He'd assumed it was Sebastian, but as time went by, he couldn't help but see how you seemed constantly at his aide, from making a delicious breakfast of his favorite foods, to cleaning his dirty cape, to even helping him with the kids he tutors every once in awhile
The life of a soldier had prepared him for a life of independence, so to be able to have someone he could lean on was a new feeling to him
However, he feels touched by your cute efforts to show how you care about him, and wants to show that he also cares just as much

Comte is always doing things for others, whether it be indirectly though giving money, or providing for the mansion residents
So when you first begin focusing your attention towards him instead, he can't help but feel flattered and grateful
He adores those late nights when you catch him still working on some important documents and letters, he'd feel a sense of peace when you pop into his study with a small cup of strong, aromatic tea and a check up on how he was doing, gently warning him not to overwork himself
As much as he enjoys caring for others, he found himself loving the feeling of being cared for, savoring the small moments you give him where he can feel safe in your presence
Of course he'd want to make sure you're well rewarded for inciting such happiness inside him
He'll ask you to come by his room, where he'll give you small presents, and whatever you might wish for, as he wants to be able to show that same kindness to you.
Leonardo:
He notices quickly, when you begin doing small things for him. He's incredibly perceptive to the thoughts and actions of others, so when he sees you doing small things for him, he's touched by your thoughtfulness
Just last night you had given him a box of cigarillos you had acquired while grocery shopping, noticing that he was running low on them
And the day before you caught him sleeping outside, and given him a soft blanket in case he was cold
Honestly, he just can't help but pull you in his room, sweeping you into his arms into a loving hug

Leonardo Da Vinci:
He is the most gentle, caring father in the world and completely ready to take on all of the challenges of fatherhood. Leonardoās been preparing for the babyās arrival since the moment he found out he was going to be a papa - He handcrafted wooden toys, a cradle and other bits of furniture for the nursery.
Leonardo has never held a baby before his own so heās confused and doesnāt know how to do it but, he kinda figures it out with a little help for le Comte. And once he does work out how to properly hold his daughter, heās never letting go - Leo can be seen all over the mansion with the baby in his arms.Ā
He read once that skin to skin contact is vital in a new-bornās development so, it becomes a regular occurrence for Leonardo to start napping shirtless with his little girl taking a nap on his chest with one of Leoās big hands resting gently on her tiny back.
Often finds himself caught off guard by how small his daughter is: How she can only just wrap her tiny little hand around his ring finger, how her button nose is actually button sized and how short her arms and legs are. Leonardo notices it most when holding her clothes, mostly her shoes and the pantaloons she wears underneath her dresses.
Hands down, he is the most protective father around. He has his daughter in sight at all times and if he must leave her even for a minute, he recruits either le Comte or Jean to make sure his precious little girl is alright.Ā
Leonardo named his daughter Antonietta.
Le Comte de Saint Germain:
Comte will be in floods of happy tears for at least the first 2 weeks of twinsā lives honestly, he is overjoyed and feels so very blessed to have these two little angels in his life.
Immediately buys them some sweet little matching outfits in various colours, styles and fabrics - Definitely has the most stylish children in Paris. Heāll spend all of his time just caring for them, watching them, reading to them, the pair are almost never out of sight. He does have to enlist Leonardo to help him out because twins are a handful.
Comte will often take the babies to the music room if Mozart isnāt in there and play them gentle piano or violin music. He also sings them old French lullabies from when he was a child, hoping to fill them with rich culture from an early age + he just loves to comfort his kids. Nothing brings him more joy than the smiles and giggles that his precious children make when theyāre happy and peaceful.
He canāt really work out a great schedule for the twins very quickly but if he has to keep himself awake with coffee just to care for them, then so be it. There will definitely be nights where he just doesnāt sleep but, he doesnāt care as long as his kids are happy and healthy.
Comte carries the pair around the mansion teaching them different words in French, English and Italian. Once theyāre developed enough to support their own heads (sit upright without someone supporting their necks/heads) Comte will have one of them on his shoulders and the other on his hip like a koala whilst he carries them around.Ā
Le Comte called his son Adrien and his daughter Odette.
Theodorus van Gogh:
Theo is a great father, no doubt - He was a father in life so, heās got a bit of experience. But, every time that he looks at his son, he is stunned speechless by this beautiful little boy that he cradles in his arms.Ā
He takes to parenting like a duck to water: Heās organised, heās got his son on a great sleeping and eating schedule in a matter of days after his arrival and heāll even manage to keep a good work/home life balance. Seriously, Theo is a machine of a man when it comes to fatherhood.
Theo will speak to / coo at his baby at every given opportunity, interacting with him as much as possible. He reads him old Dutch stories that Vincent read to him when they were kids and honestly tears up a little when he notices how much the baby looks to him with his big blue eyes and caramelly brown hair. Heāll tend to speak to his son in Dutch but of course, he wonāt forget to teach him French and English too - The little boy speaks three languages by the time heās 2 and a half! Though, Theo will be unbelievably annoyed when his sonās first words areĀ āUncle Arthurā but, his annoyance melts away instantly when he sees the darling boyās bright smile.
When his son can sit up on his own, Theo will let him take little rides round the gardens on Kingās back which is the cutest sight on this earth. When the little boy gets too big to ride on Kingās back, Theo will let his son ride around on his shoulders whenever he pleases. Honestly, Theo is so wrapped around his boyās little finger.
Will very sheepishly ask Vincent to paint a portrait of his precious little boy, and if he agrees, Theo will hang the portrait up in his room as soon as itās done so whenever heās busy with paperwork at his desk, he can see his beautiful son to give him some more motivation to work quickly. Sometimes he just caves in and gives up on his work for the day to take his little boy out to town to get cake.
Theodorusā son is named Valentijn.
William Shakespeare:
He is a little hesitant at first; Afraid to even hold his perfect baby in case he accidently hurts her. It definitely takes him a while to adjust to having this new little life to look after please give him a hand and a massage heās stressed
William will read his daughter stories and plays and sing her old English folksongs to settle her when sheās crying or to get her fall asleep in the late hours of the night.
Shakespeare often leaves the baby with Puck when he has to pop out of the room for any longer than a minute or so. She often snuggles up with Puck which Will finds to be the most adorable sight in the world. Heāll teach her very early on to pet the bunny gently, showing her how to whilst reminding her,Ā āWe must beest careful with those smaller than us, mine darling daughtār.ā
Always holds her like sheās a precious porcelain doll and gazes at her with such awe and adoration, his heart warming whenever she giggles so sweetly. Will loves to boop her little nose because it makes his daughter squeal and giggle to no end.
He makes all of her clothes for her until sheās about 8 years old - Shakespeare is excellent with a needle and thread and choses the best fabrics in Paris for his darling daughterās clothes. Heāll make her a lot of clothes in the style of his time period: Beautiful Elizabethan dresses with matching coats and shoes (as well as clothing more suited to 19th century Paris too.) William definitely makes the pair of them matching outfits and styles her hair back into a ponytail with red ribbon like he does with his own - They are the cutest father-daughter duo in the country!

