Hi, I really love your art, it's beautiful (I'm personally neutral about the Vanilla and Milk ship, but I really like the drawings because they're all very beautiful from all the artists!)
So, I didn't really see anything about the bunny daydream, so I hope you won't mind if I write about him and Lily.) (As soon as I saw Lily there, I immediately wanted to write something. )
So, our little story begins with a very curious person (my favorite) who lacks a sense of self-preservation. Lily has always been extremely curious and thirsty to understand the world around her, from microorganisms to the entire universe. And of course, the forest near which she lived became a treasure trove for her research. Lily loved to wander around and explore it. Complete solitude, tranquility, and warm rays of sunshine filtering through the leaves. Truly, the forest created a magical, calming atmosphere that was so inviting. Having stayed up late again, when the bright moon had already risen and lulled us with its gentle light, Lily sat in an old abandoned cellar she had found and renovated in the forest. The gazebo was surrounded by a field of flowers, most of which were occupied by lilies. Lost in her thoughts, she did not notice how a pair of small eyes were watching her. Fascinated by this hitherto unseen creature, he began to slowly move towards it to take a closer look, as he too was incredibly curious. Hearing a noticeable rustling of leaves, Lily came out of her thoughts and saw a small bunny(?) Realizing he'd been noticed, the bunny(?) stopped and continued watching Lily. Lily, too, was watching the little creature with great interest. A little time passed, and Lily was the one who broke the silence with her soft smile and gentle voice.
"You've come a long way. Hmm, I wonder what you are. You look like a bunny, but they don't live here. Maybe you're a rabbit? Although, I'm not sure. You remind me of those cute bunnies at my work."
The intrigued bunny looked at her curiously. He clearly wanted to approach her but hesitated. Noticing this, Lily beckoned him over, and he, still cautious, approached her hand and sniffed it. Lily smiled warmly and began petting him, which he undoubtedly enjoyed. So they spent the short summer night together. Closer to dawn, the bunny(?) fell asleep, but Lily had to go. She couldn't take him with her, so before leaving, she left him some food and a small blanket for him to sleep on. The bunny woke up and sleepily looked around in search of his companion, but not finding her, he would have thought that it was all a dream if not for the blanket and a small amount of food that the mysterious creature left for him. Feeling melancholy and wanting to meet this welcoming creature again, the bunny(?) remained near the little table. And then, late in the evening, Lily reappeared with books. She was surprised when the bunny(?) joyfully jumped on her.
And that's how a new friendship was born.
Lily named the bunny Daydream because during the day he loved to doze in the sun next to her.
How did Daydream get into the park? Lily noticed the forest and its surroundings were becoming increasingly restless, and fearing for the life of her no longer-so-little friend, she decided to ask the Fountain of Knowledge if she could bring Daydream to the other bunnies (she was about to keep him). The Fountain agreed, and that's how Daydream became part of the park.
She's very calm and even-tempered. He sleeps often and isn't very active, moving so quietly that keeping track of him is especially difficult, but surprisingly, he's never gotten into trouble. However, if Lily is nearby, he magically disappears from the bunny pen and can only be found where Lily is, happily jumping next to her, as if inviting her to dance. He's also often found in her purse.
I hope you enjoyed my short story! Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
Ps : I hope this doesn't accidentally get lost somewhere in the depths of Tumblr, otherwise I'll feel a little awkward sending it a second time. 😶🌫️
Hello there! Ty for the kind words and enjoying my art despite not being a sdvn shipper. I agree, there's a lot of talented sdvn artist haha^^
Your story is very beautiful, I was wondering whether to make Daydream a bunny or not, he's a Faerie in canon so him having some mysterious aspects would be nice despite my au being strictly non-magical. Making Daydream a "bunny(?)" is very clever haha.
The story in my au is quite different (Lily doesn't know Fount/Blueberry Milk prior to working at the park, Elder Faerie aka the park manager was the one to name him, Daydream was the second bunnilla to be added etc) I hope you don't mind if I borrow the ideas from this story, such as no one really know where Daydream came from or that Lily and him met before. Have a good day!
