Coffee at the @thepocketelarish
We accidentally found the cutest little coffee shop hidden in Bingil Bay near Mission Beach… and honestly, this is exactly the kind of place that makes Far North Queensland so special ☕️🌴
Somewhere between the rainforest and the reef. 🌴🌊
Found this guy walking down the beach this morning. 😳
One more clue…
If you love Kauaʻi, you’d probably love this place too.
Any guesses? 👇
Sometimes the best plan is no plan at all.
Living on Kauaʻi, it's easy to forget how special the Nā Pali Coast really is.
For many visitors, a day exploring it by private boat is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Who's the first person you'd bring? 🌊
We live in the sun. We love the sun. But loving the sun doesn’t mean pretending UV damage isn’t real.⛱️
Our take: get outside, get your ocean time, wear a broad-spectrum SPF, reapply, use shade when you can, and don’t treat sunscreen like the enemy.
And when your skin has had a long beach day, rinse off, cool down, and give your skin some calm. We love using one of our organic sea soaks or salt scrubs to help wash away leftover sunscreen, salt, sweat, and tanning oil residue from the day.
If you’ve had a little too much sun, our Lani Lifeguard hypochlorous acid spray has become a go-to for calming hot, irritated skin after long beach days.
What do you think, has the sunscreen conversation gone too far, or do people still not take it seriously enough?
There’s something about Hawaiʻi that reminds you how important it is to slow down.
Places like the spa at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua create space to actually disconnect, recharge, and reset for a moment.
If you could escape to any hotel or spa in Hawaiʻi for a few days, where would you choose? 🌺
Hidden amongst the coconut trees just off the bike path on the east side of Kapaʻa sits Waves Yoga Kauai 🤍
One of those places that immediately feels grounding.
Lulu has such an intuitive understanding of the human body, movement, and healing. But the people and energy she’s created around that knowledge are what make Waves unforgettable.
Just really good humans in a really beautiful little corner of Kauaʻi.
If we could pick one place on Earth to spend the whole day… it’d be right here 🌴🌊
Ocean. Sun. Gratitude
Not everything in Hawaiʻi needs a resort. Some places speak for themselves ⛱️
If you’re visiting Kauaʻi with kids, add this to your list 🌴
Coffee from Pineapple Express ☕️ Train rides through the old plantation 🚂 Kōloa Rum tasting for the adults 🍹
The old plantation railway once carried sugar cane through this part of Kauaʻi, and today it’s one of those slow island experiences that ends up becoming one of your favorite memories from the trip.
Sea salt, ocean air, sun on your skin. Nature already made the recipe.