Heās got just as much style as Mozart, they sorta look like twins, except his eyes are a honey brown.Ā Also his hair has some black strips.Ā Their clothing style is very similar however

Just as lazy as Leonardo, but just as curious as him, in the wrong things though.Ā He has really soft fluffy hair and bright golden eyes.Ā Compared to Leonardo he is Tiny, and cannot fit in his clothes, so heās walking around in Isaacs clothes until he can get some of his own.Ā He doesnāt look great in red, heād rather stay in all black.
Harry
Just as anxious, if not more anxious than Issac.Ā If you happen to scare him he jumps and yelps.Ā Heās a little smaller than Isaac and tries to understand what heās doing and is constantly asking questions.Ā Most of the day heās curled up on the bed because he forgets that he has the ability to get off himself.
Brush
Gotta touch everything.Ā But heās also gotta make sure everything is clean.Ā Yeah heās outside a lot but he is very clean.Ā His hair is a light brown dark brown combination and is long enough to be pulled back in a small ponytail, which he does.Ā He helps Sebas clean but gets distracted very easily when he sees something shiny.
King
He looks almost exactly like Vinc, but with Theoās build, and Vincās personality.Ā Heās def not as shy as Vinc however.Ā Heās always trying to talk to someone and go do something.Ā He doesnāt want to be kept in the mansion, but forgets that he can just go out on his own as a human.
Vic
His hair is CURLY.Ā He ended up needed glasses.Ā He turned human and kept walking into the door frame when he would leave a room.Ā Or heās just clumsy.Ā He dresses very much like Arthur, but in browns, very Victorian looking.
Bunta
Small and jumps out of windows with Dazai.Ā Loves to sit in trees.Ā But when I say small.Ā I mean this boi is a CHILD.Ā He likes to be carried and since heās so small he can get away with it.Ā Dazai thinks heās adorable.Ā He will ask him if he wants seeds and this child will scream that he wants to taste meat.Ā This kid might kill someone.
Cherie
Sheās actually very calm and sweet.Ā Sheāll watch Jean and Napoleon practice together and she gets worried when he gets hurt.Ā She loves to give him hugs but is a little upset she canāt sleep in his bed anymore.Ā She didnāt have any dresses to wear and so sheās been wearing pants and a vest, with her hair pulled back in a high ponytail.
Puck
Considering his eyes are different colors like Will, I imagine he would look like Willās little brother.Ā He is smol baby.Ā Heās got a resting bitch face and is ready to fight anyone who is mean to Will.Ā Because he is so much smaller than Will, he didnāt have clothes that would fit him so they went to the theater and got him some fitting clothes.
Thyme
Also always ready to fight.Ā Basically looks like a mini Comte, only heās got some anger issues, and hair isnāt as swoopy.Ā Something moves? WHAT IS IT.Ā But you could call him Comteās son and he would accept that.

