It’s almost like you saw him as a wall of protection, more than a demon with many links and connections to get what you want. You took time to sit next to him, to hear his thoughts on various topics. You took time to share your interests, from the human world. Books and television shows and movies and collections and pranks to try on Lucifer.

Sitting with him in the tent inside the house they bought in the human world, felt almost natural. Holding hot drinks in both pair of hands, smiles were painted on the faces as both of you were watching the movie on his DDD. Having you near him, alone in the house, no brothers to steal you from him, that made him feel elated. It wasn’t supposed to be this important to him but it is. Feeding the kitten with your help was fun, holding your breath as the small creature sniffed the food. You smiled at him when it began to eat, you were happy for him. He didn’t like to share his bed, it felt un-natural to him. He always slept alone. But with you and the kitten, who hissed at the cat bed, in his bed, Satan wanted to take a picture of the moment. His heart mellowed at the sight.

Now Satan loved to spend his alone time with you, reading and watching movies. He loved to go to cat cafes and parks and glass gardens, near you and sometimes holding your hand. He loved to make coffee for you when he studied in his room. He looked forward to how you’d feel about his latest latte art. He loved to wait for you in the library and pull your seat when you come close. He loved to scribble on your paper in the peaceful silence, watching your reactions.

Was this falling in love? Are you the one who is made for him? Are you, a human, the one poets describe as what supposedly to be his other half? The better half of him? Could things work out for you and him? He hoped so. It would make his life a bit sweeter.
