2. He also rejected Obama’s historic directive to allow transgender students to use their preferred bathrooms.

3. He voted against employment protections for LGBTQ people nationwide.

4. He believes marriage equality will cause a “societal collapse.”

5. He was a fan of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and of keeping LGBTQ people out of the military.  

6. He caused an entire HIV outbreak when he shut down Planned Parenthood in Indiana.

Number 7 could have horrific ramifications on LGBTQ youth.