Sheās very happy go lucky, I mean she was a lamb.Ā For the first few days she wore Sebastianās clothes, but finally went out and got a dress and itās very frilly.Ā Also her hair is a bob and his white with some curl to it.

Honestly, this whole time heās just been waiting for an appropriate amount of time to pass so he can ask you. I genuinely believe that Leonardo is the type of person who wouldāve bought a ring only a few months after having met you.
He simply cannot fathom living his life without you in it anymore. You are such a huge part of his life, of who he is; and thereās no chance he would ever want to be without you for a single second.
Heās lived such a long time, and over his many years has been invited to weddings of all kinds, and with people from all different walks of life.
Before now, however, heād simply resigned himself to the fact that that would never be him ā even though, every time, heās always secretly imagined that maybe, just maybe, one day he might find someone he could share that kind of happiness with tooā¦
Unknowingly, youāve given him his dream. The dream he never thought he could have. So, thereās no doubt heās going to try his hardest to give you your dream as well.
In the lead up to his proposal, Leonardo has planned the whole day out ā in fact, heās planned the whole week out.
He just wants to spend as much time with you as possible ā but he also wants make sure youāre feeling completely calm and happy; with nothing else to worry about so you can say yes make your decision with absolute certainty.
Youāve had less chores than ever (Leonardoās been secreting doing most of your jobs before you even get to them), everyone has been super sweet (he has genuinely threatened to cause hell if anyone dares to upset you this week), and youāve had the time to go for a little date in town every afternoon with him this week ā small trips to cafes, pretty gardens, a play youāve been looking forward to, new market places out of town, and more.
Honestly, everything has been truly perfect. A bit too perfect...?
Towards the end of the week youāre beginning to feel a little suspicious that Leonardo has something planned ā a couple of times youāve caught that familiar sparkle in his eyes and you just know he must have something up his sleeve.
Although at the same time, sometimes heās seemed a little... quieter than usual as well. Nervous?
A couple of times, during the evenings when youāre both quietly spending time in each otherās presence, Leonardo has suddenly reached out to cup your face; reverently kissing your forehead ā lingering for a moment to cherish the warmth of your soft skin against his lips ā before pulling back just a fraction to gaze at you in pure adoration, his eyes wavering with unsaid words and his lips parting just slightly before he immediately clamps his mouth shut, flashing you his usual grin instead. You can still feel the deep tremor that runs down his spine before he quickly pulls away again, however.
And in truth, for Leonardo, this whole week has indeed been almost unbearable.
He had planned out everything to the last detail for this proposal ā but thereās just one thing he didnāt account for: how absolutely desperate heās become, after all this time, to finally marry you.
At the end of this week, he would really propose to you. And you could say yes. And you could both actually get married. And thatāsā¦ everything to him.
Literally every single time he opens his mouth he has to bite his tongue to stop himself from just blurting everything out. There have been several very close calls where he has had to practically sprint out of the room and take a deep breath ā a simple smile youād flashed him nearly ruining all his meticulous planning.
As desperate as he is to finally ask you, heās also desperate for this to be perfect.
His proposal will only be between the two of you. He doesnāt want there to be any kind of crowd as he doesnāt want you to feel any pressure ā and also, he also wants your eyes only on him.
As well as that, he doesnāt like the idea of being so vulnerable in front of anyone thatās not you ā because he just knows heās going to shed a tear or two (more likely many tears this is such a huge thing for him).
I imagine for the official proposal, heād try to recreate the first ādateā (if you can call it that) that you both went on ā that is to say, a night-time boat ride on the peaceful and quiet lake a short walk from the mansion.
This time ā besides promising to NOT capsize the boat again ā heāll bring a small picnic basket containing both of your favourite foods and drinks, and also one of your favourite books (to help give the illusion that thereās certainly nothing else going on tonight)
Rowing out into the centre of the lake, where the moon shines directly down over the both of you ā like a spotlight illuminating your private little scene ā heāll carefully turn you around so that you are leaning back against his chest, one strong arm wrapped around your waist as he uses his other to feed you.
Despite all his efforts to keep his conversation sounding normal and relaxed, heās quite glad you cant see his face from this position ā he simply cannot calm the bright, hot, burning of his face; nervousness, a little embarrassment, and every single ardent emotion he feels for you slowly turning his face an almost luminous red (he imagines, at least).
Taking a deep breath, heāll ask you to sit up for a moment as he tightly winds both your fingers together and, slowly lifting them to his face, heāll press a firm kiss to your entwined hands as he raises his head properly to look you in the eye ā your beautiful eyes; eyes that almost instantly banish all his anxieties.
āY/N... Amore mio.... You are the love of my life. My soulmate. I know that my life will never be complete without you beside me to share it. Everything you do, everything you say, everything you are ā makes me so happy, warm, fulfilled, and perfectly at peace. More than I ever knew was possible. I love you. For the actual wedding, Leonardo probably already has a scrapbook full of different ideas, designs, and sketches ā and he plans on sitting down with you for a long while to discuss how everything will go.

