First of all, miles has been preparing for your birthday a week in advance. He knows you don’t like anything too big, so he keeps it lowkey.

You closed the apartment door, sliding the lock before turning to the living room; “I’m home!” You yelled out, to see if either of your parents were home, to which you got no reply. You shrugged it off before heading to your bedroom, upon opening the door you saw miles, sneaking into your window in his spiderman suit. “Miles!” Yo yelled happily, running towards him. You saw his suits eyes grow as he held his arms out to you, hugging you tightly. “Happy birthday,I came here to give you your gifts” he took off his mask, placing a soft kiss to your forehead. You let him go,sitting on the edge of your bed excitedly. It wasn’t the gifts that made you excited, but seeing miles for the first time today. “Here” he handed you a small gift bag with a note that read please open when I’m not around:).

Miles spent time with you for the rest of that day, a walk around Brooklyn, taking you to a park where he bought you your favorite drink from the nearby cafe

“Can I get the (your choice of drink), and a hot chocolate please” miles’ sweet voice called out, as he looked up at the menu while ordering before sparing the cashier a glance, sliding her the money. “You know my favorite drink?” You asked with a smile, already knowing the answer you were about to receive. “Of course I do- what! Your my girlfriend” miles replied, baffled that you’d question his knowledge on his girl.

Next stop was the bakery.

“Miles really?” You looked at him with a deadpanned expression, watching as he held the door to a building with a huge neon sign that read bakery. “I have a little surprise for you” he smiled, ushering you inside before he went to the register and brought back a small little box. He opened it, showing you the cup cake with your (favorite flavors). On top was a little singular candle; “one wish, one candle right?” Miles laughed, smiling at you brightly. You just nodded and smiled at him before you both continued your walk back home.

It had gotten dark exceptionally quickly, and miles’ curfew was at 10 so he had to speed things up. So here you sat, back in your room with miles as he lit the candle.

“Happy birthday to you!” He sang the song, not too loudly but with enough energy to makeup for the people you were missing. After he was done and you blew out the candle, his finger dipped into the frosting before wiping it onto your nose. “Miles!” You yelled, laughing as the cold sweet paste touched your skin. He laughed, but it quickly pauses when you pulled him by his hoodie strings. “It’s almost 10, thank you for today” you smiled at him as his hands made their way to hold your cheeks, pressing a kiss to your lips. “Of course babe, text me how you like your gift.” He said, before placing another kiss on your head.

“See you!” You yelled as he slid open the window, now back in his spider suit. He turned and yelled a last happy birthday before swinging away.

Now it was the gift, you sat there for another hour deciding if you should open it now or not, but you didn’t know that miles was still up waiting for your text.

You opened the bag, inside was a small booklet and even smaller box with a brand name etched. You smiled to yourself as you went through the booklet. It was sketches of you from all the times you and him went on a date, with those pretty bold colors he’d use for his graffiti. You both had been with eachother so much he could make a mini sketchbook, and he remembered the details of each time. You placed the book down after going through it, laughing at all the memories with miles. You opened the smaller box, inside was a necklace with your initials plus M. Both initials were encapsulated by a small heart. Your own heart melted at the sight of the jewelry. You had been talking about getting it for the both of you since you saw it. You instantly texted miles and it went something like this;

You felt goosebumps rise along your skin as you read the text. The feeling of fear creeping up your back as miles gave you an unreadable stare.

Was he here to hurt you?

Was he going to attack?

What did miles mean, that wasn’t him?

What the fuck was even going on?

Did you really just kiss a stranger?

You felt sick, the fear was taking over, but your miles had taught you to always play it cool during dangerous situations and he’d be there in a minute. you cleared your throat, turning back to the spider boy.

“Miles you said, spiderman? Like from the old comics?” You chirped, all the fear that miles had creeping up melting away. “Yea! Look” thwip thwip, was the sound the webs made as he shot them from a small device on his wrist.

You kept asking questions, miles warming up to you even more as he sat on your bed and explained his whole spider-man story and how his dad was in danger.

but for a second, you forgot this wasn’t your miles, this wasn’t the miles that you met years before his dads death.

You both jumped at the sound of a heavy clash on the fire escape again. Miles threw his arm over you protectively, pushing you back and away from the window.

