The Sigh that Blew me Forward
"You’re welcome." Tyler smiled, rubbing small circles on Lily’s lower back as she cut Ella’s pizza. He laughed as Ella agreed enthusiastically that yes, she did want the cupcake maker and kitchen set. And Tyler didn’t even care if he had to hunt down the toy in question, he’d do anything to make Ella happy. "I think we can do that, but you have to be a good girl for mommy, okay?" He asked as she nodded, a determined look on her face and Tyler grinned, looking over at Lily and placing a kiss on her cheek before he got to eating and watching the movie playing. It wasn’t long before he felt the weight of Ella at his side as she slowly drifted off to sleep. "I’m so jealous of her nap time right now." Tyler whispered to Lily.
Once Lily had finished cutting up Ella's pizza, Ella made herself comfortable in her little Frozen chair that was just the perfect size for letting her eat at the coffee table. Just a few bites in, she looked up at Tyler with pizza sauce already all over her face and widened her eyes a bit. "I'm always a good girl," she made sure to add - and she was completely right, and Lily would vouch for that. Somehow she'd managed to have an amazing little girl that was headstrong like Lily herself had always been. but also an absolute sweetheart. Once Ella had finished eating, Lily wiped off her hands and face before Ella made herself comfortable once again at Tyler's side, easily drifting to sleep not too long afterwards. "Hey, nobody's stopping you from having nap time of your own," Lily said with a smile, pressing a kiss to Tyler's cheek. "I'm going to take this as an opportunity to look at how feasible her Build-A-Bear party will be, though," she said, reaching over and grabbing her laptop before settling back against Tyler again.
