One morning I was awoken by the deep, continuous humming of something. It kept growing louder and louder, sounding to me like the tortured moans of 600 ghosts, and was VERY unnerving to say the least. I chanced a peak out of my window, hopeful to catch a glimpse of whatever the hell had been going on.

...And that’s when I realized just how incredibly fucked I actually was.

Hordes of actual zombies were gathering outside of my house, and all I had left to take them on with was a snack box, graphics card, $10 of TouchTunes credits, 3 tickets to a concert, and a short, young adult e-book.

I was positive I’d make it out alive.

I am definitely not a dancer. I have never danced in my life. I can’t do it, I look dumb doing it, and I don’t want to do it at all.

But my mother, sisters and I have always danced in the kitchen. We sway together and bust stupid moves, usually to break the boredom of cooking. It might look silly, but it’s a tradition.

And to be honest, it’s probably one of the best ones we have.
