How do you feel about shiny Pokemon? Doesn't their coloring make them easier for predators to find?

"Shiny Pokemon? Hmm... I feel that humans put too much importance on their different coloring. Because of their rarity, some humans hunt them down, or breed Pokemon without a thought for the impact of their actions. The shiny Pokemon that are born in the wild have to deal with trainers that constantly hunt them down... I feel sorry for them. Because of a genetic factor, they end up being hunted down by humans mercilessly, and just to be used as a trophy..."

"... It seems like a sad fate..." He sighed, shaking his head a little. "As for the predators, there is nothing that can be done. The humans are my main concern - Pokemon will always hunt other Pokemon, that is just how the world goes. It's saddening that some have to die for others to live, but it's the circle of life."

The morning being when the human is a child, and walks on all fours... the noon being when the human is an adult, and stands on their hind legs... and the evening being once they are old, and using a cane...?"

"I don't have any Pokemon. They are my friends, and they are free to come and go as they please. As for helping Silver, I have a few friends I could call to - I chose to go for Archeops, given that I know he stays nearby most of the time. He wasn't too fond of the idea of helping, but he complied with my request."

"I've heard of Orre, but Reshiram didn't take me there during our travels. It seems like a rather... hostile place for Pokemon, given what the organizations in there do. I'd go there - without a doubt! I may not be much of a hero, but at least, I could try to help my friends. They don't deserve to suffer like they do in there."

It wasn't difficult to locate Archeops - and, once N asked for his help, the flying type didn't waste time before he took off, flapping his wings to send the pollen away from Silver. With a small growl, the Archeops landed next to N and folded his wings, raising his head proudly as N stroked his scales and thanked him quietly.

Hearing N’s words, he realized what a fool he’d been in admitting that he had gone looking for him two years ago. At the time, Blair hadn’t thought about much of chasing after someone he thought would be lost within the world of humanity. Even though he failed in finding him during his journey, he reassured himself that N would be fine as long as he was with his Pokémon. With that in mind, it had been much easier on him to return to Unova without any success.

Feeling embarrassed on top of frustrated, he still refused to turn around to face N. Even when he heard him take steps closer, he didn’t budge, no matter how badly he wanted to spin around to look him in the eyes. However, when the former Plasma King spoke again, he found his shoulders slumping in defeat at his sincere apology. Fists shaking, Blair slowly craned his head around, gazing at N with an expression of mixed emotions.

“I…” he began, pausing and sighing heavily. “Don’t bother apologizing to me about the past. I’ve looked past all of that, it’s just… I never expected to see you again, you know? I thought for sure that you’d run off to never return to this place. Now you’re here all of a sudden and I don’t really know how to react. At first, I was angry, but now… I don’t know.”

Rubbing the side of his neck, Blair sighed again. “Y-Yeah, I went to look for you shortly after you took off on Reshiram… It wasn’t an easy decision, leaving my home behind like that in hopes of finding just one person, but I thought that you’d be lost in a world unfamiliar to you. That’s all, really… Clearly, you didn’t need any help. You… you look just fine to me.”

N stayed quiet, taking in the way Blair's shoulders dropped, the way his hands were closed in fists. He wasn't sure what to think - would the boy turn around and punch him? He certainly deserved it. If that was it, then he would take it, he decided, keeping his head low and his shoulders slumped.

As Blair finally turned around, N glanced up at him, puzzled - he couldn't even begin to understand the emotions flashing through his eyes, or the tone of his voice. Fiddling with the void cube nervously, he listened to Blair intently. Hesitating, he gave the boy a small smile.

"... It's still an unfamiliar world to me, Blair." He explained carefully, and Zoroark took a small step forward, his ears pressed against his head. "I... there isn't much I can say I understand, I'm afraid. I've spent the past two years searching for my truth, but... I haven't accomplished that. I don't believe I got even close to it..."

The irony wasn't lost on him - the Hero of Truth that didn't know the truth. That had been raised on lies. However, he wasn't truly a hero, was he? Taking a small step forward, he lowered his gaze again, focusing on the void cube at his waist.

"... I... appreciate your concern. I understand how difficult it must have been, and... I appreciate it. I truly do. I still apologize for the past, even if you tell me not to. It was... a huge mistake, and it would have horrible consequences I had accomplished my goal... and it was thanks to you that I was stopped." He tugged at his cap, glancing up at Blair. "... I apologize for leaving. I never thought it would make a difference for you if I was here or not... truth to be told, I believed that... you'd be better off with me leaving. Leave all the things related to that mistake behind... and I apologize if it bothered you. It wasn't my intention."

“I see. I’m sure you had a lot to think about.” Cheren responded. At least they could relate there. “Like your ideals…are they the same…?” he asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice. He had to know. Was this the same N who wanted to take away everyone’s Pokemon, or has he also changed?

"Indeed, I had..." He looked down at the question, trying to choose his words carefully. He had expected the mistrust, of course, but it didn't mean he had an answer ready for it. Fiddling with his void cube, he hesitated for a moment before shaking his head, tugging his cap lower before he started talking again.

"... My ideals started falling apart long before, but I can say that... they crumbled down the moment Reshiram and I lost at the castle, before I left. I... I understand now that I was wrong - I was tricked into believing that, and... because of that, I caused you and your friends a lot of trouble and pain. I apologize for the issues. The only defense I have is that I believed I was doing the right thing... but good intentions are hardly any defense at all, and I have no intention of pretending I didn't do anything."
