Here how’s to refashion your used candle containers:
You’ll need a few items to get started:
A used candle that can no longer be burned
We used the Dylan Ceramic, Large Vanity Tin, and Enameled Tumbler in the examples above
Space in your freezer to place a candle
Butter knife
Soap & water
Instructions:
Place the jar in the freezer. A couple hours should do the trick. This will loosen the sides of the wax from the jar.
Break up the wax with a butter knife. It should break apart easily and come right out of the jar with little effort. (*Practice caution when using the butter knife, so you don’t hurt yourself)
Peel off all labels from the jar. If you happen to have leftover adhesive or label pieces, try some Goo Gone on the area.
Wash the jar and lid with soap and water.
Now you have a clean empty candle jar, ready to be used for just about anything you like!
(*We do not recommend reusing for edible items)
Behind the Scenes: Hand pouring candle pillars. Here our team is allowing Blackberry Absinthe fragrance pillars cool to take form. 👌🏼👍🏽 #madeinminnesota
