anyway, stupid idea for a story:

it starts in 3rd person, narrating the adventures of a small group of adventures.

it then reveals that it was actually a 2nd person story, from the perspective of a spy - following and watching them.

at some point, the spy loses their memory - and the final reveal is made; all of this was actually was actually a story told to the spy by another character, to help them remember. and the actual prose of the story is in 1st person.