A claw slid the window open, neon pink and purple glowing slightly outlining the figure. You knew who it was, but for the sake of the other miles you acted scared. “There’s a prowler here?” He asked, his face twisting up in confusion as he turned to you.

Not even a second later, he was out on the floor. “Miles!” You yelled angrily as you stared at him in the prowler suit. “Que mami?” He asked, the headpiece folding back. “You didn’t have to hit him that hard” you kneeled besides the spiderboy, rubbing your thumb over the bruise now forming in his cheekbone.

“Don’t tell me you’re all close with this..offbrand of me.” Miles grumbled, roughly grabbing your wrist and pulling it away from the other miles causing you to fall back on your ass with a yelp.

You looked up at him, rubbing your stinging wrist; “what the fuck is wrong with you?” You glared at him, ignoring the pain from the marks on your wrist.

Miles said nothing, a look of disgust across his face as a side of his top lip raised; “I saw- te vi besarlo mamí” he looked down, and towards the other miles, thinking of how the other miles had felt your plush lips, that were only for him to feel against his own.

You had a look of disbelief on your face, he was that mad because you’d..accidentally kissed another version of him? (Which was understandable, but not to hurt you.)

“Miles I thought he was you!” You yelled, pointing between the two that looked exactly alike. Miles just ignored you, placing a little device on the spiderboy that tied his wrists together. “He reminded me of how you were before your father passed!” You yelled, giving in.

There was no movement, no sounds or anything. But miles felt his breath hitch at your comment before he looked at you. “You were so childlike, and sweet and just so young! I thought that you somehow had got that little spark back.”

You continued, tears forming in your eyes as you remembered how it was to watch miles loose himself in the prowler and turn to a life of crime.

Miles just deactivated his claw before walking over to you, falling to his knees and straddling you. “Lo siento mucho mami” He mumbled, grabbing your wrist and kissing it before hugging you.

“I’m sorry” you replied, leaning into his embrace. He just held you, mumbling apologies for snapping on you like that, and how it wasn’t your fault.

“I have to get him to uncle Aaron.” He whispered, kissing your temple. You just nodded, letting go of him.

As he stood up you grabbed his hand looking up at him with pleading, teary eyes. “He’s already gone through so much like you, please don’t hurt him amor..” you let go and miles just gave you a nod before clicking the button that reactivated his helmet, and sliding on the claw.

You couldn’t bear to see or even know that in another universe, miles goes through the same pain again, and again..in every universe.

Miles picked up miles and stepped out on the fire escape; “Hasta mañana mi Vida” he closed the window and jumped out of your view.

You sat in the same spot, confused and scared. You’d definitely ask a shit ton of questions tomorrow.

Miles had invited you over to chill, since he’d been so busy he hardly had time to give you the attention you deserved. You got there at 10, sitting next to him as he played his video games.

it was 12am now, you’d been laying on miles’ bed since 10, waiting for him to get off the game. It wasn’t often miles got to actually enjoy normal teenage things, so you didn’t want to interrupt the little time he had to play video games.

But what you didn’t realize was how your eyes had been boring a hole in the side of his face and your phone repeated the same video over and over again as he talked through the headset, occasionally yelling when his teammates would fail on the missions.

He raised the mic, muting it and without even sparing you a glance he spoke; “What’s wrong with you ma?” You snapped out of your mind, now realizing you’d been staring. You shrugged mumbling “I zoned out, my bad” you flipped your head the other way, clicking off your phone and closing your eyes.

Miles could tell you had a little attitude now, and he didn’t want his girl being mad at him for no reason. “Come over here” he reached one hand out to tap your leg that was above him on the bed.

You shuffled your leg away from his touch. A muffled nuh-uh coming from you as you hid your face in the pillow. “Ma I’m not gonna ask again” he set down his controller and slid off his headset.

You didn’t move, as you could hear him standing up. You jumped when you felt his hands flip you towards him, confused as to where he got this strength from.

Even now, you didn’t wanna talk to him; “go play your stupid game” you waved your hands, shooing him away. Miles smirked, now understanding why you were acting this way.

His hand grabbed your chin turning you to face him, gentle but rough enough to get you to stop fighting back.

