Hi Zak. Hope you don’t mind that I’m posting from your account. Since you don’t use Tumblr I wanted to bless your account with this wonderful message.
I love you so so so so much and you are the best part of my life and always will be. You make me a happy person and you give my life meaning, even on the most awful days. I can’t imagine life without you and hope I will never have to.
Thank you for making the past year and 11 months of my life so great and thank you for always being there for me. You are the most wonderful person in the whole world.

1 trick to improving at video games and 1 thing to be VERY careful about: so the trick to improvement, don’t get over zealous. one of the mistakes that I see new players do literally every day is that they think they can get the kills so when people need them to do something they rush in, die, and lose us a round or possibly the game. just this last match I was playing CS:GO and we had 3 relatively new players. they told everyone that they were MG smurfs but everyone knew that they were new because they sucked and made a lot of new player mistakes. the first mistake lost us the game because we were 1 round from losing as T side and our new player bomb carrier was sitting on top of the site with 25 seconds remaining and one enemy alive. there were 2 ways we could win this round, plant the bomb and give us more options or kill the CT before the time ended. we told the new player to plant the bomb but instead he ran after the CT who was smart enough to notice the time and it lost us the game because the CT killed the new player with 5 seconds remaining and no time to get things done. the other time another new player lost us the round, again by time. there was 1 CT left the was sitting at A bomb site (for new players there are 2 sites) and the person sitting there was their superstar player who carried them super hard but we eventually won the game later. our team was originally pushing that site but we realized that the other site had nobody one it so we told the new player bomb carrier to plant on the other site. but because he was so scared of dying he took the long way with his gun out (holding your gun out makes you slower) and lost us the round by time even though we knew exactly where the CT was and the new player was in no danger of going a faster route. but these players where over zealous about getting kills and staying alive to the point where they lost us a lot. listen to your team, play around the objective, you will improve your map sense and game sense just by doing this.
now, one thing to be very careful about in video games. listen to tips but don’t be obsessive about it. one example is bhavik, he gets obsessive about certain things and despite it being good information he ends up doing bad with it. its like prescription drugs, its good when they tell you its good, but once you start popping the pills too much it ruins its benefits. for example, I am a veteran CS:GO player and I play with settings that I find comfortable and I can do well with. but bhavik who has never played CS:GO tells me that I should lower my mouse sensitivity because the pros do it and tells me to increase my FOV. no, new players don’t do this. it is an experiment to find out what setting you feel comfortable with and it is very nice to take pro information and apply it to your setup BUT if you do so in a way that you are uncomfortable with they you will probably play worse. bhavik is a person who has never played the game before and will not understand that great players don’t have to do some things and those tips don’t apply to them because they are good enough to work around it. now for a league example, bhavik is the kind of person that if he hears a pro player say an item is good to buy, he will buy that specific item religiously. even if its not a good item to buy and we will tell him, he responds with “no youre wrong [enter pro persons name here] says that its good. yes the item is good but only in that pro game’s specific scenario. he often takes information, goes by it religiously, and then forgets it later on when his head is filled with new shit. there are some things that are good that he learns, a while ago it was "permissions” and he learned that sometimes you don’t have “permission” to go places even though hes often wrong and is blind because if I see the enemy jungler at top lane 5 seconds ago, you are free to go into the jungle bot lane to ward. “but tien, I don’t know where the jungler is so I don’t have permission to go there” bhavik shut up and listen to me and just do it. I don’t have time to explain to you that you are safe and you don’t have time to tell me how pro players do this and that, unlike bhavik, I already know. hes been playing for like 2 years now, hes still learning, I find it really funny how he insists hes better than me. ill humor him, let him believe himself because otherwise he gets super salty. guys, don’t get salty. in the future I will complain about bhaviks shit more because hes on video game hiatus.
I just started playing competitive on cs go and am 4 wins from getting my rank and this was very helpful thanks!

My god I love her.
I know people are gonna get salty af about this but by God she’s RIGHT.
When Brad Pitt did Fight Club, he was cutting weight for every single scene to maintain his physique at 155. I’ve you’ve ever cut weight, you know how horrible that must have been. He did it because they needed a “look”.
Changing Tatum said his Magic Mike body doesn’t last for more than five days. He starved down and dehydrated his already fit physique for a “look”.
The male soldiers on Spartacus: Blood and Sand were eating pretty much chicken and veggies for every meal to maintain a “look”.
Why is this such a big deal? Because all these characters are considered physical goals for men. These are actual unobtainable physical standards for men. Male body image issues get swept under the rug so often that some people don’t even think they exist.
As a guy with an ED, it’s really nice to hear people talking about men’s body image issues, but I kinda feel like saying men are just as objectified as women misses the point somewhat. Objectification has to do with much more than just unrealistic standards of beauty, and while both men and women in the acting business endure horrifying things to maintain the desired “look,” women are forced to do so while also experiencing a number of other injustices. Like, for example, I’m sure both Chris Evans and Scarlet Johansen were submitted to really concerning shit for Avengers, but only Scarlet received highly invasive questions about her body, and only Scarlet’s character was used as an interchangeable romance prop, and only Scarlet did so just to have her character written off by male fans as nothing more than eye candy.
I’m really not trying to say that men don’t experience huge body issues, hell i’ve lived them for the past 3 years, but we need to address that there is already a thoroughly ingrained system of prejudice in place working against women, and that means that they experience objectification often invisible at first glance. Support men and help us, but remember pain is not a competition, as others are in need of urgent care.
(Also, p.s., to those using this to bitch about feminism, feminists are the people pushing the hardest for men with body issues, so don’t fucking use me as a prop because you don’t like women organizing. Fuck you.)
if you ever feel small read this
If you were to scale our solar system's Sun (ya know, that big thing in the sky that gives us light) down to the size of a human blood cell, the Milky Way Galaxy would be the size of the United States...Think about that for a second. And that's just our ONE galaxy. There are over 200 BILLION galaxies in the observable universe alone, likely many, many more. It's truly insane to think about how infinitely massive the universe is, and how truly very small we all are but it’s easy to get caught up in how insignificant we are in the goings on of the universe. But the atoms that make up the human body and all life are traceable to the big bang and that means a part of space is in us so we’re not passengers in the vast universe we’re part of it just as much as say a star on the verge of turning into a blackhole 200,000,000,000 light years away and that makes me quite happy that I can consider myself as significant as a dead star that could turn people into spaghetti.Â
Almost completely blonde omg finally
