Hi Iko here! This blog will take you through the main events that happen in Cress, the 3rd installment of the Lunar Chronicles.

(Cinder) Kai just woke up.

Aaaand he’s freaking out hardcore.

Kai: “Do you even have a plan? Levana will kill us any minute now!” Me: “Kai. Calm down. We have Princess Selene.” Kai: “You do? Where is she?” Me: “*Sighs* I’m Princess Selene.”

10 min. Later

Kai kissed me. Unfortunately, it was interrupted by an unsettling newsfeed:

Kai: “…I think it’s time you told me this plan.”

Me: “I’m not just their Princess, Kai. I’m their revolutionary. So I’m going to Luna, and I’m going to start a revolution.”

(Scarlet) Princess Winter

I wake up in a super tiny cage, with my right pinky not there. Not only that, but I'm still stuck on Luna. There's this beautiful strange girl who says "We are going to be best friends forever". I think she was the girl who had argued with Levana before I have my pinky hacked off. Oh. Right. I'm her "pet" now. Didn't Queen Levana refer to her as Princess?She's Princess Winter! 

Me: "I'll never trust you. You're a Lunar, full of deception. Stop trying to convince me with your lies!"

She stared at me for a long time and whispered, "You should know that I have never used my glamour since I was 12. Since I was able to control it."

The elevator doors opened, and the Rampion was waiting for us. Or at least that’s what we thought… 

We all started to relax and rejoice, because we thought that our plan worked. Suddenly, Sybil Mira walked out of the Rampion with 6 other Lunar guards!

Sybil Mira then used her Lunar abilities to control Wolf!! She targeted Cinder, while Thorne, Cress and I tried to beat off the other Lunar guards. It looks like Cinder is trying to get a hold of Sybil’s mind too. It takes a lot of concentration, and Wolf is about to eat her! Eek!

(Cress) IKO Iko jumped onto Wolf and tried to distract him from Cinder. *Crack!* She only distracted him for 2.5 seconds before Wolf twisted her head; her skin grafting tore around her neck. 

Thorne: What happened?

Cress: I think we just lost Iko. Thorne, the guards are getting back up, and Wolf is about to kill Cinder!

Thorne: I guess it’s time.

Cress: Time for wha-

And that’s when Thorne kissed me.

Right after the kiss, we were back into action. After disabling 4 guards, a delirious scream that was made up of pain and agony split through the wind. As I turned around, I saw Sybil Mira on the floor, twitching and digging her nails into her scalp.  She was definitely not a threat anymore; she wasn't controlling Wolf, and the 2 other guards were already too injured to get up. Cinder still looked unconscious.

Thorne: Maybe we just need to reboot her...

Cinder: *Snaps awake* Don't you dare try to reboot me, Thorne. C-could someone grab Iko and Kai? We're running out of time, and if Sybil was here, that probably means that they took Jacin.

(Cinder) Seeing Thorne come out, and Dr. Erland in the quarantines.

Dr. Erland. Letumosis actually being a Lunar-made disease. Levana intentionally wanting Lunars to flee to Earth with the plague, that they may destroy Earthens as well. Cress being Dr. Erland’s daughter. All of this Dr. Erland found out, and yet now he tells us. 

Sadly, we don’t have time to spend our last moments with him; we have to go. Jacin is waiting.

(Cress) ...Father?

Dr. Erland is my father. I finally got to meet my father. My father is alive. My father is dying. I don't know how to react; I have never known him, but he is dying. Cinder is pulling me away. I can't manage to say "I love you" back to Dr. Erland.

"G-goodbye."

(Cinder) We got Kai.

Phew. It turns out I had to use one of my tranquilizer darts on Kai. He doesn't know that I'm the missing Princess Selene, and was unwilling to come with me.

I got my dress for the wedding, and Wolf has his suit for the special occasion too. We got past the security guards(legally) and are currently inside the New Beijing Palace. Several guards have left their usual posts and are heading to the labs! That probably means that Thorne and Dr. Erland made it. Thank the Heavens. Next step: sneaking into the security control center.

We got into the security control center! A lot of guards are coming after us!!

I’m turning off all security systems, while Wolf is beating up all the guards. 

*58 seconds later*

I've got all control of the elevators, cameras, alarms, identity-encoded software, scanners, and most importantly, I severed all the Lunar spyware. Right now all I have to do is give clearance to Cinder and Iko, so they can make a clean escape with Emperor Kai. Once they are done, we meet them at the medical labs to get Thorne and Dr. Erland.

(Thorne) Escape Tunnels aren't that fun...