“Let me teach you how to play mami” he leaned forward and left a kiss on your lips, your body instantly relaxed, as well as the small scowl and furrowed eyebrows on your face.

“No” you grabbed his wrist and moved his hand from your chin. You still held up your “attitude” only annoying miles further. He picked you up from the bed causing you to blush and yell swears about how if he didn’t put you down right now you would do some non-nice-girlfriend things to him.

He sat down back in his spot, with you on his lap. Now you were a quiet, flustered mess as you sat there staring at the screen. Miles knew his mom would freak if she ever saw you both in this position, but she was working a night shift at the hospital.

“Here put this on and hold the controller.” He slid the headset on you and his hands were on top of yours as you held the controller. He pulled the mic towards him, unmuting it; “my girl finna whoop y’all’s ass,” he smirked, instantly hearing the yells of protest.

“I know y’all just heard what I said” miles chimed in again, this time with a threatening tone. The rest of the night consisted of miles “teaching” you how to play, but in reality you both knew he was doing all the work.

But you didn’t mind, why ruin a perfect moment of intimacy?

A crash woke you up. The sound had come from your fire escape, where miles would usually meet you. You turned on your lamp, jumping when you saw miles sliding your window closed.

“Miles? You took out your braids?” You asked groggily rubbing your eyes. “Uh yeah..” his voiced sounded lighter, as if he was scared almost.

You sat up completely, squinting trying to really see him. Before you knew it he flew into your torso, hugging you tightly.

You held your arms up shocked, not knowing wether to comfort or question what’d gotten into him.

“Amor..Que paso?” You asked, your hands now resting on his back. “Y/N..I’m scared.. the spider society..my friends..my dad” he breathed out, hiccups in between everything he said. he was crying.

“Spider society? Friends? Miles what are you talking about baby?” Your hands moved to under his jaw, bringing his head up to look at you. His baby face was suddenly back, as if he’d aged backwards.

“Gwen? Peter? You know..Spiderman?” Miles said questioning, confused as to why all of a sudden you didn’t know who he was talking about.

“Spiderman? Is this like.. a cosplay..?” You asked, now smiling a little as you realized miles was just being funny.

“No..you know I’m spiderman, you were the first person I told after the original-..” he cut himself off, now realizing what exactly was going on.

“Miles stop talking crazy..” you laughed lightly, pressing a kiss to his lips. Then your phone buzzed, you and miles both turned to look at the message.

The notification read from miles, confusing you. Miles cleared his throat, letting go of you and standing up.

“My message must have sent late” he said, playing it off. You let out a hum and laugh when you saw what he was wearing.

“You really went all out for this whole cosplay thing, huh?” You smiled while opening the message on your phone, before your entire face fell, fear creeped up your spine.

“Hobie, can I crash at yours tonight?” Gwen asked, taking off her mask as she watched hobie step towards the portal he’d opened.

“Uhh not gonna lie to ya, m’ not even goin home myself” hobie replied, turning his head to face Gwen.

She visibly saddened but nodded nonetheless. Hobie sighed; “you can stay at my place but I’m probably not gotta be home til tomorrow mornin’..”

hobie threw her his keys before stepping into the portal that took him straight to an alleyway behind your apartments building. He pulled out his phone and sent you a text reading

movie? Me and Gwen finished early.

Hobie didn’t even give you a chance to reply, swinging up to your buildings window and sliding it open, slipping through.

“Hobes?” Your sweet voice called out from your room. Your parents were on a little getaway and wouldn’t be back for another week, which meant you had all the company you wanted over, whenever you wanted.

Including your boyfriend hobie, who your parents never understood. He walked into your bedroom, a smirk on his lips as he towered over your figure in bed.

“Wassup love” One hand rested on your plush thigh and another on your cheek as he leaned forward to meet your lips, you meeting him halfway.

To be honest w you, I’m not great at writing with specific physical attributes of a reader but ima definitely try :)

Hobart,Hobie, spiderpunk, your love, whatever else you may call him, is all over you, 24/7. Quite literally.

