This is Epipedobates anthonyi, a common dart frog in greenhouses, kept for biological pest control and the delight of tumblrians.
Have you heard about the Dog x Fox hybrid they found in Brazil?
it's actually a really interesting case of hybridization!
the animal in question has been genetically tested and confirmed to be a hybrid between a dog and a pampas fox, but the caveat there is that pampas foxes are actually in a new-world genus called Lycalopex, sometimes known as the False Foxes!
these animals are actually quite a bit closer to dogs than true foxes (everything in the genus Vulpes) are, genetically speaking, so it's not too hard to imagine that it COULD happen, but it's still pretty bonkers that it did!
here's the miscreant in question.
OH, also to clarify because the phylogeny tree doesn't have room to illustrate every critter, the pampas fox isn't LEGGY — that drawing of the red critter on black stilts is a maned wolf
A pampas fox or "false fox" looks like a cross between a fox and a coyote (from Wikipedia):
If i saw that here in California, I'd think it was a suspiciously chonk young coyote or a coydog.

Axolotls are often referred to as “Mexican walking fish” but they are actually amphibians that prefer to live their entire lives underwater. These remarkable creatures can regenerate almost every part of their bodies if necessary, including their spines, internal organs, and even some parts of their brains. They have a very unique appearance and are extremely popular as exotic pets, but they can also be found in captivity at zoos, laboratories, and breeding facilities. Axolotls exhibit a trait called neoteny, which means that they never outgrow their juvenile characteristics like other salamanders. For example, they have both gills and lungs. According to a 2019 International Union for the Conservation of Species assessment, only about 50 to 1000 axolotls could be found in the wild. While critically endangered, artificial selection has created many axolotl variations with different shapes, sizes, and colors not seen in nature. [A-Z Animals: Axolotl]
