touch me till i vomit
vomiting is the last truly pure state available to humans in the digital age. in that brief moment, one completely disconnects from the stream of thoughts, from the hustle and anxieties, and becomes entirely absorbed in absolute focus on the present—on the here and now. it's a form of meditation, triggered not by conscious practice but by physiological necessity—when the entire world narrows down to a single action. ideally, the same should happen during defecation—a moment when a person should fully disconnect from the external world and focus on their body, on natural processes.
but in today's world, this has become nearly impossible due to the all-pervasive influence of smartphones. people can't tear themselves away from screens for a minute—even in those moments when nature demands complete inward focus. interestingly, there's an unspoken rule: nobody looks at their phone when they're vomiting. it's like the last bastion where technology retreats before primal human nature.
but if someone ever breaks this unwritten law—if someone starts filming or scrolling through their feed mid-vomit—it would signal a final loss of connection with something fundamentally human. it would be a sign that we have definitively lost the boundary between the real and the virtual, between body and screen. as if the very essence of human nature, its primal purity and authenticity, has finally left us, making way for mindless content consumption even in the most intimate, the most pristine moments of life.