You sat on the parks bench, waiting for your boyfriend to arrive any second now. Just as you were about to ask his eta, two hands rested on your chin, lightly pulling your head up. You didn’t fight back because you knew just by his long thin fingers, it was hobie. He smirked at you ; “your so pretty love. Got all dolled up fa’ me?” He hummed caressing your chubby cheeks before placing a kiss on your lips. You smiled at him humming in response. He couldn’t resist kissing the rest of your face, pecks in every corner before you had to shoo him off, giggling from the cold ticklish feeling his lip ring left.

Hobie is 100% a “I’ll cook for you” guy. Not even because he thinks it’s fun or anything but rather because he doesn’t believe in supporting big fast food or restaurant chains (the most he’ll do is a poc-owned family restaurant)

You were at a small farmers market with hobie, looking around at all the fresh and natural ingredients. “Sweetheart..” he trailed on, you turned to him, looking up with a small hum. “You feelin fried food or roasted today?” He asked, glance flashing at you as he picked out some stuff. “Either is fine hobes” you replied before turning back to looking around. He just hummed before throwing some more stuff in his basket. “See somethin’ you want?” He asked, following where your gaze was, only for you to shake your head. Best believe he got you the fruit you were eyeing.

That was only the shopping he asked you to tag along for, overall you weren’t much help letting him choose what he thought would be better. The real magic starts when he’s cooking.

“I can help you chop up the veggies hun” you smiled, popping up next to him after he’d told you to sit and watch him show off his skills. He sighed before sliding you a cutting board and knife; “do be careful not to cut ya fingers off love” he kissed your forehead before continuing his prepping.

Going out on dates with hobie really consisted of late night walks, swinging through London or sometimes shopping. This specific night was a walk to a small cafe.

You looked at yourself in the bodycon dress and sneakers (that you wore for now since you’d be walking) before your apartment door opened, revealing hobie. “I completely forgot I’d given you a key hobes oh my god.” You breathed out, the fear flooding away instantly. Hobie didn’t say a word though, only eyeing you from his spot in the door. “Hobie?” You called his name concerned. “The bar can wait a little” he smirked, closing the door behind him before walking up to you with grabby hands. You blushed meeting him halfway before pressing your lips against his as his hands wandered to trace every curve on your body. You pulled away smiling: “Let me fix myself a little before we go” you turned back, walking to the mirror that sat in your living room. Hobie only followed you behind, eyes still wandering. He stood behind you in the mirror, hands on your stomach as he kissed the area between your neck and shoulder. “You look so good sweetheart” was all he could mumble as his lips hovered over your skin. “Thank you love” you whispered to him, arms now over his as your hands rested on his. “This would be a great pic don’t ya think” he was joked, looking at your reflection with a grin.

Best believe at the bar he never took his hands off you.

“Hobie can we try that new drink together?” You pointed at the little menu there waiter had given you. “Whatever you want love” he hummed, placing a kiss to your temple with a arm around your waist. You didn’t notice, but while he was giving you a peck he was glaring at a guy that’d been eyeing you from across the restaurant . You waved your hand with a small excuse me to order. “Can I get one of your specials, a large please” she nodded before walking to go turn in your order. Hobie just stared at you as if you painted the stars in the sky, a look of admiration as you babbled on about a show you strongly disagreed with. He viewed you as his little protege going on about the things you disagreed with, political or not.

Bringing that up, he loved to hear your opinions on certain political or social issues. This included everything.

“the representation in that old racist book sucked ass, I don’t understand why they couldn’t have made him black!” You yelled, pointing at the character playing on the screen. Hobie was laying on your thighs, not really focusing on the screen but how they were so plush he’d just knock out right there. “No yeah, his race didn’t really matter in the book so they could have. Already lacking our rep as it is” hobie agreed sleepily, a smile on his lips as he listened to you rant on and on about what was wrong with the movie. “Your so beautiful when you talk about these things” hobie mumbled, causing you to look down at him. “So am I not beautiful every other time?” You joked, causing him to flinch and wake up. “You know your always so gorgeous to me baby” he sat up, hands snaking around you, tracing your curves. “I know love I’m just joking. Thank you” you pressed a kiss to his lips before turning back to the movie.

a/n lol this is inspired by something I went thru (I’m a really big crybaby)

Warnings none:) jus fluff (it’s really short tho, btw I hear llorona and think of la llorona 😭)

“Hermosa” he called out after entering your apartment, looking around the small space for you. Your parents were out but he’d gotten permission to stop by and say hi.

