In defense of Azealia Banks.

As a passionate consumer of Azealia Banks’ music I almost feel a duty to press against the tide of negativity and throw some words out there in defense of a highly misunderstood creative artist.

JK, she actually behaves like complete garbage and I stopped defending her online antics like a year ago.

However, I’m not blind to some of the double standards.  Twitter just suspended Azealia Banks for her behavior and I’m like…I see worse than that in my own mentions?  I follow women (mostly Black) who receive actual death threats from cowardly babymen, and when those fools are reported to Twitter, nothing happens.  Calling Zayn Malik a few racist slurs is deplorable.  But she got suspended from Twitter over that while folks are out here receiving actual death threats?
