Sofia, but calls her Piccola (Little one in Italian). She calls her Babbo in return.

Comte: Either Sophie or Chérie. She calls him Mon Pére (mostly if Napoleon is around, so they wouldn’t be confused)

Theo: Goes by Sofie (Dutch/German variant), but calls her “Troublesome child” in an affectionate way. Calls him Paapje.

Vincent: Either Sophie or Sofie. She calls him Paap.

Jean: She ADORES him. Since he’s affectionate towards her, but with some distance. She ends up seeing him more as a brother than as a father. He calls her Sophie, but also goes by “that sweet little angel”.

Arthur: Calls her Sophia (English Version). She calls him Father.

Mozart: Calls her Sofie, but also goes by “Troublesome child” just like Theo. She calls him Vati.

Isaac: Calls her Sophia. She calls him Dad sometimes, but he gets a bit embarrassed even though he likes when she does that.

Dazai: She calls him Osa-otou-san. He calls her Harumi (Beautiful Spring in Japanese).

Sebastian: Aki-otou-san. Calls her Harumi just like Dazai.

After a long and tiring greeting, she would join them and then go to a proper school, where she would pass the day talking with her teacher due to the lack of friends (most of them would be from Napoleon’s school when she would go there)

After school, she would be taken home either by foot with one of the residents (mostly those with duties in the city, which wasn’t far from her school) or by carriage in cold/rainy days).

If she ever got sick, they would switch turns to watch over her, with Leonardo sleeping out of her room or Napoleon/Comte (and Jean sometimes) watching her asleep.

If THEY got sick, she would ask them to take care herself, and she would switch towels, and hold their hands while in bed, wishing for them to get better soon. (Leonardo and Comte feel deeply sorry for not catching a cold for real due to being Pure Blood, so that never happened to then lol)

At winter, she would be Comte’s and Sebastian’s personal doll, by wearing every single piece of cloth they would buy for her (as if her wardrobe wasn’t already bigger than Marie Antoinette‘s). There’s a rumour running in some history books that the greats Napoleon Bonaparte, Jean D’arc and Leonardo da Vinci were deafeated by a little girl in a snowball fight.

How much I Love You - Isaac

After some time, here is the next boy of our list to give a POV about his feelings for a certain little girl.

I guess I was the last one to talk properly to you, even Mozart and Theo talked to you before me.

At first, I did not want to get too close to you because I did not know how you were, and I did not know about your feelings.

But that day when you came with Napoleon as a student to be with the other kids, that was the day I realized how much you needed not only social contact, but also love as well.

You used to be so shy and quiet at the start, and although It was out of character of me to not understand you at first, once I knew what happened to you made me sick to the stomach.

I wanted to protect and to care for you just like everyone in the Mansion, and I am grateful you allowed that from me.

And I am more than glad to see how much of a stronger and gentle girl you turned out to be.

You’re not only my daughter.

But MY Pride as well.

How much I love her - Jean

At first I thought of her as a burden, mainly because something so pure shouldn’t come closer to someone as dirty as me, but it ended after just a talk.

A talk I’ve ended up listening from le Comte with Arthur.

They were discussing about King’s incident, which jumped over Sophie while she was walking through the garden, and the talk wasn’t that pleasant because Arthur just made a very non-funny joke about that, which made she cries only from remembering the event.

What I heard was that she told Napoleon about her being afraid of dogs, because the man whom she ran away from would release his Dobermans to chase her when she tried to run from him.

That made me realize how innocent and vulnerable she was, but over it all, I could finally understand why she was so scared of him coming after her.

Not only that, but I also could understand how and why she would get along so well with Napoleon.

He was a good friend of mine after all, and I could understand her feelings towards that.

And when Theo acted harsh with her at the dining room, I found myself standing up to her, because I knew that her legs and hands were shaking in fear of rejection from him.

Without even thinking, I took my foil from my belt and pointed at his neck. His rude words were enough to make me angry, but when she showed in front of us her scarred back, with a big red spot covering all the way from her nape down to her waist.

The entire room got silent for a moment, and everyone was listening to her words.

Comte was the first to get closer and comfort her into his arms.

Honestly, I wished I had done the same because she didn’t deserve such a thing.

From that moment on, she would be protected by me.

Even if it was from the shadows.

How much I love her - Le Comte of Saint-Germain

I may have lived centuries, but I never witnessed such a thing like what I saw in a cold winter day.

The snowfall was way more aggressive in that night, which would make in theory for it to be impossible for someone to survive through the night.

But someone did.

And I cannot help but to think it was something coming from destiny itself.

I sensed something wasn’t right when Leonardo joined me to find out the strange atmosphere around the mansion.

I saw a shadow while getting to the abandoned part of the mansion. The shadow hadn’t a clear shape, but I could tell it was from something small. That made me get more cautious with the possibility of it being a child.

As Leonardo and I made our way through the house, I could hear something getting opened and then closed.

We both could listen to the breathing, and it was clear to us that it was from a child.

We got closer to the point she would be, and when I opened the small cupboard door there she was.

She was shivering from cold, with only a ripped dress covering her, her breath was heavy, and there was a sign of fear in her expression.

But what got my attention the most was her blue-colored foot. The girl was barefoot.

Without ever thinking twice after getting her out of the cupboard, I immediately covered her with my overcoat, to which she shivered in a pleasant way with the source of heat.

I carried her back to the mansion, and although I thought of sending her to somewhere else, deep down I knew there was something wrong, after all, why would a girl get like that in such a cold night?

Somewhere in my heart made me think of only protecting her and help her, because there was something she wasn’t okay in telling to either me or the servants.

But after a few days, I knew it.

It only took a couple of days for us to know what happened to her.

And I can say I got pretty angry with that

But her smile and curiosity were making that ill feeling go away, mainly after I found out she never had a proper childhood, so I decided to give her one myself.

 She would learn how to read and dozens of other things, and little by little I started feeling something I wasn’t expecting.

That girl committed the sin of stealing the heart of a vampire like me.

And before I could realize, I was there writing her adoption document as a gift from the whole mansion after a reunion we made while she was asleep.

Everyone agreed on giving their last names to her, but I would be still her legal guardian.

Her intelligence suited our great big family way too much.

And that’s why that small little girl received “Wisdom” as a name.

A girl that smart should only be called as Sophie.
