Here's one screenshot from every video I've worked on over the past year and a half... whether it was something small like a few shots, or some lip sync, to designing some characters, or in a few cases doing the entire animation as a commission. I still get a lot of comments asking if I'm "dead" or whatever, but if you watch cartoons on youtube then chances are good you've seen some of my recent work without realizing it. By no means is this everything I've done over the past while either, just the things I'm able point to (for now). I'm working on TV stuff at the moment but will have some personal videos done before the end of the year. At the beginning of January 2022 (nearly two years ago now), I permanently ended my involvement with the Yo Mama channel. I'd been there since the beginning, and had single-handedly created all of the characters, style, and much of the format. The only other main animator also left at the beginning of this year. I'll probably talk more about that another time. Thanks to Flashgitz, Lythero, and Meat Canyon for keeping me figuratively and literally alive while I've been deciding on what to do with myself next. And thanks to everyone else for hanging in there, or taking a minute to read this. brb

I couldn't seem to nail the angles/scale on Arthur's key for a Lythero UMVC3 video, and got stuck enough on this that remaking it in Blender for reference somehow actually saved time.

I thought I was being clever for this, but it turns out that (of course) people use this approach all the time for everything from backgrounds to character angles. So uh yeah if you're in 2D it's worth it to learn a bit of 3D jsyk ✌️
