MVP

Moosic, PA (September 19, 2017) - Durham Bulls second baseman Keon Wong was the MVP of the Triple-A championship tonight, and got the traditional trophy and Gatorade shower.

Keon, younger brother of Kolten Wong, led the Durham Bulls (Rays) to victory over the Memphis Redbirds (Cards).  He hit a grand slam that dug the Bulls out of a hole and put them on top…for good. Made some nice plays on defense, too.

Jared Sandberg

Moosic, PA (September 15, 2017) - Jared Sandberg, manager of the AAA Durham Bulls, returns to the dugout after a pitching change.  It was the 5th reliever he put in the game.

He mostly kept a stone face throughout Game 4 of the IL Championship series, but couldn’t help smiling when an irate RailRiders fan yelled, “Jeez, how many pitchers you got?”

Jared Sandberg is Ryne Sandberg’s nephew.