Despite literally being Leonardo da Vinci and having hundreds of brilliant ideas and beautiful sketches already prepared, heās incredibly serious when it comes to incorporating all of your ideas too. He just wants your wedding to be the perfect balance between you both.
Heās also so down for any specific religious or cultural traditions you want or need as well, and would stay up all night reading every appropriate book he could find to make sure he does right by you.
All the residents of the mansion would be invited to your wedding, and (if itās okay with you, of course) Leonardo would probably very likely also end up inviting a lot of the people he does jobs for in town ā heās just so excited and wants to share the incredible amount love and happiness he feels with everyone heās also too popular and friendly for his own good
I donāt think Leonardo would cry or anything when he sees you walking down the aisle ā not because he doesnāt feel like crying because he definitely does but because he simply wonāt allow himself to cry as he wants to be completely able to see you. No tears are allowed to get in the way of his view of you.
This is his dream, the most wonderful moment of his life ā and you, his perfect tesoro... He just refuses to miss a single second.
Once the actual wedding ceremony is over, itās likely heāll quickly pull you aside to a private space for a short moment, hugging you so incredibly tightly as he buries his face into the crook of your neck, taking a deep inhale of the familiar scent he loves so much and beginning to softly sob. His hands around your waist are trembling as he digs his fingers into the flesh of your hips to pull you impossibly closer. You can feel how widely heās smiling against your skin, however.
Leonardo just... canāt believe this. How happy he is. How perfect you are. How wonderful life is. Heās a bit of a mess right now, so please just let him hug you for as long as he needs to pull himself together again. If you try to kiss the tears still running down his cheeks heāll probably cry harder
After everything is all over, one of Leonardoās favourite things in the world will soon become the sound of the small āclinkā both your wedding rings make as they bump against each other whenever he suddenly takes your hand. Just the little reminder of your wedding day and the fact you are both now actually married, makes his heart near jump out of his chest every single time ā”

When the idea of marriage first pops into Faustās head itās most likely because someone else had brought it up.
Heās never ever considered leaving you or letting you go for a single second, yet the idea of officially marrying you hasnāt yet occurred to him.
Faust definitely has issues concerning the subject of religion, but heās under no illusion as to how much religion can mean to others ā and how marriage is not just an official statement in front somebodyās God(s), but also a statement to everyone else that youāre his.
The wedding ring of your finger is a clear symbol of your sole devotion to him (and as much as he might try to fool himself that this is mostly about him being possessive, he... really doesnāt mind the idea of belonging to you as well).
Once these thoughts occur to him, however, he certainly canāt deny that marriage is indeed an attractive idea.
Although, at first, he will largely just brush it off. It was only a passing comment from Charles about āwhen are you finally gonna propose? Itās been agesss, and you donāt want someone else to snatch them away ā do you?~ā and he never tends to pay too much attention to the ridiculous conversations Charles interrupts him with while heās working.
But the thought of it just doesnāt let go, and it slowly begins to consume him ā popping into his head until itās all he can think about; until heās imagining your bright smile when he asks, how pretty youād look all dressed up at the wedding, how much youād both enjoy yourselves afterwards when you were finally married.
Honestly, he slowly begins to become a little........ obsessed with the idea.
I have this mental image of faust at his desk or smth just working, except all heās actually doing is writing āMr. Johann Georg-(your surname)ā in a note book with little hearts around it
Unfortunately, despite his new obsession with the idea, Faust actually has no clue how to propose.
Heās not naturally particularly romantic and genuinely has no idea how this is supposed to go ā or rather how you would want it to go.
A couple of times when heās been working in his lab, and youāve suddenly come to visit him, heās had to quickly shove all the books and papers he was looking at into a drawer out of your sight.
He would simply never recover if you saw that he was reading through a small stack of old romance novels and writing a bullet point list of different proposal and romantic confession ideas.
Honestly...... I believe that Faust would probably propose to you mid-conversation.
You had come to visit him, as you usually did at lunch-time, and you were both simply making idle conversion about how your days have been, or something interesting youāve recently come across ā but Faust is just completely spacing out, thinking about how cute you look today, how excited you seem to be with him, how happy he is to be with you and (yet again) his thoughts start drifting to the topic of marriage ā imagining your wedding day and how ā oh waitā¦ youāre still talking? What were you saying? Okay, just nod theyāll never know you werenāt listening.
Heāll end up interrupting you mid-sentence ā not that he was even aware you were mid-sentence at this point since he was so far away with his thoughts ā and proposing to you then and there.
He hadnt actually intended to, the words just seemed to tumble out of his mouth after.... hours? minutes? of daydreaming about you.
Faust is nothing if not entirely confident though, so he will just roll with it (despite your utter confusion and shock). He did truly mean the words, of course, but he will admit to himself that his timing couldāve been a little better (according to notes he made from all those novels anyway).

