on the one hand I feel like I really appreciate in kitchen culture the bootstrap attitude like honestly it’s really taught me how to be a person like if I want something no one is going to give it to me not to sound like a boomer but it’s taught me how to advocate for myself and go after what I want… also to figure out what I want. Like I would not be me without it. But on the other hand it’s so exhausting and honestly sometimes disheartening to see it just grind away at weak wills. My own weak will. And people just like having a hard time…. Or like a minority
