late night convenience store runs were easy when you were mizuhara natsuko, she had a knack of keeping herself hidden, without seeming like she was going to steal something. however, tonight; she’s s startled by a box that falls off of the shelf. she pulls the white baseball off of her head, looking down at the box with wide eyes. natsuko hadn’t touched anything, and the box pushing criminal was nowhere to be seen. a figure emerges at the end of the isle; and for a moment, she believes it’s a cashier, checking out the disturbance. she’s lucky because it’s only jung jaeseok. she’s rather shocked to be seeing the rookie idol in a convenience store, that didn’t seem to be his style, well, so she thought. “i-i didn’t touch anything.” natsuko stutters, in a squeak, looking down at the box which had toppled from the shelves. she looks the older male up and down, before averting her eyes, going back to the products which still stood upright on shelves.
natsuko squints as he continues to talk. she’s not entirely sure what to say in this situation, but she’s sure that she has enough korean in her to do something about it. although she will admit, he is bothering her. “myth or not, at least i’m not the one being childish.” she crosses her arms across her chest, and turning on her heels as she walks away from the scene, leaving the boy behind her. she rolls her eyes as jaeseok begins to spill a really bad pun. why was he bothering her, was he following her? also, why was he being rude. had he forgotten she was his sunbae? she looks back over her shoulder with a glare. “i didn’t make a mess, but you did, so do something about it.”
" childish ? “ confusion seeped onto his features. naturally, this was quickly wiped clean from his face once jaeseok realized his real actual emotions were on display for the world. “ hey ! i’m not picking this up because you told me to ... “ He calls out to the girl, unsure if she was still listening to him as she walked away. his voice fell into a hushed tone as he continued. a minuscule admittance of defeat. “ i’m doing it of my own free will. “ now was a time of choices. jaeseok could leave their night ended here, or he could push further — as far as she would let him. He chose the latter, in natural jaeseok fashion. Grabbing a hold of the box on the floor, he followed quickly behind the smaller girl. In one step, he stood in front of natsuko blocking her path.
“ i’m sorry if i offended you. was it ‘danny suko’ ? do you hate grease ? do you hate all musicals ? ” he asked brow raised. “if i’m being honest, i’ve been working on that one for a while now and no laugh ? it cut me deep. “ his left hand graced his chest and an expression of faux pain swept over his face, as his right hand clutched tighter the box. for a brief moment, jaeseok closed his mouth long enough to read his surroundings ( he’s always had a tough time reeling in his words no matter the time of the day. ) natsuko was angry. justifiable. would jaesek ever sincerely admit that? no, but that pit in his stomach was sneaking in again and he’d do whatever to make it go away. “ let me make it up to you. i’ll buy you something. ” ( you a synonym for moon wonjae‘s company card. ) his eyes darted down to the box in his hand, twirling it around for a brand. “ I’ve got choco boys, hmm ? ” a smile slid on to his face; one normally reserved for broadcasts. it was 70% sincere.
