I used to think Jax was sad in this scene because she felt bad for Ragatha, but apparently, she made this face because she was reminded of HER OWN abusive mother. Jax always cared about her own pain more than anyone else's, huh.

When Ribbit opens up to Jax and tells her about their Mormon parents, Jax doesn't react at all. She doesn't say "I'm sorry" or even "That sucks" or anything like that. Instead the scene plays out like this:

Thinking about the whole Bolypius being a foil to Miko and Five. Both of them have shown to be creative (Miko) and adaptable (Five), what if Bolypius was more creatively sterile only copying from others hence how it got so intelligent but…also why its limited it has to mimic others to adapt.