He stopped in his tracks when he saw the movie inside out paused on your living room TV, snacks scattered over the couch and wrappers on the floor.

Then he turned to the slightly cracked restroom door, the closer he got the more sniffling he heard. “ M’ in here miles” your voice called out, stuffy and wavering.

He was a little concerned now, you sounded as if you’d been crying. “You okay mamí?” He asked, leaning against the wall next to the restroom door, not knowing if he should go in or not.

“Yea- it’s just” your voice started quivering again, thinking about what’d happen in the movie. Miles went in anyways, eyes landing on your figure sitting on the counter, your nose and cheeks red with puffy eyes.

“Ay Que paso mami” he asked, taking you into his arms, between your legs as you hugged him back. “Bing- bing bong died” you cried loudly into his shoulder.

He instantly let go, lightly pushing your shoulders back so he could see your face. “Your crying over..bing bong?” He asked, fighting the smile that wanted to take over.

“He sacrificed himself for joy” you cried, using your sleeve to wipe your face. He laughed, loudly his head falling forward as he tried to hide your smile.

Your hiccups and sobs turned to laughs and coughs. “You’re seriously crying over- a kids movie?” He smiled at you, genuine amusement all over his face.

“Cállate cabrón.” You mumbled, pushing his face away. You both giggled a little more before he wiped your tears with his thumb.

“Vamos mami, let’s go finish the movie” he picked you up from the counter and carried you, even though you were perfectly capable of jumping down and walking there yourself.

He placed you on the couch at sat next to you, grabbing the remote and pressing play.

Was all the text read, sent at 12:15. Miles had a tendency of getting home late from his job, but when it was past 11, it usually meant something went wrong.

It didn’t even take a minute for you to grab your coat, throw on the hood and head out the door. You took the elevator down and took a late night cab to the place, seeing as how it was dangerous for a girl to walk the streets at night since they could, and most likely would fall victim to lots of crimes.

You tipped the driver, before stepping out infront of the building only for Mrs. Morales to open the door and let you in with a smile, but worried expression on her face.

“Hola mija..” you smiled at her softly; “Hola, ¿El está bien?” You asked, not speaking too loudly. She just shook her head; “Yo no sé mija, he just- won’t talk to me” she sounded worried as she lead you up the stairs and into their apartment.

“Talk to him, por favor Mija” she held one of your hands between both of hers, with a pleading look in her eyes. “Of course” you placed yours on top of hers squeezing before turning to go into miles’ room.

You didn’t even knock, simply opening the door and closing it behind you. The room was pitch black, the only light coming from the moon as this side of town was always dark. “Miles?” You whispered, trying your best to find his figure.

Then you heard rustling in the bed, and miles peaked his head out. “Vida mia,..¿Que paso?” You cooed, making your way to the bed and sitting next to him.

He only turned to face you, tired eyes boring into yours. “Nada..pero I just really need you right now” he mumbled, arms snaking around you and pulling you closer so that his face was now in your lap.

Your heart pounded, but ached at the sight of how exhausted he looked. You lightly tapped him making motions for him to sit up, to which he did, slowly. He gave you a questioning hm, his eyes still giving you that same look.

“I know you don’t want to talk about it, but you’re worrying us all. At least tell me something, anything” your hands on his neck and cheek, caressing him as if he’d break.

He sighed and closed his eyes; he swallowed the lump in his throat thinking about the situation earlier that night. “They..almost had me today” You could hear the pain in his voice, and the way his face twisted when he thought about it.

You wrapped your arms around him, legs now sprawled out across the bed as you pulled him in. “Oh miles..” was all you could get out, holding him so tightly. He almost died today, and it was a possibility it could happen again. “just the thought of loosing you..fuck” you squeezed him, tears threatening to spill.

His arms were now hooked under yours, holding you. “I’m sorry mamí” was all he could mumble, a tear now falling down his cheek.

“It’s not your fault miles, I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for you” you loosened your grip, rubbing circles on his back, and one hand coming up to wipe the tear from his face.