I am currently in an escape tunnel with a nervous cyborg girl and an old man who is upset with a Crescent Moon. All of us are sweaty, and I’m blind, so I don’t know if I’m going to trip on something. This plan has to work.

We finally made it to the labs. Cinder went to meet up with Iko, so it's just me and crazy Dr. Erland. He's making the eye drops right now. He's been really quiet...  "Hey, Doc, something wrong?"

Dr. Erland: Oh! N-no, nothing to worry about. I put the instructions on your portscreen. 

"Instructions for who? Can't I just ask you if there's something wrong?"

Dr. Erland: I won't be returning with you. I've just diagnosed myself with letumosis. I shall be quarantining myself in this little room. Don't worry about me. But, please. Show that portscreen to my dear Crescent Moon. It contains information about her...family.

How To Stop A Royal Wedding: A Tutorial Made By Cinder.

*Thorne, Jacin, Wolf, Cress, and Iko are listening to Cinder describe the plan. She wants to stop Levana from marrying, and wants to steal the groom (Emperor Kai). Then, the crew will sneak into Luna.*

On the night of the wedding, Cress and Wolf will use the invitations that I stole from Adri. Cress, once you're in, hang around for a bit, and go to the security control center  and disable the palace security system. Wolf, you'll cover her. 

Meanwhile, Iko and I will track down Kai. Cress said that I could use the escape tunnels, so that I wouldn't have to deal with guards. Now, Iko, since you have an escort-droid body, you can sneak into one of the podships that are shipping the 100 escort droids to the New Beijing Palace. Then we'll meet up and find Kai. {Both Cinder and Iko can download maps systems so they can both track each other and Kai.} 

We will all meet on the rooftop, and Jacin will fly us away like nothing ever happened. 

Thorne: Doesn't New Beijing Palace have it's own labs? That way Dr. Erland can hopefully get my eyes fixed. 

Cinder: You're not going. Too dangerous.

Thorne: Oh, come on, Cinder. When Cress takes out the secrurity system, all the guards will be running to one of the two places: the security center to see what's going on, or to whether where the precious Emperor Kai is. Unless some other huge disturbance is going on, that's far away from you guys, say, the medical labs? 

Jacin: He's finally said something smart. 

Cinder: *Sighs* Fine. I guess you and Dr. Erland can come with me through the escape tunnels. Sounds good?

Jacin: You do know that even if this plan did somehow magically work, Levana will cancel the cease-fire, and another war will break out.

Cinder: Jacin doesn't even know that I'm Princess Selene... I understand that. If we succeed, we will be starting a war.

(Thorne) Getting my eyes checked

Dr. Erland is checking my eyes right now, and in order to fix it, he said that he had to take bone marrow from my pelvis and then put it into my eyes. Unfortunately, he would need a proper lab to do all his stuff. He started mumbling about his lab in the Eastern Commonwealth's palace. I really hope all goes well. Phew, I am tried.

(Iko) Kai's Wedding Partayyy!!!!

OMG! So I was looking at the wedding information (I kinda hacked into their database and downloaded all their files nothing too serious) and like I saw the invitations list and I see

145. Lee Ervin 146. Linh Adri 147. Linh Pearl (Linh Adri and Linh Pearl was Cinder's evil stemother and step sister, respectively)

I seriously cannot believe that they are invited!! And not only that, they are ordering 100+ escort droids to be delivered on the day of the wedding!! (Queen Levana and other Lunars can't control droids.)Talk about sneaky Emperor Kai!  

So I just told Cinder the news, and she says that she's going to use her glamour and get the invitations from her Step-mother, Lihn Adri. :D

(Iko) THIS IS THE BEST PRESENT EVER!!!!!

So Thorne just got me the best present ever!!! I finally have arms, legs, ooooo and hair!! I love my new body! It's much better than being stuck in the ship. If you're wondering who's controlling the ship, I just switched my ID Chip with the one that came with this escort-droid body.

(Cinder) Princess Winter?

So apparently Jacin doesn't know that I'm Princess Selene at all. When he said, "I only serve the Princess", he meant Princess Winter, Levana's child. #Awkward

After I was taken away by Sybil Mira, I was forced to fly her podship to planet Luna. Now that we are here, I am always under somebody's control. I'm always either locked up, controlled by Sybil, or being tortured by an 8 year Lunar's "gifts". 6 days later, I was brought to this funny looking courtroom.  Levana was gorgeous. 

