i had the most beautiful dream about a roller rink nearby holding a qotsa night and I went in this beautiful little navy blue dress... and little did i know for the first half of it that josh homme was also among the crowd until running joke/paper machete came on, and all of a sudden i got really fucking good at skating and so i start pulling moves dancing in the rink as i gracefully glide across the very outer edge.

and suddenly this suited very tall man approaches me and glides along with me. he doesn't want to dance, merely observe me in the near darkness. the lights seem to beam a little more towards us as i pull more and more intricate moves to impress josh, and he smiles as he watches me.

it's only for about a minute- he watches me the first half of the paper machete segment and scoots off the rink. naturally i am sweaty and gnarly and absolutely fucking jazzed to have seen THE josh homme at my little local skating rink, so after the song ends(as i am still busting my shit down) i start hunting him down to chat with him, reckoning he's probably in/outside the bathrooms.

and then the dream fell apart and the bathrooms became like endless and when i finally thought i found the right one i woke up