Faust would have the most infuriating expression as he says this, heās just smirking at you because he knows thereās no way you wonāt say yes ......right?
Itās only later in the evening ā both of you curled up together in the plush leather armchair in his room, having a quiet moment to simply bask in each-otherās warmth ā when it will hit him. He proposed today. To you. And you said yes. And that meant you would both get married. Youād be all his, and he yours.
Itās unusual for him, but Faust truly feels quite emotional. His chest feels tight, and he almost feels a little choked up. He never wouldāve imagined his life would be like this. All these small moments with you that are so warm, and comfortable, andā¦ happy.
Sighing deeply, his arms will tighten around your waist as he leans forward to press a long and passionate kiss against your lips, his cold hands trailing up the path of your spine to cup the back of your head and press you impossibly closer to him.
When you pull back to look at him in surprise, heāll only smile at you. Not his usual half-smirk, confident, self-satisfied smile ā but the softest, most adoring smile youāve ever seen him wear. Itās breathtaking, to be honest.
As for the actual wedding, Faust doesnāt really give a damn about the specific religious aspects of it, but he does really want to make it a official that you are both together. Only the two of you. Forever. And he really does want to make you happy too.
He would gladly go along with whatever specific religious and wedding traditions that you wanted ā holding his tongue despite any of his own views on religion.
He really does understand that this means a lot to you so, would truly put in all of his effort to find the exact setting, officials, clothing and everything else you might want or need.
Faust often tries to be a bit aloof and above things, but heās absolutely devoted to you and would despise to disappoint or underwhelm. Only the best for his love.
Heāll also admit that itās irresistibly cute watching you so happy and flustered. His heart just feels so muddled whenever you discuss your ideas or plans for the wedding and look so excited ā about marrying him.
When heās alone in his room or working in his lab heāll often stop for a moment to admire and gently stroke the elegant engagement (and later wedding ring) on his finger, and he simply wonāt be able to help the small and utterly love-sick smile that tugs at his lips.
I feel that Faust would prefer a smaller, private type of wedding ā ideally more of a symbolic event just between the two of you.
Although he is still happy to welcome any guests that you want; as long as he doesnāt have to put up with them for too long, he just wants you all to himself today.
And even though Faust would prefer to have a private type of ceremony between you both, Vlad and Charles would definitely completely disregard his wishes and come anyway Faust would act huffy but secretly heās a little happy, but very secretly
After youāre both officially married, Faust will use every opportunity that he can to bring it up ā constantly referring to you as āmy lovely wife/husband/spouseā and always taking hold of your hand and gently kissing the ring on your finger whenever he greets you. Heāll have the biggest smirk on his face whenever he does this, and adores seeing you blush at his actions.
However, if you ever turn the tables and do the same to him, he will be surprisingly very flustered. No matter how much time has passed, heās actually still a little emotional about the fact that youāre both married and ā despite how often he teases you ā whenever you tease him back it makes his brain just freeze for a second.
He will get ridiculously huffy and pouty when you notice just how much youāve ruffled him, and will make it his aboslute mission to turn the tables, yet again, and fluster you worse.
Heās not used to having such soft emotions, so donāt tease him too much okay? youāll only get it all back in return, anyway :) ā”
