I'm all for peace, love, unity, equality, beauty, and diversity! This tumblr is dedicated to all the beautiful "Broken Butterflies" who suffer from depression, thoughts of suicide, etc. This blog was created to inspire and uplift them. What Others Think of You Has Nothing to Do with You

"Other people’s opinions have nothing to do with you." We might have come across this sentence, but we might not fully understand how it could be true. It is perfectly true though, and I’m going to explain to you why.

When someone has a bad opinion of us, we immediately look inside our own selves in search for the cause of that negative opinion. Most of the time in life, I would advise you to look inside yourself, because that is where you’ll find the answer, but there is always an exception to the rule, and others’ negative opinion is one of those times when you should take a closer look at the other person, and try to understand them.
