Lost word
There’s a word I encountered which means a person who is calm and rational, or one who keeps his emotions in check. Can you please help me find this word?Â

prompt: the ice giants won, instead of the asgardians. the king of the ice giants, loki’s father, found thor when he was a baby, and decided to adopt him and bring him up as an ice giant, along with Loki. how would things be different?
Oh wow that prompt could take so many routes. I got kind of excited thinking about it, so I had to write a little blurb that doesn’t even begin to describe all the things I would want in this world. I would think that they would be closer than they would be in Asgard, because really, I’m not sure Laufey would have a lot of love for either of them so they would only have each other. He’d be a neglecting father and Thor and Loki would join together and usurp him. A summary of my fantasy would be something like:
Loki was abandoned during the war because his size was thought to be a weakness. Laufey didn’t think he’d survive until he was found years after the war, a clever child with strong magic.
Thor on the other hand was taken from Asgard for the purpose of keeping the peace, a hostage. His appearance was changed into that of an ice giant, his origins were kept from him and he was raised alongside Loki as a brother.  Even though Laufey could alter Thor’s appearance, he could not change his abilities so while Thor’s strength and ability to fight was on par with the other ice giants, he could not control ice and could not touch the others without getting frostbitten. The exception was Loki. Loki was different.
In the beginning, their clashing personalities repelled one another but as they grew, they found that they could fill their inadequacies by borrowing each other’s strength. When Loki was overwhelmed physically, Thor would fight off their enemies. When Thor was in trouble Loki would get them out with his wit or when he was hurt Loki would use magic to heal him. The brothers naturally fell together when their father refused the throne to his almost-sons, because when they think about it, it seems like they were meant to be one person born as two. And as one they took what was theirs.
well damn, that gave me so much to think about.
"like they were meant to be one person born as two."
Time
Well, y'all know what they say. Everything falls into place--all in the right time.
Or something like that.

So maybe I should blog again...
Hello,
This blog is not dead. :) I was gone for a while, but if you're reading this, why, thank you very much for taking the time.
Expect more posts from me in the future. I guess. :3

Made this coin purse because I can't sleep.
I want to be a witch. With all the Harry Potter spells and stuff. I'd selectively obliviate some stuff from my head too if possible.
I used to like the silent in betweens. Now, I'm not so sure the silence is as lovely as it was before.
Pain makes man think. Thought makes man wise. Wisdom makes life endurable.

"It is such a secret place, the land of tears"
Let a scream out.
Kick a wall
but never let a teardrop fall.
Punch my chest.
Pull my hair.
Stop and have a vacant stare.
Feel it burningÂ
in my eyes
teardrops from
a hundred lies.
I tried.
I failed.
The teardrops fell.
But to himÂ
I'll never tell.

I don't leave questions unanswered. When I do, it's either I don't want to talk about it or I know you can't handle what I'll tell you.
Remember not the things that a person did to make you feel hurt, but those which make this person worth hurting for.
i have a lot to say you just have to ask the right questions