I was fooled for a second, until I remembered that they all had their glamour on. Sybil Mira started interviewing me, and I started to tell the story of the escaped Lunar Princess Selene. Before I could finish, Sybil froze my lips. However, I managed to get my point through. Levana was uncomfortable. Then, one of the Lunar servants brought out a chopping block and a hachet. 

I gulped. This wouldn’t end well. Sybil Mira asked me where Cinder was headed, but I honestly didn’t know. That’s when my body was not in my control, but in Sybil Mira’s. My left arm pulled the hachet out of the chopping block, and was about to swing, until a lilting voice came out of the blue. 

"My Queen, May I have her? She would make a lovely pet. They are never fun after you have broken them. ...Father would have given it to me."

Annoyed, Levana replied, "You may have her, but only after I am done with her. Do not interrupt me again, Princess Winter."

A Princess. A Princess? I looked up, but before I could even see her, The hachet dropped down on my pinky finger.

(Cinder) Thorne and his ladies...

Right in front of Dr. Erland’s clinic is a human with overly-perfect makeup, beautiful skin, and blue hair. Not only that, I couldn’t sense anything from her; aka, I couldn’t control her. She knew who I was and talked about Thorne being “oh so heroic”. That’s definitely a sign that Thorne’s back. 

(Cinder) I REALLY HOPE WE MAKE IT OUT OF HERE

Thorne is back!! Not only that, Cress is too! (Apparently that “human" back there was an escort-droid) We are finally making some progress! Sadly, we still don’t have Scarlet. Wolf is still in his dying-state; he doesn’t move, doesn’t respond. Ever since we told him that Scarlet was taken away, he has been acting like this. Anyways, We have to head out soon and get back to the Rampion before the authorities come for us-

"YOU ARE UNDER ARREST. COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS ON YOUR HEAD. WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED."

Stars. They're already here. Thorne, Dr. Erland, Jacin, and Cress are already outside with their hands up. Wolf won’t move, and I can only control one person at a time. 

I slowly walked out of the building and managed to painfully control 5/100 soldiers. This would be a bloodbath. 

Just when I thought that this would be impossible to get out of, I hear the townspeople (who are all Lunars) come out and threaten the troops. They controlled all 100 soldiers (it wasn’t easy), which let us get back to the Rampion. Now I have a even greater passion to destroy Queen Levana; to help the townspeople. Not just to help Kai, but also for these townspeople who have risked their lives for me.

(Cinder) Thorne? Alive?

Iko: Oh! Cinder! Look what I found in the newsfeeds!

Cinder: Wait… Iko, are you serious? I thought Thorne was dead!

Iko: Apparently not! 

Cinder: Iko, get ready for a take-off soon. The authorities will be here any minute. I’ll go get the others.

Iko: Gotcha!

(Cress) Yay or Nay?

I was using the netscreen in one of the rooms and it turns out one of Levana's lunar wolf-hybrid monsters were there!!!!

He was about to kill me, and then another one of Levana's lackeys came in!! (I think he was the pilot for Mistress Sybil!) They started arguing, which I don't really get, because aren't they both on the same side??

The Lunar pilot/ guard for Sybil mentioned Cinder, and Wolf calmed down, and I was like: (Cinder is here!!)

AND THEN that really short doctor; I believe his name was Dr. Erland, came in!!! He seemed really annoyed. He tried to calm everybody down, but I didn't want him to touch me! Suddenly, Thorne came rushing into the room! Well, at first he went into the wrong room, but what matters is that he saved me!  Cress: 

I tried to warn him about the Lunar guard and the wolf-hybrid, but he just started to smile. It turns out that the Lunar guard's name is Jacin, and he betrayed Mistress Sybil!! The wolf-hybrid is also a friend of Cinder, and Dr. Erland helped Cinder escape prison. I guess these people aren't a threat after all.

(Cress) Where in the Universe am I.

The van finally came to a stop. We’re still in Africa, and the heat is killing me. There’s no hope. Thorne won’t come for me. I’m going to get killed and my dead body will be dumped into the scorching hot African desert- Oh Stars, they are bringing me into a clinic! Are they going to drug me and run tests just like Mistress Sybil?!

There’s an old man named Dr. Erland inside! Jina is asking for money; Oh my Stars! Am I being sold? Lunar trafficking? What?  NO JINA DON’T LEAVE AT LEAST TAKE ME WITH YOU

Update: 

After Jina left, I hit the old doctor in the head and left the room. I didn’t go out of the clinic because I knew that Jina and the others would find me and take me back immediately. Instead, I found an unlocked room with a netscreen. I’m hoping that through this netscreen, I’ll be able to contact Cinder again, and also find out where I am.
