"Um... Thanks for the save." She held up her drink, safely up and out of the way of the one guy falling flat on his face, right after the other guy seemed to knock his ass out of commission. She'd only caught a split second of it from the corner of her eye, but it seemed that the first guy was reaching for her back pocket, probably for her wallet among other things.

She didn't even have a chance to react or knee him in the balls herself before this one showed up. Not that she was ungrateful, just surprisingly thrown for a loop, glancing awkwardly between him and the sleaze taking a nap on the floor.

"You must see a lot of that around here. Do you normally come swooping in to save the day, or is this a special occasion?"

“ i would prefer not to have dirtbags harassin’ my patrons, ” he huffs, casting a disdainful glance at the now blissfully unconscious man sprawled on the floor, “ it gets rowdy here, but i got my limits. sorry ‘bout that. ”

with a subtle nod of the head, he motions for the jackass to be escorted out — forcibly — before turning toward the woman again, a sheepish expression softening his features. he fidgets, avoiding direct eye contact. “ can i getcha anything? make it up to ya somehow? ‘s on me. ”

lack of interaction ≠ lack of interest. sometimes, life gets in the way, or my muse doesn't cooperate with me the way i want, or i'm simply too anxious to take the first step. but just because we currently don't have any interactions going, doesn't mean that i'm not interested in writing with you and your muse(s). maybe the perfect opportunity hasn't presented itself yet, or i couldn't think of a good enough plot but that never ever has anything to do with you. after all, we're mutuals for a reason and that's usually because i enjoy seeing you on my dash and would love to write with you ― whenever that may happen.