It was rare miles let you treat him like this, ever since his father passed he believed it was his job to provide and protect, take the role of “the man of the house”. He forced himself to grow up faster.

“I’m just so glad you’re okay” you mumbled, placing a kiss at the top of his braids. You both laid there staring at the night sky from his window.

Miles enjoyed the feeling of being held and comforted, being cared for. But he knows sooner or later he’d go back to the role he played, and have to tell you the truth.

the truth being how they held him at gunpoint, retrained, then threatened to kill you if he ever, stepped out of line again.

Summary miles has a panic attack while on patrol, for what reason??

Warnings panic attack

the clock on your phone read 10:30, you needed help with physics but the only person that could help would be Miles.

You shot miles a text, asking if he wanted to call and work on the vision academy’s packet they gave over break.

Usually, the boy replied within a couple seconds, but for some reason once it was dark out, he would take hours. Sighing, you placed your phone screen down on your desk as you got to work on the physics sheet, knowing you’d definitely pass if miles would help you.

Your pencil wrote down equations that you truthfully, did not really understand but it seemed like the answers were close enough. Just as you’d gotten into your little study bubble, mind elsewhere, you saw a figure on your window, leaning against it with a thud.

You rolled your chair back to your night stand, picking up your taser from the top drawer before getting up from the chair slowly creeping back. You opened the blinds and saw a black suit.. Spider-Man?

You opened the window, only to see him on the floor of the fire escape level, sitting with his head thrown back as his chest rose and fell quickly.

You could definitely hear his hyperventilation all the way from the cracked window, and saw blood as well. You felt scared, of him and the situation. “Spider-Man?” You called out, voice lacing concern as you stepped out onto the fire escape, dropping your taser.

The hero only continued to hyperventilate, his body trembling. You walked to him and knelt in-front of him, hand on his shoulder now. His body only flinched at your contact but he continued to breathe raggedly as if he could not catch his breath. He lifted his arm, slipped off his mask, revealing miles.

Your eyes grew wide, watching the fear in the boys face and the way his lips were parted as he tried to breathe. “Miles? What the fuck happened?” You whisper yelled, now actually concerned instead of scared.

He closed his eyes, face and eyebrows twisting as if he were in pain. He was having flashbacks of what he had seen before he came to you. You lifted his legs to his chest, and took both of his hands in yours.

He was still shaking like crazy, but he’d brought his head back down to look at you before closing his eyes again trying to not think about it.

“Miles, breathe” you breathed in, placing one of his hands to feel your breathing, then breathed out. “Focus on your breathing, focus on how I’m doing it” your voice was low and calm, demonstrating a breathing exercise for him.

He nodded, eyes shutting closed as he followed your breathing. Miles tuned out the loud police sirens, people walking down the street and the dim neon lights, hyper focusing on your heart beat and breathing.

He noticed how fast your heart was beating, but your breathing was still calm and regular, he attempted his best to copy you, breathing in when you did and letting it out when you did.

His slowly returned back to normal, the shaking coming to a stop. You felt his arm go limp, the stiffness that came from the panic attack melted away. “Miles talk to me,” you breathed out, scooting closer as you watched his head droop to his knees.

“I’m- okay..” he whispered, voice so soft but shrill, it pained you to hear him like this. Miles was always positive, joyful and so loud. This was, a panic attack? You could only reach your arms out to him, giving him a choice to either come into your embrace or stay how he was.

Miles looked up at you, the tears that pricked his eyes already spilled and stopped. He leaned forward into your open arms, arms around your waist as his head rested on your chest. You wrapped one arm around him and another caressing his head.

You both sat there in silence, miles listening to your heart beat as you rubbed circles into his back. “You wanna talk about it?” You whispered, not stopping your motions. Miles shook his head slightly; “jus’ wanna stay like this for a lil longer” he mumbled, cheek squished from him laying on your chest.

You just nodded, throwing your head back as you looked up at the barely visible stars. Having the top floor apartment was a blessing right about now.

You stayed like that, never moving miles as he’d fallen fast asleep, his breaths were light but finally going at a normal pace. You figured you’d talk to him about everything when he was ready to open up. “goodnight miles.” You whispered, placing a kiss on the top of his head.
