"It’s so good to see you. After all this time." Percy said, stepping closer to Nico. The Underworld smelled like rot and pain, and the screams and cries of the dead who walked on the Fields still filled Percy’s ears; but Nico’s present eased away all the pain. "I thought… I wouldn’t come back."

Then he was back to the underworld. And there was Percy, in front of him "I could never leave you here in this place .." Nico said, clenching fists. He was exhausted and frail, but he wouldn't show anything yet. He wasn't sure he could bring they back from that place, he didn't want to give false hopes to Percy, but Nico wouldn't go without him. "It's good to see you too..." he whispered, looking directly in his blue eyes.
